things get stuck in peoples brains all the time.
people don't usually have their 106th grandkid.
8 children.
33 grandkids.
61 great-grandchildren.
11 great-great grandchildren.

.____. Woah. That's a huge family.
I just hope I live long enough to see my grandchildren get married/have kids. XD That's amazing, really.

Yeah, me too. I also hope I have kids in time for them to meet and remember their grandparents. xD
That's crazy, but awesome.

Wow....I thought I had a big family. Geez! I could not imagine that many kiddos running about.

I actually know a family who is that big. My stepdad is one of 7 kids and his parents don't even know how many 'grandkids' they have altogether, it's that huge.

Ditto the above. Mum comes from a family of nine, so our family is huge. I keep discovering new cousins all the time... it's nuts. Similar sort of thing on my Dad's side, too. Makes for fun and interesting family events, and the best part is that if you don't like someone - you honestly don't have to have anything to do with them. :D

Lulz. I have a big family, too, but we don't really talk at all. I've had cousins add me on facebook or myspace and go, "hey, cuz!" and i'm just, like, "er... do I know you?" x.x
So yeah, I know the big family deal, but I don't think mine is this big.

Ehhh. Let me think. My grandma:
9 kids (2 deceased)
13 grandkids
3 great-grandkids
Not as impressive as that one but not bad nonetheless. XD

Some people need to chill the **** out with their multiplying. It's not like they're making the world a better place.

Depends on the context.
Since you didn't specify, I assume by this that you mean people these days need to chill out with having kids - and in some cases, I really have to agree with you. -.- There's one girl I went to school with who's 21 and just had her third child (and in my opinion, they shouldn't let her have any more, but that's a whole other story...) but even my brother and sister-in-law have had three, and they're only 26.
Of course, in the 'olden' days when my grandparents and great-grandparents were young and frisky, there wasn't much you could do to avoid having kids unless you abstained full stop... the Pill wasn't introduced until the 60s, and abortion wasn't legalised in England until 1967 (that is, if I've interpreted it correctly). And then of course, before that, condoms weren't necessarily easy to get your hands on, there were baby booms after men returned from the war, there was no television to entertain you (my step-father regularly informs me that this was one of the main reasons, but I tend not to listen to him -.-) and the infant mortality rate was higher so people had more children just in case some didn't survive (mind you, I am thinking early 20th century here). My great-grandfather on my mum's side was one of thirteen, and I think the same was true of my great-grandmother on that side. And I guess to a certain extent it depended on your social status too... most upperclass families would stop after one or two kids because it showed refinement (i.e. not giving into carnal desires), or if they were 'lucky' enough to have a male heir near enough straightaway, while lower-class families needed the extra hands for work.
But yeah, I deviate from the point... you can tell I got my history exam results back today! >.<
