I've been role playing since fourth grade myself (neopets xD) so that's about eight years already. Hehe, when I first started I felt so weird because all of my friends were about sixteen. My birthday was kind of exciting this year, because I feel as if I've finally stopped being the baby for once in my life

two years, well roughly because i don't really know when i started as i didn't really know what it was at the time.

Technically, I started at about 11 or 12 and I'm 18 now, so 6-7 years, but I took a few breaks in between so I'd say about 5.

I clicked 6 years because I know it's been at least that, but after checking my neopets account (I cannot believe it's still there), the registration date was May 16, 2002 and roleplaying was all I used it for. And then I went to IF from there.

So I'm going on eight years next may. =O

Eight years. I can't believe it's been so long. Seems like just yesterday I was getting started in my first game on Yahoo!Groups.

This summer will mark the 10 year anniversary of when I started RPing. I had some downtime, but it was minimal so I'll stick with 10 years.

omg ... I just hit ten years. I started when I was 12, and well, I just turned 22 today so woohoo for ten year anniversary!

I've been roleplaying since I was 11ish. I started on Neopets, where I entered the roleplaying forum because I wanted to know what roleplaying was. My first roleplay was a generic fantasy. I believe I was a redheaded fire sorceress with a giant black panther as a pet. Her name was Flames. After that, I joined a Cats vs. Dogs roleplay after the movie Cats & Dogs came out. I was a cat, of course. A Russian Blue named Tasha. I remember it took them forever to let me join, because I had to be in their guild and they weren't accepting members for a while. It was very intense.

Definitely over ten years. I think I was around 10-11 when I first started roleplaying. Way back on AOL 3.0 when Rhy'din was the place to be, lol.

Five years. I did RP for a month on Avid Gamers back in 2002 because my friend ran a site, but I quit shortly after the site died and didn't return to RPing until 2005.

For me, about 11 or 10 years... I started when I was ten or eleven (way too young, if you ask me) and I'm 21 now. Not sure on the exact dates, so I couldn't tell you for sure.

Actively Role-playing? about 3 - I've played MMOs and designed my own computer games all before then, so I've always kept my creative mind open. I did a little role-play back who knows when, but there was large gap so I didn't count it.

Still looking for just that perfect place... Or to turn my own forum into that, which is also a goal @_@ recently left two forums, and two are under ideal activity levels.

10 + years.

Started role playing before I even knew what it was called.... I've had countless characters, countless games and I didn't actually realize it was over 10 years till I tried to count. Wow. I feel old.

Five years for me; I started when I was thirteen. I look back on my role plays from those days and laugh.
