Just thought I'd stop in and introduce myself. ^^
I found this site on a board I am currently at and I love it so far. I am loving the graphics sections and look forward to adding some more to it. I have read a few topics about how to run a successful board and I am ecstatic to be a part of this place.
Great work all. Look forward to getting to know more of you all.

Hi there, Bakuri. I'm December, Esq, but call me Dec.
I see you enjoy Dollhouse, given your signature. I actually have never seen it, and I'm not sure what it's about. All I know is that people like it. I went to the store today and found a copy of the episodes on DVD, but it didn't tell me what the general plot was on the back, only the episodes the DVD contained. It's a good show, I take it?

Hi Dec ^^
I do love the Dollhouse, some might say obsessively :p
The basic premise involves people who have their brains altered to erase all memories and personality traits, and then they are reprogrammed with new personalities. Their new personalities are usually built as requested by rich people for whatever they want.
On the earlier season they use the tagline "But can you wipe away a soul?" So there are lots of moments about the wiped people retaining bits of their original self etc.
It has serious moments but also a lot of fun things too. I really enjoyed it ^^ Although I think it does start out a little slower, it picks up the pace around the sixth episode.
Thanks for the welcome, it's nice meeting you.

So do they live in a giant Dollhouse or are they all chilling in the real world?
And you're welcome for the welcome. ;)

They live in a giant Dollhouse that was built underground. They are supposed to be in a child like state while in the Dollhouse, and they have people that look after them that live in the Dollhouse too (Security, Doctors, Chefs, Programmers etc).
When they are programmed with a personality then they are sent out into the real world. They are sent on 'engagements' to perform whatever the client wants. A lot of the earlier stuff include romance engagements, but they get more interesting like programming a master criminal or programming assassins etc.
Although there are some that live for long periods in the real world without knowing that they have been programmed. They are called Sleepers and with the flip of a switch the Dollhouse can turn them into assassins.

Crazy creepy. D: That sounds fun; I'll try to catch an episode if they air it on TV.
