Title: Jcink Skins
Description: Just in case...

Remus Asriel - February 28, 2010 07:06 AM (GMT)
I'm planning on changing hosts from Proboards to Jcink for my RP, and I was just wondering, how easy would it be to get Jcink skins. I've seen the skins they offer in the AP, and they...don't fit the theme of my RP very well. Is there any other skin source besides Jcink Support and Resource Board (and RPG-D, of course)?

And as Jcink uses IPBFree software, I presume IPBFree skins would work on Jcink right? If so, where can I find a good resource for IPBFree skins?

And now that we're in the issue of skinning, how easy is it to skin Jcink or IPBFree? Any Jcink or IPBFree admins care to share their thoughts on this? Thanks!

I have skinned for IF, which is the same for iPBfree and only slightly different than jcink. All IF skins will work on iPBfree and jcink, though you have to slightly alter the Header/Body and Footer of the IF/iPBfree into one form for the jcink.

I've never skinned for PB, so I don't know how they all differ. But it's pretty easy to skin IF, and I have a guide in the skinning area.

there are more graphics oriented boards like caution and rcr that offer skins.

Those three hosts use the same software--IPB v1.3 Final.
