Well, this can basically go both into Art Chat and/or Roleplay Talk or Forum Management. So I'll just put this into a neutral board :clown:.

So, Image Hosts. We all know them and all use them. But which image host do you prefer? Do you use multiple image hosts, or only stick to one. Which is in your option the best, and which is the worst?

And what do you use your image host for? Uploading the graphics of your forum, storing the graphics you made yourself, or do you use it more as a sort of photo album for your digital photo's?

Hmm... I've only ever used imageshack which is OK, I guess but can be a bit slow at times...

Photobucket, all the way. I tried using Devan art or w.e its called but it just seemed too annoying for me. Never tried Imageshack however. I just like the simple buttons in Photobucket, thats all.

Just Photobucket. Always works like a charm for me. :) I only use it to upload my sigs and sometimes a bit of random stuff.

I definitely agree. Photobucket is the best host to use in my opinion. I use Photobucket to host my forum images and my signatures for things like galleries. If I have a signature I'll be using on several different boards, I'll upload to ImageShack.

I use Photobucket for sigs and other pics.

But, for my forums, I normally make a forum that only I and the other admins can see, and attatch all of the pics in posts... I think it's safer just incase photobucket totally dies on me. :D

I use Photobucket for uploading everything, I reckon I've nearly filled mine...

I LOVE imageshack. It's not slow usually, doesn't require an account, and almost always works, unlike photobucket. Plus, it's free, and doesn't require membership. Just copy the link they give you and BAM! insta-image.

I prefer photobucket, I've looked around alot of photo hosts and that has to be my favorite so far. However when I need something quick that I probably don't want to keep I use tinypic

I also prefer photobucket, primarily because I know where all my images are online when using it. I used imgshack for a while, but if I deleted the link to an image I had to mess around uploading all over again. I usually upload all forum graphics (from buttons to signatures) on PB, as well as anything else I want in a forum gallery. I don't use it to upload my website designs or images I'm displaying soley on a website - I have enough space for that on my server.

A long time ago, before Boomspeed became stupid, I used that for hosting sprite comics I made. Now, I use Imageshack. Photobucket, eh, I never really liked it. For me, it's slow and never works, and the registration, if I'm remembering right, is very annoying. Like Drazus said, Imageshack is fast and easy to use. :): I use Imageshack for everything...signatures and avatars, forum banners, random graphics, etcetera.

As for Tinypic, I don't use it. Why use that when I have my good friend Mr. Imageshack?

I know some of my friends used Picturetrail or the Yahoo images thing for pictures on their camera, but that was before Facebook was introduced to the high school crowd.

Photobucket my fav. You can load and link images really quick and if you do an image search you get pretty good results....most of the time.

I personally favor photobucket, since imageshack originally kept messing up things on my computer, but now I find photobucket doing some of the same things.....I still like photobucket though as I have no real complaints about it.

I'll be honest, I use photobucket for everything, and I always have. I guess I can't really have a preference because I've never really used anything else... When I need something in thumbnail form, I'll use Image shack, but I don't have an account at image shack.

I use Photoshop, and I've never tried anything else, really, because I've never had any problems with it. I use it for both forum graphics and photos that I take myself. Everything. =]

It seems like most use Photobucket. I like it as well because it's easy to manage and you can put a lot of photos in it.

Only use Photobucket, I <3 it. I use it for everything.

I only used Imageshack becasue it's quick and easy.

I used Imageshack before discovering Photobucket, though that was years ago! :lol: I've been using nothing but Photobucket ever since for all the images used for my forums.

I have always used photobucket...just cuz if something isn't broke, why fix it? But I am rather intrigued by this imageshack buisness. Cuz, seriously, let's weigh the two names.
