So, I joined the site a few months ago and kind of just started randomly posting here and there when something caught my attention. I figured I should remember my manners and properly introduce myself (just don't tell my mama I forgot :p).


I'm Sydney! -waves spazztically- And that's Sydney, like in Australia, not Cindy, like what's short for Cynthia. That's a maaaajor pet peeve of mine xD I've actually been known to literally spell it out for people, just so they can say it right. Even spelling it wrong (hello, Sidney is typcially for a boy, fool) gets my gander up. Anywho, here's a few random things about me!

1. I'm from Missouri. My hometown is about 250 people. But last summer, I did a bad bad thing. I moved across the Mississippi into Illinois to a city. I hate it. I hate city living (no offense to those from the city). However, me and my roommate (my best friend since we were 12) are in the process of moving back into MO.

2. I live for NASCAR and soccer (mainly Premier League). After the disaster my NCAA basketball bracket was, I'm just ready for them to bring on the World Cup. -coughGOENGLAND!cough-

3. I've been RP'ing for about 3-4 years now. And I can't remember life before it. It's my escape from everyday b.s. I mean, seriously. I hate my job (I went to college for four years to study criminal justice to simply be working as a server and bartender.... but I count myself lucky to have a job). My friends can be drama whores. My parents stress me out. How do I forget about it all? I hide out in my room and do some writing xD

Hm. I think I'll stop it there. I tend to write like I talk, which is A LOT. I can ramble like a pro. Plus, hey, I said it would be a FEW things xD

Hello, welcome to the site. I'm December, Esq, but call me Dec. Actually, I've always thought bartending would be an interesting job. Do you not like it because you don't like the job or because you went to school and should be working at a "better" job?

Hey Dec. Thank you! Bartending really isn't THAT bad (I can easily be a little dramatic xD). I mean, when I was younger, I always said that it was something I wouldn't have a problem doing while I was in college for extra money. I just didn't actually train at a restaurant until just this past summer, over a year after I finished college. I just feel like it's one of those things that is repetitious. It's the same recipes for the same drinks. It's against company policy to go off recipe and add more that what is called for. So, like I said, it's the same thing, over and over and over.

It's one of those things that I stand up at the bar, looking out at the restaraunt and think, "I went to school for four years to study Criminal Justice for THIS?" But, don't get me wrong, I am more than thankful that I have a job, regardless of what that is. It pays the bills, plus more than enough extra to go out with my friends and do things for fun.

I come from a small town. Really small.

I don't particularly like cities without a suburban area. But that's just me. XD

Same. ^_^ Sometimes it's because I don't wanna go out into the real world and be stressed by it all.

Yeah, same here. I can't believe how much I've missed the small town thing. Seriously. I was at the gas station yesterday and a guy drove up in a skidloader (parked properly in a space and everything) just to get a soda and cigarettes. -sighs- First sign that I am home xD

Sounds about right. I just love being in a place where you can feel right at home just walking into a store.

I guess I'm just attracted to the atmosphere of slightly run down buildings and old fashioned structures.
