Short description of Board: This site is a completely original Final Fantasy Rp where members are free to start their own story. We have everything that Final Fantasy is known for and we're looking for new ideas to add every day.
Analysis Notes: I would really like you guys to look at the whole picture. Also, what information am I missing that might be impertenant for a new character to know. What questions do you still have after reading the info that I have or that it looks like I will have eventually.

Just a warning, I know nothing about FF. At all. That's either a good or a bad thing for this, I'm not sure yet.

Appearance and Organization: Oh please please please! Get sidebar images. Just little ones, only text at the top of every sidebar box. PLEASE. lol. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the header! It's so cool, and it really makes the site. But the lack of sidebar images is kind of a downer. But all your information on the sidebar works with the site... I'm not a fan of the cbox your using, it doesn't really go with the site. I'd trade the black for a dark blue. And add the music thing before you open, but other then that I like it.

Forums descriptions are a MUST. I know they're pointless and no one really looks at them, but it really adds to a site because it makes it look like you've thought a lot about the site. People like to see that on your sites, so... I know it sucks to have to make them, but do it. It'll help you in the long run. I'm guessing you'll be adding more places to rp in, so I'm not going to say anything there... I'd almost say put images in the description there. Pictures of the places would go really well with this site.

Informational Topics:
Difference between us and the games- Oo! Good! This will help people that know about final fantasy. This is definitely a plus. I also like the bullets, they're also a plus. I would put a space between each one though, just because it would make them look less cramped. Enter bar definitely.

Plot-

You're changing that right?
In general it's a good plot, but it really caters to the people that actually have played Final Fantasy. I would add more things that would explain what's going on to people that haven't played Final Fantasy. But then again, maybe you don't want people to join that have no idea about final fantasy. It's not a huge deal, I'm sure there are a lot more people that have played it then haven't.

Rules-

There's a good reason for this, but it's not going to happen once your site gets bigger. There's going to be mess up, and first names? That's a little tough on people. It's just a personal thing for me to not like this though, it's not going to detract from the site.

You don't believe in setting them... but you kind of just did. lol

World info- This to me is your redeeming factor about the site. It's got everything. The only thing I don't really like about it is that there is A LOT to read. If you're goign to get people to read it, then you may need to step up the graphics a bit. But then again, I haven't played FF so I don't know how big of a following it has. I feel like it has a huge following from what I've heard, so a lot of people will already know all this stuff. So they won't have to read it.

Board Strengths: I think you have a great start! So far it seems like there's a lot of information for people that don't know what they're doing, and the headers are to die for.

Board Weaknesses: You need sidebar images just to round out the whole site. And I would also say edit the cbox codes so that matches... And maybe change the plot just a bit so everyone else can get an idea what the plot is on rather then just assuming it's the same as the normal FF that they've played.

Staff: To be honest, I didn't see much of anybody but you. That's a turn off for me. Not see any posts from your other admins makes me think that they aren't working, so at least them them post some of the informational things, and then it'll look more rounder.

General: Well you haven't really gotten to the point where there was a lot to critique so this is a pretty short critique for me. I like where you're going, it's pretty cool and seems to be like it's going on the right track. You seem to cater towards the people that have played FF, which makes sense because that's the kind of board it is. But I would also suggest being careful there, because you want other people to join that aren't FF buffs. There's a fine line to walk in this case, but I think you're off to a really good start! :]
