Yesh, RPGD is the awesomeness and so we have got Twitter! As you might have noticed we have a cool twitter widget in our sidebar already so you can all keep up to date on what we are doing. Some stuff will probably be random, but it will all be stuff to let you know what we are doing on RPGD ^^.

I added rpg-d. x3 because it influenced me to get twitter and i like it a lot. <3 i have a lemony background. :3 there could be some official twitter thread or whatever. XD i'd post in it. :3 but it's so much easier than myspace and facebook. even if it's slow at loading sometimes for me. D: and the losers from my school don't have it. <3

so yeah. i made an account just because of rpg-d. x3

I've been trying to follow you for the past fifteen minutes. But as it turns out, the "follow" button doesn't like to work for me.

it doesn't like working for me either! >< neither does the 'stop following' button. i didn't even click follow for osy and now it won't go away from my home page. and nda isn't on there. D=

Worked for me... but I couldn't find them by typing rpgdirectory.... despite that being their name. @.@


So I had to log in and THEN follow their link. lol.

Well that might be because it first was registered under my name, and I changed it to rpgdirectory afterwards. And then it always takes a little time to change that in the search or something XDD.

I'm really not sure why tweeting is suddenly getting so much popularity, it might be another fad or something, but I'm down with it.

because it's way easier than myspace or facebook. XD it's easy enough to change the colours/background. and all you need to do is just post one thing like once a day at least. i think it started getting more popular when actual celebrities started using it. XD

Yeah. at first, I was on it because Owl City could post random things. and that's something I do. XD

But when I got it, suddenly all these celebrities came out of nowhere using the thing. XD

Now it can be a gimmick for updates.

Followed. Be aware, my contacts can make your brain implode! They speak far too technical. Sometimes even for me!

Our main intention with using Twitter is to get members of RPGD quickly updated on stuff we are doing around the board. And get notes out of certain events, like now that we'd like people to vote in the FOTW, and it helps ^^. It's a way for members to get more into what the staff is doing around the place. We can easily add a little announcement to twitter that would otherwise be too small to be made it's own topic for to be posted in this board for instance.

:) That's exactly how handy Twitter is. I would use it for my own site... but it's not big enough, really. :(

I digress. Awesome Move Shin... I'm leaving now... honestly... unless... I REAAAAAAAALlly want to say something. :)

Twitter is great! It's so much easier to use than facebook and all those dumb sites. It takes me 30 seconds to update, and I don't get distracted by all those other posts and applications. Facebook turns 30 seconds into an hour for me.

the widget makes the site load quite slowly on every computer i've been on this site with since it's been added.

am i the only one having this issue?

i don't know, it seems a better idea to add it to once section of the site, specifically, for the people that use it, rather than put it on every single page. my internet speed is decent, but i can't imagine how people who might have worse service are coping with this.

AliceUnrequited I'm having that problem too on here and another page with Twitter. I've got internet that is usually really good, but often the RPG-D isn't fully loading. All I'll see is the site banner the side bar and an empty space of the creamy colored area for a few seconds.
