Title: I Hate Losing Stuff!

I don't care about stealing. That's just fine. I don't mind losing things because I'm totally incompetent. I've done that since I was tiny, both on the computer and off, so I'm used to it.
I hate having my test boards deleted!
I check through my boards today: no fewer than four of my test boards have been deleted with no warning. I had stuff on them! I lost three skins at least, one I was very pleased with, two plots, several sets of rules and a whole bunch of other random stuff.
I know I really should've saved all this stuff on my computer, but I have stuff scattered everywhere and it would take me weeks to sort it all out and work out whether I'd saved them before. Sometimes I save one thing five different times in different locations and another thing not at all.
Ahhhhhh! Plagiarism is nothing to this. At least if someone takes my stuff without credit I still have it. With this I don't even have anyone to blame except myself and that's not comfortable!

And that is why I've long since stopped using any free webservice. Just can't trust any of it to still be there later.

Did you try contacting the forum provider and see if you can have it back somehow? I know on ProBoards you can get them back, but I dunno about IF.

BLARGEN! *goes to double save stuff... maybe even triple* I don't get WHY they wouldn't let you keep a test board though. Free web providers make money from advertisers. So even test boards that get views make them money for every hit they get even by guests. Does not compute.
Unless your testboard wasn't viewable. But still... blargen for you! a big capitalized BLARGEN!

It was IPBFree and SpreeBB. I lost three boards on IPBFree. And all were guest viewable -_-

I'm glad at least that my problems have warned you guys xD And myself, of course, for future.
