'Allo!
To sum myself up quickly: I'm nineteen, pretty interested in history, and getting ready to start college in the fall. I'm obsessed with the Tudor Dynasty and, while I like the tv show, actual history is my first mistress.
Can't wait to poke around the community here!

Hey William! Liam is a sweet name too ;D I hope your new RPG goes well, what's it about?
And I love history too! It was my favorite subject... that and psychology lol.

Hey Liam! Its great to have another lurker registering, welcome to the group!! The community is super friendly and most of us don't mind being poked now and again. :) I'm a Tudor fan myself, tv show more than the actual history, but minor details. Does the RPG your making have anything to do with the Tudor time period?

:o So that was the odd noise I heard in the back.
>.> it was you, Mr. Ghost. Welcome to RPG-D. I hope your stay is an enjoyable one. By the way, Mr. Resident Ghost, I think you knocked something over once or twice while haunting us. u_u
Or maybe that was Earnest who did that . . . *trails off*

I bid thee welcome from a fellow former lurker, Sir William. My favorite (at the moment) periods are the Renaissance and Reformation ones. Do you have a preference for a specific time period? Ancient? Medieval or Modern? Or do you like all of them? Have you rped on historical rps a lot? The Tudor dynasty is pretty fascinating. It really shook things up. I haven't really watch the tv show much, though I admire the costumes from the stills I see on the internet.

Thanks for the warm welcome, y'all! :)
I'm setting my RPG "pre-Tudor," opting to focus on the political strife that enabled the Tudors to snatch the crown. :D I'm making it alternate universe to accommodate those who aren't super familiar with exact history, names, or locations. While the basic premise will be that of the York vs. Lancaster situation, it'll be a little more Tudoresque in feel and not strict to actual history. :)
I have roleplayed quite a few historical genres in the past. A few Tudor RPGs here and there, one Victorian, and a few French Revolution RPGs (perhaps my favorite second to Tudorish times).
:D

Oh, pre-tudor? The white versus the red rose? It is lovely. Enough for conflict and political backstabbing and sneakiness.
Lol, no Margaret Beaufort? That is one women, I would have liked to know more about.
