Sirius Black. He is swift and turns into a kick ass wolf thing.

I absolutley adore Black in his teens, the arrogant a****le that he is, though in his later years he got a little bit tamer, and a bit more unhinged. Both are good and bad in my eyes.
As for Lupin. Well. Who couldn't love the disaffected werewolf with those gorgeous puppydog eyes? XD

I'd say Remus, seeing as he's actually the only one of them who seemed to have at least some level of intelligence. (sweat)

Well, it does say in the books that Sirius and James were some of the smartest kids in the school. They... just didn't use it, I guess. And I voted for everyone but Peter, who I'm pretty sure won't get many votes at ALL.

Remus Lupin has been my favorite character in the series since he was introduced. So, it only makes sense that he would be my favorite Marauder. Tied in second are James and Sirius, and Peter isn't even in the running.

I love Remmy to bits! I also love Sirius, even though he didn't mature as he grew older (I mean who can blame him, spending most of his young life in Azkaban).

In my eyes, it's pretty much a tie between Remus and Sirius ... has anyone else noticed that all of their first names, except for Peter's ends with an 's'? That makes him even more of an outcast I guess ... yes, I know I'm slow.

James. Something about that ego of his makes him sexy and loveable.

Remus Lupin since is pretty cool.

Haha, James owns me XD I love his arrogance, and his devotion to Lily; he is just so hilarious, I can't seem to like anyone more than him ;D Plus, in my mind, he's hoooot.

I picked James because I happen to like arrogant smart asses. Besides, his devotion to Lily really is moving, just as expo said. Sirius is my next favorite... don't know exactly why, I've always just like his personality in general, but not as much as James after the part where he attacks Snape.

I really like Sirius Black. . . something about him just makes me shiver inside. Maybe it's that sexy motorbike or the rugged yet playful quality to him. Plus I love dogs. Remus Lupin is a close second, oddly enough. And yes, I am a fan of the Shoebox Project :p

Sirius by far. Granted he may not have been the nicest person as a boy (well from what we've seen so far I get the feeling they did a lot of growing up in the last two years) he seemed to have the most fun.

I would have to say Sirius. I love his anamagi, the big black dog, and I just love him. He's witty, funny, and a troublemaker.

Mine is Remus because I like my men a little hairy. Okay, that was a bad joke.

My votes went to James and Sirius, because they were both the biggest mischief makers out of the Marauders. They were a little bit crazy, both were extremely arrogant and full of themselves, and I just love the way they tormented Snape. Basically, they're the kind of guys that I want to date. Haha.

Remmie for me. I feel me and him have some stuff in common. I'm just not a werewolf. :p

Remus! He's always been one of my favorite characters, and I almost always like the "brains of the group" best.

I'd like to change my choice a bit. Remus is my new favorite because of how he reminds me of myself. James reminds me of who I used to be back when I was thirteen and Sirius is the person I want to be (x.x)

Sirius all the way, man! He's just so...blunt. I love it when he is mentioned in the books because it's never boring, and RPing him is three times as fun! James is my other favorite. I love RPing James too, but he's such a prick that you either love him or hate him.

I voted for Lupin because he was my absolute favorite marauder.

James and Sirius were okay and I liked the fact that they were like mischevious troublemakers. But, Lupin was the studious type and the prefect and was such an honest character. So, I liked him the best.

Remus is my favourite marauder and my favourite character overall...he justs wins in general <3. Don't you just wanna hug him? Plus werewolves rule.

I did however vote for Remus. Because he seemed the only...Real, one of the bunch. And I mean that in the sense of, he just seemed to kinda tag along while Sirius and James instigated all sorts of mean things and mischeif.

Anyways, I voted Remus because we got to know him the best really. I was thinking it over as I read this topic and thinking about how little we really got to know the rest of them. It was sad really. I wasn't a big fan of the clips they portrayed of James as an arrogant ass. He seems too different from the man I picture as Harry's father. And Sirius, I loved him to death, but there was just something about Remus that grabs me. He so truthful and a real teacher of others and I love that. He also went out of his way to keep his friends out of trouble and I admire that.
