Well, hello there everyone. I'm known around these parts as Denmark
and I'm looking for a few good and women to help me start up a series of
games based upon the Marvel comic universe. I'd actually like to start a
production company based around that specific genre.
I've found that games that try to be too broad in their plots and try to
encompass the entire MARVEL universe (and sometimes the DC universe
as well) tend to be too broad so these games will be localized in specific
areas with general plot ideas with some boadpwid plots and events. They
also tend to be less than friendly towards original characters and a lot
of people want to play original characters in the MARVEL world. So
these games will be primarily original character based games
that will be focused on the post-Civil War MARVEL universe. The
Avengers Initiative and the Fifty States Initiative give us a lot of
leeway with creating unique plots and original characters so I
want to utilize that to it's full potential.
So far I have two board plots and minor set ups done. I got bored while
hiking around the Korean peninsula a couple weekends ago. But I've
got the stuff if you've got the skill. One board is slated to be set in the
city of Chicago and focus around a sanctioned team of superheroes
as well as super villains, rogue superheroes, SHIELD agents, and
regular citizens. The other board is set to center around the brand
new government superhero training facility in Stamford, CT; it will
focus on the superheroes in training, the staff members, as well as
the folks in the city.
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU, TRUE BELIEVERS.
EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MARVEL UNIVERSE IS NOT REQUIRED.
Though it is appreciated, I've been keeping up with the newer stuff.
What I really need is a team that is as interested in doing this as me.
I need dedicated people who are interested and are willing to get into
the action. I'm good with coming up with board ideas and designing
canon lists and all that and I have a whole bunch of it all ready done
for these boars. I need someone who is good with skinning as
well as someone who can do board graphics because, sadly, I
am not skilled in that area.
