My name is Meg. I'm a 20-year-old college student, formerly majoring in Elementary Education (minor: Special Education), but now I'm in Early Childhood Education. I'm an American trying to be Canadian; my boyfriend is Canadian, and I'd rather be on the Canadian side than the American side. Canadians are so much nicer. And they don't allow smoking in public places. And health care is freeish, but...not for me. Yet. D: Sooo, yeah, I'm living in Ontario.
I've been admin on three or so sites before my current one, and I've been roleplaying since I was 11ish. I'm not super, but I'm okay. I've always been more of a lurker until recently, though. I've been with the same group of people for yeearrss now, moving from site to site as our previous admins defected. Hopefully we'll stay stationary for a bit, being that I'm admin now. :)
I thiiink that's about it, hehe. Good to be here. ;D
Welcome to RPG-D, Meg!
Education is quite the honorable career track to take. I don't think I could ever do it, but it's good to see that there are people who will. xD
Canada seems like an awesome place, so woot to living there! I heard it's really difficult to get citizenship there, though, so D: to that. Anyway, I hope you find everything you're looking for here and I wish you all the success with your RPG. If you ever need help with anything, my PM box is always open and we have a great group of members, so feel free to chat or ask questions in the c-box. Hope to see you around!
Hello, Meg! Welcome to RPG-D!
Hope you have a wonderful time here. ;D
Thanks very much! Everyone seems so friendly here, hehe.
I need to have lived in Canada for at least 2 years to even qualify for citizenship, pass a test, and do a couple other things. It would be really awful if my boyfriend wasn't Canadian; once we get married, I can apply for permanent residency, which would probably help. Otherwise, I don't even think I'd even be able to live here unless I had family here or had a job offering or something. D:
