Name of Board: Technicolour Dreams

Short description of Board: Technicolour Dreams is an RL board with a very generalised plot. I want for everyone to feel involved, to create the plots they want to create, not a pre-organised one.
There is one generalised plot, and that is Cell 544, a local legend with a Blog named after it, set up for people to spill each other's secrets. Kind of think Gossip Girl, except anyone can blast a post, real or lies.
Analysis Notes: I've created this board very much on my own, so input on anything you see neccessary would be very much appreciated.
Just so you know, the reason there are so many canons is because there is a rule that you must adopt a canon first, therefore I thought choice would be appreciated.
Is the fact that it's so general a good or bad thing? Is too much choice and freedom an issue, or do you look at the board thinking "thank god, I'm not being pushed in one direction"?
Do you like the Blog idea, that anyone can post and it is anonymous. I've created a login and will give each member the password.
Do you like the absense of the 'Cellphone', 'Instant Messenger', 'Plot Threads' sections? Personally, I've been finding that so much time is spent on those that time is pulled away from the actual RPing. I was considering placing in a generalised 'other contact methods' type forum. Would you think this is a good idea, or should I stay clear of it?
