i was reading through, and I dont know if this is under another title, but i was thinking that maybe there should be someone who goes through the directory and see what links are still alive/active and delete those which aren't
rules and responcibilties can be worked out by you guys, but thars my thought, sorry if someine has the job, but i have noticed alot of dead sites in the directory

About every three or so months we have a directory cleanout, where our Index Mod, and sometimes the Admins go through and check the different submissions to see if they still have out button up, if they are following all of the IF rules, that all copyrights are intact, etc.

After that we have a list of all sites that need to be removed, and we PM all of the members who dubmittedthe site to the directory asking them either for corrections or informing them of their submissions deletion.

Now this process take a lot of time to do, which is why it isn't so often. If you ever notice a site that is no longer up please feel free to PM Horsecrzy721, Shinli, Andy, or myself and we will take care of the site as soon as possible.

ahh okies. I understand that would take alot of time. If I find anymore sites that aren't working, then I will pm the authorities

Thanks Desire. And that counts for all our members, feel free to pm us a link to a deleted/offline board or if you think something is wrong on a board who is advertised in the directory.

It's mostly the deleted sties that should be PMed. The Offline ones I wont take down for the simple fact that they are offline. They may be opening them again [no matter what the offline message says]. When the cleanout comes, which I will hopefully have the time to do soon, I've wanted to for a while, it will all be taken care of. Furthermore, if you put your board offline and have no intention of opening it back up again, I beg you to PM me. It makes my job just that much easier!
