I don't usually rant / vent about a lot .. but this particular situation has been bugging me.

Okay, so I'm in the process of opening up an all girls school RP, and almost everything is done. The graphics are up, the forums are set, the permissions, the groups, the sidebar, the cbox, etc. And I'm almost always pretty confident about the grand opening of all my sites, but someone commented on this particular site, and it just brought my spirits down a little.

So the cbox on this site is up and running, and a couple of days ago (keep in mind that my site is not yet open for new members), a random person I don't even know comes along and says "well....the plot and the setting just don't seem to match up for this site. so....toodles!" I mean .. I understand that people are going to have their own opinions about my site, but if the site isn't open, and you're just gonna leave because you don't like the site, why leave a comment like that, you know?

Don't get me wrong, this isn't going to stop me from opening my site, but if you're just gonna look then leave the site, why do you have to discourage people in the process?

Some people get their highs off of destroying other people. It sucks, but I wouldn't let it get to you. Or at least be down for a bit and then cheer up to know that you're better than them because you didn't retaliate and you don't do that sort of stuff to other peope, particularly aspiring RP creators.

Delete the post from the cbox, dismiss the person as being an idiot and look forward to a prosperous RP! xD

Hey, I say everyone deserves their own opinion, but one doesn't need to go overboard with it. >_<

Don't let the inconsiderate guests get you down. Make your site - they'll be missing out on a great time.
