Information:

"Pirates of the Caribbean: A Dying Breed" is based upon the hit Disney movie trilogy, which, in turn, is based off the classic Disneyland attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean. It is set as if the movies have never occured, a fashion which I have seen used on a few other sites which seemed to work wonders for them. The beginning plot introduces Jack Sparrow, the Commodore of the British Royal Navy, and the President of the East India Trading Company in a clash of powers as Sparrow gets caught in Port Royale.

I am the Pirate Admin, Jack Sparrow. I, basically, control all of the pirate players in that it is my job to moderate them and make sure they are not breaking the rules. I also must moderate their applications and accept or deny them. I, however, only have control over the pirate players.

The EITC Admin will have control over all of the East India Trading Company players, and it is preferred if this admin would play the character of Cutler Beckett, the president of the company in the movie Dead Man's Chest.

The Navy admin will have the same powers as previous, save over the Navy Players. We would prefer it if the person who plays this would play James Norrington.

Same as above with the Independant; we ask this be Weatherby Swann.

Graphics Admin will rule over the graphics area and be responsible for making subboards for graphics shops, making sure all graphics rules are followed, and making sure graphics are made in a quick but satisfactory manner.

Why?: I really think I would enjoy playing this role. Commodore Norrington is such a complex character and I think I would enjoy portraying him and the changes his service in the Caribbean will make in him. I'm a fan of PotC as well as Master and Commander. I read alot of books set in the period of PotC all the way to the Napoleonic era, so I am familiar with the subject matter.

Captain Norrington stood on the deck of his ship, HMS Dauntless, and stared at Port Royale just visible on the horizon. His coming promotion was a source of great pride to him. His orders from the Lords of Admiralty were clear: Upon your promotion, take charge of the Naval station at Port Royale and suppress piracy in all its forms wherever it may be found in Caribbean waters.

Over the last few weeks, he had been amazingly successful. Several of the less...'skilled' pirates had already fallen victim to the power of the Dauntless or her fleeter partner, the Interceptor. Still, the fact that many of the more notorious pirates still eluded him was cause for concern.

He firmly put aside such worries. There were few ships, some say none, that could outfight the Dauntless or outrun the Interceptor. In time, the Royal Navy, under his leadership, will dominate these waters.

His mind turned to his current personal obsession and object of desire: Elizabeth Swann. Suddenly, the self assured Naval Commander was a nervous wreck. His professional achievements, though indeed significant, were overshadowed by the emptiness of his personal life. Hopefully, that would all change along with his promotion.
