OrangeCountyRPG - December 12, 2006 12:33 AM (GMT)
Genre: Real Life
Difficulty: Moderate
Type(s) of Creature(s): Young Adults
Preferred Rating: Teen or mature
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: something active atleast 10 to 15 active members
Preferred Time where RPG is set in:
Present or future
Other Notes:I’m addicted to drama like the OC. I would love to join an Orange County based site or something close to it. Anything is ok as long as there is a good original plot or something interesting. I like playing cannons so if there is any cannons left would also be a good thing.

Candlelight Whispers

I iz Maki - December 29, 2006 02:40 AM (GMT)
the site has no canons, and it wa just revamped tonight so the activity is a work in progress. Even though there are no canons, your character can be sorted into groups that make it canon in a way. Yeah, I'm probably not exlaining it very well.

It's about a mental institution, so I'd say it's pretty dramatic without subplots.

Anything But Ordinary

I see your face with every punch I take,
and every bone I break, it's all for you.
And my worst pains are words I cannot say,
still I will always fight on for you.

Locksely Preparatory Academy has been known for producing the finest men and women that society has to offer. Dozens of elite youngsters are sent here by their parents for nine months a year so that they may be molded and honned into what can only described as well-bred and dignified. It is no easy task to enter it's hallowed grounds. One must either have the financial advantage, an above than average intellect or impressive family connections.
    The Goslings
The Goslings are by far the richest and most prominent family that Winthrop has to offer. Their lineage can be traced back to the original settlers of the colony and have been rich longer as they have been there. Their family has been in Locksley since it's establishment and that is saying a lot. They are also one of the primier benefactors of the school and thus are very important to its functioning.

    The Davenports
The only family that has ever rivaled the Goslings in power and prestige is the family of the Davenports. Also coming from old money, the Davenports never bowed down to the 'Gosling Superiority' and thus has an on going fued with them. Davenports have never been known to be subtle. They show no inkling of backing down in the fight.

    The Hunts
The Hunts are a wealthy family that moved from England not some ten years ago. They are known to be one of the finest wine conossieurs in both Europe and America. Aside from their extensive vineyards in Italy, they also own quite a number in the Napa Valley, thus the very reason why its children are in Locksley. The patriarch of the Hunt family dumped his children in the Academy in hopes that they will be well taken care of in his increasingly often absence.

    The Worthingtons
The Worthingtons are, by far, the culture center of Winthrop. Because of their multiple connections in the Arts and the World of fashion, members of this family are known to be the most prim and elegant ladies around. Yes, the Worthingtons have always been famous for its well mannered ladies, often called the trophy wives of their time.
Everything in Locksley revolves around family connections. You either sink or swim in this school, but you never get out of the water. This is far from the real world. This is Locksley.

Eh. It's an OC one, but it' was just created today.

"The O.C. - also known as Orange County, California - is an idyllic paradise, a wealthy, harbour-front community where everything and everyone appears to be perfect. But beneath the surface is a world of shifting loyalties and identities, of kids living secret lives hidden from their parents, and of parents living secret lives hidden from their children” [T.v.com]

Ryan Atwood has learned over time that he has forever changed the lives of the Newport residents he has come in contact with having seen it in his coma-dream-like fantasy dealing with the struggles of his deceased girlfriend. Now he’s just a regular guy trying to keep his foot in the world working and being the son that the Cohens could be proud of, along with being a brother to Seth. Still things aren’t easy for the guy having to deal with putting himself out there looking for new romance. Just when he finally thinks he’s got something no matter how bizarre the opposites attract thing is, it’s broken. Poof. Be gone like. With the break up from Taylor he’s off to win hear back and muster out those three little words that are in dyer need to keep her in his life. Will he make it in time before Taylor’s off to god knows where doing god knows what and with who? The girl falls easily after all, she could be married again by the time Ryan grows a pair!

As for the plastic horse couple, no not Captain Oats and Princess Sparkles, but Seth and Summer the two are left to pick up the pieces of their broken engagement. Seth dealing with rejection and Summer trying to find her true identity, every couple has their problems, but the strongest ones fight it through by the end of the day and realize they click. Are Seth and Summer that strong?

As the new generation sits in Kaitlin Cooper finds herself in her sister’s old world battling the typical cliques of high school, but this Cooper isn’t the star excellence student as her sister was. She’s not into the whole charity benefit thing and on the borderline in passing most of her classes. She’s developed an image as the bad kind of girl and intends on maintaining it till…..a guy steps into her life. Isn’t that how it always is? Girl meets boy, girl likes boy, boy changes girls’ life. It isn’t any different when Kaitlin develops a little crush on the band geek of the school, Will Tutt. Problem is Kaitlin is out of her league having to battle against the female band geeks knowing more about Will’s interests rather then Kaitlin being her fake-self. She’s got Eric and Brad Ward her best friends to help her out, but who knows, maybe one of them might be holding out on a more then friend’s theory for Kaitlin rather then being gay like their father.

Along with the younger generation and teenage generation the OC continues on with the older folks, and by old we don’t mean walking with a cane and hard of hearing. Oh no. Sandy, Kirstin, Julie and the others still have years to keep on kicking, maybe more then they ever thought they would. With the broken partnership of Newmatch Kirstin is left to pick up the pieces of what’s left after Julie’s scam. Meanwhile, personal problems elapse for the woman with a sudden illness. [A/N. I don’t know how the show is doing it, but it screams out PREGNANCY to me. She’s 40, women still have kids at that age nowadays anyways] Meanwhile, Julie thrives to fix her friendship with Kiki and Sandy continues to work for the lowercase people of Newport fixing their lawful problems.

California here we come <3

Waverly Academy
******************************************
Welcome to the world of Prep School. Normally something only the rich, famous, and fabulous can afford but things have changed a little. After two years of debate the town of Stratford declared that they were sending all students to one highschool. So after shutting down the public schools and forcing everyone into the lavish Prep School, Waverly Academy plenty of things changed. So now it's all one big jumbled mess of cliques and financial status. Not like any of the wealthy kids are going to forget who their freinds are... right? But don't pay much attention to the quaint sunny streets of Stratford, Connecticut because they are just as deceiving as the inhabitants. Sure any outsider peering in at this town with their nose pressed against the glass would say things looked perfect. For the kids of wealthy actors, producers, models and almost any other glamorous job you can think of life looks good. But really there is so much more than meets the eye. Plus what about all the townies who were just added into the mix? Are they nearly as perfect as the Prep School kids? Sure not everyone here is as well off or beautiful as they claim but that's only part of the deception.

touch my plastic face and see what happens.
i'm hiding from the world behind chanel sunglasses.
crushed diamonds, dollar bills;;in my purse is every pill.
fake smiles;;tabloid tasteless.
pretty porsche && fendi facelifts.

Enter the Insiders, a popular clique who rules the school. For them Waverly Academy is the perfect place to be and what happens after here, well most of them haven't planned that far yet. Of course they know there's a cutie with a trust fund just looking for that Barbie so none of them worry much. For the Jocks and Preps you get pretty much the same response because they live under the sheltered wing of the Insiders, they are the accepted ones. But for everyone else well Waverly is practically a living hell. Not that they'd ever tell you that. Most of the students keep their mouths shut about the infamous Insiders hoping that people will eventually evolve past highschool pecking order.

expensive clothes;;my face is froze.
plastic parts;;broken hearts.
masterpiece;;scalpel please.
pink razors, so vain;;sounds like a sexy party.
nose jobs and champagne;;sounds like a fuckin party.

Insert the truth about Waverly Academy and things get a little hazy. The reality of it all is that the world of the beautiful can be very cruel. In any world money can by anything and the Waverly Academy students have plenty of money. So that means full access to any thing these teens can desire. Most of all it means white lies, barefaced truths and don't forget course deception. This prestigious private school accepts mostly legacy students, with parents who came here before sending their children but exceptions are made for those students who are gifted, financially that is. Oh know but we can't forget the scholarship kids or ones who you can't quite figure out how they got in but don't have squat, money wise that is.

collagen pumps && lipo-ed hips
hollywood glamour;;lipgloss tricks
surgery scars an beauty marks;;botox amusement parks
pagant parade, suicide past;;beauty will never last
don't touch me… just fix me…

Not everyone is exactly who they seem to be.

Welcome to Our World
Many secrets lie within Aurora Bridge. Along with a tragic history, great powers, and a curse.

When you first enter the quiet town of Aurora Bridge, it is a seemingly normal town. It has a town park, great restaurants, schools, museums, libraries, and everything else a small, quiet town up in the mountains has. Little do most people know, that if you stay past midnight, the mystery of Aurora Bridge will begin to unravel.

It all started long ago, when the world of the gifted lived with normal people in peace. These Gifted People, as they called them, had extraordinary powers. They could bend water, read people's minds, stop time, and much more. Yet, not all used their powers for good.

The world of the Gifted was in danger. They ran from their troubles, hiding from what they could not defeat.

So, that's when it all started. The town of Aurora Bridge was built, and it became home and hiding place to these people. That was when Hayden unleashed her all-powerful curse.

She made it so that these people could never leave Aurora Bridge for more then four weeks. If you tried to escape forever, you would be drawn back by force. At first it was thought just to be for protection, and the spell had gone horribly wrong. Unfortunately for the inhabitants you could not leave Aurora Bridge at all, but instead if you stayed there past midnight you could not leave, no matter how hard you tried. The magic was permanent…or so they think. Yet many still have questions about what happened so long ago. One of them is: what really happened here more than a hundred years ago?

What secrets does Aurora Bridge still hold? Why did Hayden unleash her curse on the innocent people of this town? Will the mystery finally be solved?

For years, centuries even, this curse has been running, ruining the lives of innocent people. But what happens if these people aren’t so innocent after all? Old tales tell of reincarnations, which means that the soul of one is put into a variety of different things, people, or even animals. There’s a reason why some of the occupants of Aurora Bridge are there. If it was accidental or not, they are reincarnations of the people living there centuries ago. Back when Hayden cursed the town and it's people.

Speaking of Hayden...How could one sorceress do this alone? The legend also states that Hayden had followers, worshipers, people with powers that helped her curse this town. Who knew if it was under one of her mind control tricks or they did it willingly? Thirteen certain occupants of Aurora Bridge are the reincarnations of the followers, or cult so to speak. One including Hayden's reincarnation. Each held a possession given to them by a loved one. Whether it was a necklace or a ring, it held a symbol of the followers, which was a circle with a simple dot in the middle.

There were thirteen possessions; A locket that could not be opened without the key and inside a little symbol of their power, a ring on the inside of the bend was the symbol, earrings which were made to look like the symbol of their power, a pearl necklace with the symbol inscribed on one of the smaller pearls, a silver watch with the symbol on the back of the face, a toe ring with the symbol on the inside like the ring, an ankle bracelet made from shapes looking like the symbols, a belly button ring with the symbol as the jewel, a headband with the symbol printed onto it, sunglasses with the symbol inscribed behind the nose rest, a tattoo somewhere on their body of the symbol, another locket with the symbol on the back, and for Hayden's reincarnation... Well, this was a book full of spells with the symbol on the front.

What happens when these thirteen people together, somehow, find the inscription of the symbol, and that triggers their memories? Small flashbacks occur of their pasts, such as birthdays, but then nightmares begin to surface, showing the curse that they helped with and what they did to help out. Killing people, killing themselves as sacrifices. Gruesome images, and them WHAM! the curse is brought across Aurora Bridge. Which side will the reincarnations choose? The evil side where they team up to try and worsen the curse... or the good side where they try to find the temple with the key to killing the curse forever?

Decades have passed without any signs of the reincarnations. As time went by, the powers began to fade. The prophecy was forgotten. But now, in the twenty-first century, strange things are beginning to pick up again. Powers are being discovered. Secrets are being revealed. Who knows? Maybe Hayden might show her face again....?

Meanwhile

<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>The Cliques

The In-crowd
When it comes to the In-crowd, only one thing is for sure. Any normal student would die to be a member. They're beutiful, rich, and popular. They all seem to have a great life. Hey, they even get their own table at lunch. But one thing about the populars is well...they aren't exactly the nicest people around. But hey, who doesn't want to bully the smart kid into doing your homework?

The Jocks
When it comes to sports, these guys and girls know what to do. They dominate the field in gym. Let's face it, they're all the sports lover's heros. The popular girls are all obsessed with the jock guys. And hey, what guy wouldn't want to date a girl who's won the State Championship three times in a row?

The Emo Kids
You know, Emo people aren't all that different then the rest of us. They just dress differently and all that stuff. Most of them are proud to be declared Emo. No, not all of them are suicidal. When it actually comes down to it, the Emo kids can be sort of cool.

The Rebels
These are the students that aren't quite emo, but still dress the same. The rebels are usually much more outgoing and aren't afraid to stand up for what they believe in. They're usually very stubborn and hate the In-crowd to death. Their greatest allies are the Emo's. Can they some how mange to over through the populars? The odds are against them.

The Skaters
Oh the wonderful world of skateboarding. These students love to dress in comfortable clothes, and basically pull pranks. They're what you would call...the third step down from Emo. But lately things between the Emo and the Skaters aren't going very well. What will happen next?

The Preps

Every school has their students that are labeled Preps. The ones who are smart, obsessed with themselves, etc, etc. Most of this group is made up of girls, but don't get me wrong, some boys can be preps too.

The Geeks
The geeks. Every school has 'em. Most of them are techno nerds, or are just plain ugly. They are always getting picked on by...well, everyone. But one thing they have that most of the others don't is brains.

The Loners
So this is what happens when you get thrown out of your clique? Wow. The Loners are basically all the students that are well...alone. They usually either get kicked out of their group for doing something extremely bad, or just never mad it into one. And if you can't even make it into the geeks, that's pretty sad.

------------------------------
Back at Aurora Bridge Boarding Academy, the prophecy is the least of their worries. The In-crowd continues to rule the school along with the jocks. Everything is a mess. The cliques are at war, the teachers are strict, etc. Just your normal high school drama. What will happen next?

Are you ready to face the drama?
