Information:

Children in Dyanne, a village deep in the Karani Desert, enter a day school at the age of five. On the eve of a child’s 12th birthday a celebration is thrown for them and family traditions are carried out (there are a few common ones in which most families in the village partake). On the child’s birthday they are mentally tested. If the child passes the main points of the tests they are sent on their First Task. First Tasks are tradition and are the same for each child though each finds different obstacles along the way. Then if the First Task is completed the child enters a time of relaxing and reflecting during which they are not allowed to leave the village or attend school. The first night of this period a member of the village visits the child’s home and tells them a location and time to meet there. When this date and time is reached three children meet up and become a trio under the same village member who came to their door. On the same day the children meet the other members of their trio they are informed of their classes. Their new classes are much more physical, but have mental elements, and are in a different building than before. Their new classes cover survival skills, archery, a sort of stick combat, tracking, and orienteering.

All children are able at some point to have magical ability and the ability to become an animal, but that comes later.

This is the beginning, the first series of events a character goes through. I have left out quite a bit of detail as well as all of the history. The children at this point have no magical power and are not expected to develop any. From this point on abilities become complicated. I have typed it all out, but it is too much to post here.

I need an administrator for each of these categories; skin designer and graphics maker. Administrators must have MSN or AIM and will be given all mod and admin powers once the board is created.

For the roleplay to begin I hope to reach a minimum of 12 students who are about to turn twelve and 4 teachers.

The forum is unlikely to open right away, but with the right admins it might just happen.
