Short preview (one paragraph-well I managed to shorten it to two):Christina sat there in the flickering lamplight, running her fingers across the worn edges of the pages. She glanced down and looked at the words before her, 'Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate', laughing silently to herself as if it were her own little inside joke. She looked over at the bed in her hotel room and half cracked a smile. It was official, she was staying in a dump. Shaking her head, she gave a little sigh, knowing that if she didn't laugh she'd probably cry, so she'd might as well make the best of it. After all, this place wasn't that much worse than some of the youth hostels she'd stayed in back in the 80's. Okay, that was a lie. But in all fairness they didn't come complete with blood stained clothes strewn across the floor.

She glanced out the window to her car. It was probably about time to get something to dress these wounds with. Speaking of time, circumstances as they were, looked like she'd be stuck in this room the next day or so. Should've packed some SPF 80 , not that that actually works... but being caged when there was a war going on out there is not exactly conducive to, well anything. Everything else aside she'd still be a sitting duck. At least there was a pay phone a few doors down. So if she needed to bail anyone out she'd just need ...change. Which was also in her car. If James could see her now...he would laugh. Probably never let there hear the end of it. Then he'd probably tell her to stop being such a sob story and man up. And he'd be right. After all, this wasn't about her; never was.

What makes you think you can help?:I do admin and mod several other sites, do graphics, am a writer who likes doing plot/character development, and am very familiar with all the fandoms but one.
