Me, and Sports? Naahhh, that's something that doesn't go along.

Although....

I love ice skating. Although we almost never have much ice here during winter, at least not thick enough to skate on. Luckily we could skate once this year ^_^, we immediatly went. It was on a sunday, and because it would get warmer again the afternoon, we went pretty early, so we had great ice. When we almost left there was already a lot of water on the ice lol.

I also like inline skating, I think I should do that again... good for my health and my legs, haven't done it since two years or something.

Further I like to watch ice-skating on tv. I'm not into football at all, running after a ball with 20 men, what fun is that? XD Urhm. Owh Yah, I love to watch darts!

Jezzie - April 2, 2006 10:43 PM (GMT)
Haha, I don't really do sports.

River Angel Odin - April 2, 2006 11:47 PM (GMT)
I'm not a really big sports person, but I did play soccer for 9 years. And I was damn good, too! ^^ I don't play anymore, though. I was thinking of starting up again next year. =/ *shrug* Maybe.

Lately, I've also had an obsession over Tennis. Probably because of the anime Prince of Tennis, which I've been watching non-stop for quite awhile now. ^^; I'm obsessed!

Jezzie - April 2, 2006 11:58 PM (GMT)
I like watching tennis on TV sometimes. Mainly because of Andy Roddick

Insomnium - April 3, 2006 12:43 AM (GMT)
Running, sprinting, running, sprinting, running... did I mention sprinting? Hiking, climbing, repelling... running... hiking... lots of climbing... sprinting... Oh, and spelunking is fun (also known as caving). Wilderness camping... is that considered a sport? Anything with a lot of movement, no balls, rackets, water, ice, or sticks... I will go until I'm ready to fall over sometimes... Like I did today! :D I love being outside and enduring whatever nature decides to throw at me. Not to mention, I love getting dirty when I'm outside.

Euphoria - April 3, 2006 06:02 PM (GMT)
Table tennis, badminton, basketball...

Does shopping count? It does involve a lot of walking around.

Andy - April 4, 2006 04:10 PM (GMT)
I used to do loads, football (soccer for you Americans) tennis, badminton etc. etc. Not much more these days, I used to watch it too, but it got boring. I am so jealous of the ice skating though, it has been years since I did any ice skating, as a result, I know I suck at it. :D

I watched alot of ice skating on TV a little while ago, but thats about it lol. Im usually sitting here now lol.

Insomnium - April 4, 2006 10:06 PM (GMT)
Wait a minute.... I just remember... basketball! The only sport I like with a ball. :P

Dana - April 9, 2006 12:35 PM (GMT)
Foozball! If that is even classed as a sport . . .or maybe swimming. Thats coooolishness.

Dubby - April 17, 2006 08:55 PM (GMT)
I do Ju Jitsu.

I love martial arts. I tried Tai Kwon Do but didn't really enjoy it very much. I don't know why. But I love martial arts in general and would like to learn more. Ju Jitsu is amazingly fun and I if I carry on, I can hopefully teach it at some point which would just be awesome.

I also go swimming on occasion, but only if I can be dragged into it. I'm not into revealing clothing and a swimsuit happens to be a bit too snug for my liking. But you know, when I get into it, it can be fun.

I also enjoy tennis on nice days, not very good at it but I try. I'll sometimes play squash with my brothe but he'd too competitive for my liking. Hahaha.

Jess - April 17, 2006 11:11 PM (GMT)
I don’t really do many sports at all these days, although I was in my school swimming gala when I was about thirteen, and played on my schools football (soccer for you Americans out there) team when I was even younger than that. During school I was always either really very sporty (until I was about fourteen I was on all sorts of teams… hockey, netball, swimming, tennis… although I was never brilliant at any) or I did practically no sports (at some point I just stopped taking part, and in my last school I’d just spend PE lessons playing tennis/badminton, socialising or at the gym). Now my only form of ‘sport’ is when I go running with the dog on the beach or down the woods, really. Unless you count bowling as a sport: I love bowling.

The Twenty-Twenty Surgery - April 22, 2006 07:59 PM (GMT)
Skateboarding/weight-lifting?

xAfterglow - April 26, 2006 05:13 PM (GMT)
Volleyball
Basketball
& Swimming, :)

Morgan Le Faye - April 26, 2006 07:41 PM (GMT)
Regular sports: soccer, hockey, track, cross-country. Sports that are exciting really, and I like track and cross-country because I do them...though shin splints weren't fun.

I love to ski though- cross country skiing is awesome! We were up in Canada watching Biathlon on my dad's lap top that he downloaded from a European woman, and it was a lot of fun.

Hiking: I've been hiking since age 3, so I like it a lot. I've done all the mountains in NH that are over 4,000 feet high (48 of them) and the majority were good hikes. I went to Switzlerand to hike in the Swiss Alps, which was awesome and I reccomend it to anyone that likes to hike, backback (though they don't really do that in Switzerland) or rock climb.

What I do want to do is learn how to paraglide, because it looks like so much fun and yeah...that's sports for me

Elfga265 - May 24, 2006 02:01 AM (GMT)
Even though I don't compete in it, I watch figure skating.

Wulf - May 24, 2006 09:37 AM (GMT)
I play lots of sports, the only one where I compete is sailing. I like to go to losts of sailing competitions :)

I also play alot of football (soccer), Squash, Grass Hockey and water sports in general. Im also a dedicated England fan when it comes to their matches, I realy hope there is nobody from Argentina, Germany or France here because if we play against you I may have to hate you if you beat us... Sorry? ;)

Suki Maioh - May 24, 2006 08:43 PM (GMT)
My seventh and eighth grade years I was on the volleyball team at school... we lost horrifically eighth grade year because everyone kept landing on their backsides and running off crying to mummy. That one girl actually got up after falling and literally ran out of the gym. That... was a disaster.

Then in ninth grade I was on the soccer team. =) It was awesomely fun, we got to the regionals then blew it. I was on this year for a while before they kicked me off because I got suspended (for TARDIES no less. and an inaccurate count of tardies, thank you. You don't end up being tardy ten times in one day seeing as there's only SEVEN PERIODS!). But they lost horrifically without me. Didn't win one game.

I also tried ice skating, tennis, and wakeboarding. Which, I must say, of those three I HEART wakeboarding. It's really fun when you get to defy the laws of gravity =P lol Okay now I'm just rambling. *shuts up*

Christinaaa x3 - May 26, 2006 02:49 AM (GMT)
haha sports. I'm in love them. I haven't really gotten busy this year though at my new school, but before I used to do a few.

I ice skated for a few years, miss it very dearly. My main love is softball/baseball though. It's amazing. And then I really love track and field too. Oh, and I bowl hardxcore. hah. I bet no one else can say that.

Hogwarts Unleashed - June 2, 2006 08:20 PM (GMT)
I don't really play any sports but I love to play Badmiton non-competativly(sp) with my friends.

Goddess - June 3, 2006 04:21 AM (GMT)
kick-boxing

ShinLi - June 3, 2006 11:07 AM (GMT)
Goddess, we see such posts as spamming. Isn't there anything else you like to tell about it? How many times a week you do it, do you think it's fun, addicting, anything?

This is a verbal warning, because I've seen more of your replies are quite short!

Jordana - June 3, 2006 11:52 AM (GMT)
Well, I know some people who don't consider this a sport, but I absoloutely love dancing. Classical ballet is what I'm trained in, but I also do modern and lyrical. For the most part, I don't really care. Just get me onto some marley and you've got a happy Jordana. ^_^

I also play lacrosse, which, from what I can make out, seems to be an exclusively New England sport, so I will explain what it is for those who do not know. No, that'll take to long. If you want, go to this link here and it will take you to a page of field diagrams and rules of the game.

Goddess - June 3, 2006 07:55 PM (GMT)
It was short because I didn't know I had to tell you my whole life history with the subject, but here you go. I like kick boxing because it's a good way to let off stress after class or just dealing with people you don't like, which I have to do alot of and you can't very well hit them now can you.

TOH - June 5, 2006 07:05 PM (GMT)
I love playing tennis! I don't get to play very often because of the bad weather the UK is always having, but when that happens, I watch Wimbledon! I also do dance, but that's only at college. <_< :D

If I could learn a sport, I wish it could be gymnastics. It seems like such a cool sport and doing all the flips and balancing could be the perfect challenge!

villylicious - June 7, 2006 08:39 PM (GMT)
I am a total sports ADDICT! I love watching football (and playing flag football) and basketball. However, my love for football can e described in four words: guys.in.tight.pants.

For what I like playing, golf is at the top. I can't stand watching it, though. Way too boring for my tastes. I don't fancy looking at old geezers bent over while putting. I also love doing whatever we're doing in phy ed... be it floor hockey, ultimate frisbee, archery, or even ballroom dancing. But, like most other girls, I'm absolutely addicted to shopping, which most certainly should be a sport, an olympic one at that!

AJ 153 - June 11, 2006 07:53 AM (GMT)
Football!! :):

Jonathan - June 11, 2006 03:14 PM (GMT)
What sports do I play eh? Well, soccer :). HAhah! World's most famous sport :). I play centre-back in my team. not that tall but yeah, I work better in defense. Haha! I play Tennis too. I prefer playing in doubles than singles. I've a very good partner. He usually covers the back and I take the front :). Good in volley :P. I also play Table Tennis. Love the game. Practise it with my cousins. Haha!

ginny_harry1 - June 13, 2006 03:49 PM (GMT)
My favorite sport is volleyball. I love to set and play at the net. It's fun. I never got the opprotunity to play beach volleyball though, as I am land locked.

I also play defence in soccer (football everywhere else). I'm not good at it though.

Taya - June 13, 2006 09:55 PM (GMT)
I dance. Yes, it is a sport and one of the hardest at that. I get annoyed when people say dancing is not a sport, because it most definately is. Plus, I suck at all other sports because I'm not very athletic.

la-harlequin - June 14, 2006 01:14 PM (GMT)
Well i'm a sports-a-holic whatever it be (except golf *shudder*) Actually, just active sports :) I LOVE all types of footy (touch, union, league, afl) you name it, i love it :D I also love equestrian sports and swimming :)

Alex Thropp - June 29, 2006 10:42 PM (GMT)
Soccer (Football) is wonderful. I also enjoy Volleyball, I play it in school.

Chrisdood - July 3, 2006 02:28 AM (GMT)
Ice Hockey is the bomb.

Hilary - July 3, 2006 10:04 AM (GMT)
Erm.. well.. I'm actually a cheerleader. And YES it's a sport. Don't argue. :P:

I did it when I was five, then got back into it a few years ago.

I also really like american football. Not playing it, but just watching. YAY! GO DUCKS!

citrus - July 3, 2006 04:56 PM (GMT)
Soccer/Football is my FAVORITE! I'm watching the FIFA World Cup like an abnormal freak...

I admit I'm in love with some players....

Charity Smythe - July 16, 2006 08:38 PM (GMT)
Swimming, volleyball, bikes :P
