Time on the Internet?

I was browsing some forum I was advertising on... And saw a thread of this nature. How long do you spend on the internet?

Me? Alot, most of the evening on a week day, and all day saturday, and as soon as I get back from work on sunday. Only time this is untrue is when I go band practice, or some get together/party or trip.

The longest time I've be on a computer (with break for lunch and dinner, no breakfast) is about 16-17 hours. Which was a saturday, but lately no more than 15. Neary 15 hours one saturday was Skyping, yah! Who else has had a skype/phone call that long? lol.

So, Time on the Internet? :D

Well, because of the fact that the computer distracts me, I'm not allowed on the internet during the week, but...I manage. *grin*

But when I can get on, I'm on all the time. Like...hours on end. That's usually when my parents aren't home because they'll usually kick me off after an hour. They know how addicted I can get. ^^

LOL! I couldnt live without the comp for weekdays lol.

My parents are like, 'shouldn't you come of there?'
A simple reply..
'No.'

Eventually of course my mother will kick me off after bout 6 hours, but my dad will let me get away with anything lol. Hence the insane times lol :D

Welll... I go crazy after more than two hours of sitting around. Even if I'm online, I'm standing up and pacing every once and a while. I have too much energy. Sooo... usually I get on when I'm tired.

Too much time I spend on Internet XD. Well, you can say that the times Andy have are the times I have lol. Seeing we are almost always on at the same times.

After I come home from school I go on the comp, after I come home from work I go on the comp, after I wake up on a free day I come on the comp XD. Sometimes my father is getting a little annoyed with me I spend so much time in front of this thing, I can't blame him. But then again, he can't demand that I sit downstairs all the time watching at that dumb tv. Like your doing anything better then sitting infront of the comp. He knows this, but still likes to whine now and then. My mother is fine with it although she sometimes goes like, 'shouldn't you do this or something?' XD

I really can't help spending so much time on the computer. I find myself not addicted to this thing. It only is interesting, mainly because I have a great forum going on, a great RPG that popped from our brains and simply because my friends are on the other side of my computer instead of in my town. If I hadn't so much good (and one very special) online friends, I also wouldn't spend so much time on here. When I went to Paris this week, I didn't miss the computer, only the people on the other side ^_^. I mean, if I could communicate with a tv with my online friends, then I would be sitting infront of the tv. So I blame my online friends, because they are addicting XD

Gak, I spend waaay too much time on the net, its like my whole life is the internet. Mum wonders about me a lot. But when I do get a social life, she goes insane when I come back, trashed out of my head. xD. The most I have spent on the net, was probably the whole day, from like 7 in the morning, to 7 the next morning . . .i'm SUCH a nerd. :rolleyes:

2 hours every week day (not including friday).Friday its 5 hours. Saterday is up when ever i decide to actually do my homework. And Sunday is church

School days: 2-3 hours

Weekends/Holidays: 5+

Unhealthy, maybe. Enjoyable, most definately.

I’m on the computer most of the time, if I’m not at college or out with friends—which is most of the time since I leave nowhere near any friends. :rolleyes: Usually I’ll stay online most or all Saturday, unless I have something to do—work, friends to go see, shopping or something of that nature—and then Sunday I usually spend half the day online and half the day finishing up last minute homework. Monday to Friday I probably spend a good three to four hours online, perhaps more depending what I feel like doing; if things are a little slow I might end up reading a magazine or something instead, or might even retreat back to the homework.

Despite the fact that I’m online a lot, I can never sit still… I’m always doing something or other, whether it’s just drumming my fingers or swivelling on my chair, and sometimes I’ll steal the dog’s tennis ball and just sit throwing that up and down idly. I tend to get up and move around the room randomly a lot, or I’ll run up and down the stairs under the pretence of getting some water or a snack. I don’t like sitting still, and if I watch the same screen for too long my eyes will begin to hurt. :P

I would willing spend all my time on the comp, if the fact that some-thing was going on. On a regular week i would spend about.... hm...
let me see 3:10- 9:30 on a weekday, so thats about 6:20s, times that by 5, and you are looking at 31 hours on a weekday, then add most of saturday, so thats about 14 hours, so thats 45 hours, and then add 12 for sunday... lol i psend about 57 hours a week on the comp :o

Hehe, I think I'll have to start doing that, keep record of how long I'm on the computer for a whole week XD. Would be fun, anyway, yesterday I was online for 15 hours and 15 minutes, yes precisely. Because that was Andy's and mine new Skype Record.

Heh. Well, I'm on for about 4 hours weekdays, and 10 hours weekends ;) Still haven't broken your record, ShinLi!

Usually like three hours a day, but not as much on the weekends.

I've never actually bothered to find out how many hours I spend on the internet. My computer has broadband, so it's usually on all day. And I pop on from time to time (and to those I sometimes leave hanging on msn - I'm so sorry...I really don't mean to).

I'm usually on at night time for prolonged amounts of time though. Mainly because night-time TV isn't very interesting.

Friday was the lowest ever XD. I came home round 10 in the evening. And when I started up the comp I almost fell asleep already. I've been on for an hour? Not more XD. So one hour and then I went to bed lol.

At least 12 hours a day.
Wow, I know.
But I have no life, and I'm always busy with stuff whenever I get online, like graphics or something.

_{I spend entirely too much time on the net but I blame broadband. I can't even log onto my computer to write an essay without getting distracted and hopping onto an RPG or graphics site! I'm so bad. I suppose I spend a good few hours a day on here, when I'm not at college or studying or in my friend's house, but I'm so bad that if I do those things, I usually end up coming online late at night to check stuff out. My life is pretty much spent on the internet. My school is based online, so I sit there during school days, doing my school work. Then after school, I'm not allowed to go out on weekdays, so I spend time on the internet then. And then on weekends, when I don't have anything else to do, I get online. So yeah. Pretty much all my time is spent online unless I'm sleeping, using the bathroom, or eating. Actually, sometimes I play on my computer when I'm eating. Geeeez. XD

Lol! New Skype record for me and ShinLi on saturday lol. I got up at on Skype at 8:30, and said goodbye and closed the program at 00:25, so yah 15 hours and 55 minutes. ^_^

I use the internet anytime I want. Even if I have homework. I dunno how long I use the internet but it's a long time!

Wow! And I thought that I was crazy when it came to spending time on the ol' internet! ;lol; The longest time I've ever been on would be about 9 hours, but you could say 7 because I forgot it was on for 2. XD

Yeah... I spend way too much time on the internet. My friends at school are always like, what are you doing? And I just smile because I'll never tell them about my rping...

I go on it when I should be doing homework, or studying like right now! I have finals starting Thursday. AUGH!

Alot, cause I write and surf the net and the same time...most of my free time is spent on the internet specially during the winter..cause it's so cold and I wanna stay inside.

Well, for me, as long as I finish revising and studying, then I'm allowed to use the computer till a time where I get back pain. HAha. But the longest I ever went online, to be honest, 48 hours non-stop. I actually disconnected my modem on the 48th HOUR! HAhah. Was counting down the last 5 seconds. Hahah.

I'd say atm because I'm finished college and have no job yet I'm on the comp between 12 and 15 hours a day quite easily. Which is disturbing when you think about it. And really quite amazing that I can actually be entertained by my computer for that long, lol

My time on the 'net used to be limited to whenever mom felt nice enough to let me on the desktop pc, but as of last christmas (when I got my <33 smexayy notebook pc), I've been practically glued to it! I've considered getting two cords for it so I can keep one in my room for when I want to go on it and lay on my bed and one for in the living room so I can watch TV while going on it. But moving the cord is easy, it's just that I'm too lazy to unplug it sometimes. xD

I was on it from ten thirty this morning till now... so that's twelve hours, and I'll probably be on it a lot later tonight. But I did go to they gym for a bit, so I'm not that much of a computer addict. =]

Before I started high school, I could spend 13 hours on the computer.

But now, my mom limits my time, so I can't spend more than 8 hours on at a time, and I have to be off by midnight.

I usally spend 6-14 hours on the interenet everyday... Heh, I have no life.

I spend a pretty obscene amount of time online-- but I seem to have so many committments (and I just can't stay away from my most favorite online friends :P). So usually during the week I spent like 4-5 hours a night online, but that'll probably change next year. Saturdays usually all day unless I had some other committment and then on Sundays it was mostly half the day then the rest during homework or feeling guilty about putting it off because I was glued to the screen :P.

I speak in the past tense because now that it's summer vacation I spend from morning till night on this thing! Except when it gets slow (and ya know, I guess I have to eat food too). My mom has been frowning at me for years about it (she's convinced its a bad influence-- and makes me too skinny -rollseyes-).

From Dawn till Dusk... it is summer and there isn't anything else to do.

Uhh, well, during school I get on the computer and have breaks for dinner and homework. On weekends I'm on almost all the time if I'm not busy with friends or other activities.

The longest time would have to be eightteen hours straight, save for bathroom breaks and minimal snack breaks :P:

Well, I usually spend about......oh my goodness. I just realized.......I spent I think.....3 to 4 hours a day. And that's on the forum alone....

If uninterrupted, I may spend a solid 4-6 hours on the internet, maybe even 8 or 9.

I spend about 3-4 hours on the internet. Alas, I am not as addicted to the internet as I used to be. I used to spend 8 hours nearly every day on the internet, like some of you cool people. But, now that I'm in High School and can drive, I find it a bit more entertaining to hang with my friends. Right now, I just came back from vacation and I'm getting over a fever, so no going out until I'm better. [[:
