Mythical Lands RPG is a role playing site for all. Hello hello! If you're looking for some original Sci-fi set in the future I'll offer Babylon 2.0 as that's exactly what we are. We've been open for a month now with steady activity and a small but welcoming group of players. The board is also semi-collaborative, which means member input toward umbrella plots and setting expansion is welcome and encouraged. So! London, 2012
In a top secret underground bunker known as 'The Vault', a Government experiment has escaped. Project Apollo. Few within The Vault knew what he was and those who did were too afraid to tell anyone else. And now he is loose. Wandering the streets of London as Government officials try to bring him back in.
But the Government was hiding him for the publics own good. Well, that would be there point of view. But he is not unique and now people all over the world are discovering unknown abilities, but they too are being hunted down.
Carl Benham, a typical Londoner. Lives in Fulham, works in Westminster. One day changed his life forever. One day, he discovered he could breath underwater. But 'officials' were on his tail. They knew who he was because they had given him this power. When he was only a baby.
Carl was killed. Swiftly and silently, but now people who have been given abilities are discovering what they are, they're only advantage is that the officials in the vault don't know when the powers will manifest. But they know who they have given powers to.
But Project Apollo is also on their trail. He wants to recruit them to bring down the vault, to stop the work going on their. It's only a matter of time before he amasses a group strong enough, but will the Vault be able to take them out before it's too late?

Remnants of the Earth is an original dystopian sci-fi fantasy game where magic and technology collides. Why do we rock? Let us list the ways!
- We've got four gritty countries ranging from a military dictatorship run by dragons and the humans they're bonded with to space stations populated by pirates, plus one wicked corporation that's got its fingers in all the pies.
- Espionage, motorcycle racing, pop stars, Amish-like communities, slave abolitionists, spin the bottle, and pie. Yep. Lots of pie. <3 In other words, a nice mixture of dark, serious plots interspersed with fun, light-hearted ones.
- A wonderful community with friendly players, awesome writers, and interesting character dynamics!
- Blessedly short apps/profiles, meant to appeal to both players who prefer to fill out an app upfront and those that prefer to develop their characters through play.
- No word minimums; quality over quantity.
- PBs optional, not required; you may use art or photography.
- A dedicated player base minus the cliques.
- A player-driven game where what you do actually affects the plot, and a world that is constantly developing and growing.
- A community that's been going strong since September of 2007. Srsly, we ain't no one-month game.

Up In Arms isn't quite original, because we're based on the Freedom series by Anne McCaffrey, but because of the way it's run we're so close to original you can barely tell ;)

Though my forum was originally only Naruto oriented, we added on a secondary RP that's built from the ground up to be set in an original world... The link is in my sig.
Project NITRO:
Whomever visit's Falling Dusk will notice the sections dedicated to "Project Nitro". Allow me to explain. Before Falling Dusk, there was a forum named Frozen Abyss. Frozen Abyss had an original styled roleplay that me, and some former members of it really liked. We took the concepts, ideas and general theme of the roleplay and added it to Falling Dusk as an additional Roleplay for anyone not into Naruto.
It's genre is a weird one: Futuristic fantasy. Combining concepts of traditional fantasy and science fiction, Project Nitro was born. Set in the world of Shinkou Yochi, You can become one of it's inhabitants and have your own story unfold as a mysterious force runs rampant. Each continent is it's own country, each with it's own background, culture, people and technology. Each country is based on an element, mostly because of the climate and landscape. The levels of technology also vary, from simple, tools, buildings and culture to technology more advanced then the real world of today. many different races exist. From the overly common Humans, to the Demonic inhabitants of Kurai. Project Nitro wishes to become one of the best roleplays on the net, and using a system of user generated content, we hope to become somewhat original too.

Briefly about the setting:
The year is 2408. The Romulan Star Empire is in ruins. Since the destruction of Romulus, the worlds of the former empire have fragmented. Some worlds have rebuilt. Other have descended into chaos. One thing is for certain, the balance of power has shifted, and now the Federation and Klingon Empire both try to capitalize on these changes.
Starbase Prime has been built to extend Starfleet’s influence in the former Romulan territories. Among the Starbases duties are to protect civilian shipping, provide humanitarian relief to impoverished Romulan planets, and to keep the Klingon Empire at bay.
About the game:
The game is shared by three ships, playing in the same universe and hence in the same episode (even if we have different plotlines). The idea is to play in a world bigger than the walls within one ship. Main focus on this game is character development, but the plot development is just as important. Like most Star Trek games we write in episodes, each episode presenting a new main plot idea. These plots ideas are planned in the community, so suggestions and ideas are very much welcomed. Arc-driven plots are also welcomed.

We are a PBB game but we store all our information on the site. The site is currently a SMS site but it will be upgraded to the new NOVA within a month, containing a wiki interface to the site and capability of linking multiple characters to your site account. Many positions are available as we just opened the game.
You can join the adventures of the USS Vanguard, flagship of Starbase Prime, as a starfleet officer. The Vanguard will maintain order at all costs.
Or join the crew of the civilian ship Risky Venture, for lucrative trade into the Romulan territories; legal or otherwise.
And there is also the IKV Azetbur. It’s mission to ensure Klingon dominance and counter Starfleet’s influence in the region. Fighting for the Klingon Empire, no longer tolerating weak humans.
Will the Beta Quadrant descend into war, or will peace prevail? I guess we will found out. .. ;)
