Shut up! Maybe it wasn't a personal attack on you and just a comment on the way things are. Maybe it was a colloquialism. When you get into the real world, no one's going to be all soft and squishy about you and your 'feelings'. Complaining about it all the time won't help either.

So get over it. You're just making things worse by stirring up drama and being obnoxious.

But you are indeed right--people don't want their little feelings hurt and they'll do anything to prevent it.

People do have a tendency to take personally things that weren't meant to mean anything at all.

But, eh, that happens. Especially online, as it is very hard to convey tone through text.

Hmm. At least you are only on one side of it. I have the misfortune to be on both. My father is very logical and views feelings as silly, my mother doesn't really know what logic is and is ruled by her feelings.

Me? I'm an incredibly sensitive person who is very nasty to other people >_< I take things really personally and say really insensitive stuff. There's a constant battle, because I don't want to be on either side. I just want to be calm.

So I can honestly say that neither side should be judged, because both sides suck -nod-
