Title: Christmas!
Insomnium - December 19, 2006 11:08 PM (GMT)
Sorry if this thread has been made already... :erm: I didn't see one sooo...
Merry Christmas to all of you that celebrate it! And happy anything else to those of you that don't!
It's almost here, and I don't know about you... but I've been counting the days! (I'm also excited that school is out for almost three weeks!) I am staying at home as usual, but on break I will probably go to the movies several times and eat too much chocolate. :)
So, what are you planning for Christmas? Do you celebrate something different this time of year? Do you like Christmas cards (serious question, I collect mine)? Do any of you know crazy Christmas fanatics like my mom?

A similar topic was started, but this seems to roll numerous into one… Hmm... I have quite a busy Christmas, as always… Since my parents split. On Christmas Eve I’ll be at my Granddads, with all my family and my step dad’s kids and my cousins… WE won’t be their Christmas day because my granddad wants to be alone –long story- and we will open our annual day early Christmas present. The on Christmas I will be at my dads in the morning, my mums in the late morning early afternoon and then my boyfriend’s house late afternoon, over night. On Boxing Day… I’m working :(

Urm... this may seem like a silly question... what's Boxing Day?

Oh, gosh, where are you from… I didn’t know nobody had it… loll…. To be honest I’m not exactly sure where it started, but it is just like an extended day on Christmas… I researched it for you and came back with this…
‘The first weekday after Christmas, celebrated as a holiday in parts of the British Commonwealth, when Christmas gifts are traditionally given to service workers.’ But we don’t use it like that anymore, my family use it as another day to pig out and watch rubbish films.

I am going to visit family in Spain! I'm so excited! <33
I love Christmas! I am totally 100% a Christmas fanatic; I decorated our whole house by myself and I bought the prettiest cards for all my friends (expensive but worth it). I sound like a loser, but I love doing all the little stuff like that... :] & of course, I have quite a few boxes under the tree, so I love that. ;D

Wow. I want to go somewhere like Spain! We're going next door.... XD
However, my Brazilian neighbors throw fantastic parties.

Learn something new everyday.

Merry Christmas! I can't believe it's here already, it hasn't felt like Christmas yet at all :(
There's like a 0.2342457 chance that we'll have snow on Christmas. That depresses me :(

it is the day after Christmas, I think that was what Boxing Day used to be.

Me too! I live in Maine - MAINE! We're supposed to be freezing cold and getting snow! But instead it's in the 40s and will be all weekend long. I'm not a huge fan of the cold, but I love snow and a white Christmas is a must. -sob-
Yay presents! Every year I allow myself to know one present. I sneak into my parents room and see what is unwrapped -cackle-. I swear I'm 1.6 16.

Ah. I doubt that it will snow for me. x.x More likely it'll pour down rain like none other. I hate rain. a lot. It's so gloomy and depressing. Not to mention, how my Dad doesn't like to vacuum up the little pine needles that come off of the Christmas tree.
We have an artificial one!
LAME.

Merry Christmas to all y'all! I'm going to Talledega and spending Christmas with my aunt and my favorite cousins! They just got a new house! I know it's going to beat the trailer they used to live in...If we're lucky, we'll have a white Christmas, but we live in Alabama, so I doubt it.

I totally know where you're coming from. I'm from Minnesota and we just have freezing drizzle and fog. -_- Blah.
Merry Christmas everbody, nonetheless! =D
