Title: Looking For The Perfect Site
Faux Romance - September 9, 2008 05:12 PM (GMT)
Genre: Boarding School/ College/ HP/ Real life
Difficulty: Any, I generally write between 300 and 600 words a post but sometimes I can write more, it just depends
Type(s) of Creature(s): Human-like creatures
Preferred Rating: PG-13/ R
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: Less than 30-ish members, activity isn’t too much of an issue as long as there are a couple of people on and posting every day.
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: Present but willing to go about twenty years either way.
Other Notes: A character idea has come up and I really want to get a chance to play her out. I was thinking she could be about 19 but I could tweak the age by a year or two either way (So between 17 and 21) I was thinking about a fashion design student but I can easily tweak her for a HP site, just tone her down a bit to fit.
No canons only sites, as long as original characters are welcomed I don’t mind. I’d also like to be able to play any siblings that she has, I also generally dislike model only sites but I’m sure I can find someone that will fit. Also I'd like a site with an application, non-app sites confuse me and I prefer filling out an ap before I start RPing.
I don't really like how Proboards work so I'd prefer invisionfree because I'm used to how it works.

Hopefully this may work for you.

Des Baroches Casino & Resort. Everyone everywhere has heard of the place, what with it reaching world fame in what seemed to be a week. It’s one of the world’s foremost places to visit if only for it’s location on the coast of Monte Negro. A place that makes Las Vegas look clean and virginal and Hollywood appear to be just another suburban town. The place is home to one of the best restaurants in Europe and is in all sort of magazines more than the next great Hollywood train wreck. It’s become a lifestyle in and of it’s self and the world around wants a piece of that action.
And why shouldn’t it be so popular? With big budget movies dying to film a scene here or there and all sorts of shows going on, well, it’s better than anything else in the world. Certainly Hollywood doesn’t offer as great of a shot as watching the latest big budget action star blow hundred at the crap table just like you. Or the amazing not so slim chance in hell of actually seeing that model you stare at in the magazines at the table next to you. It’s a social equalizer like no other if you could actually manage to afford it. Really, the resort itself has to be the headlines favourite story since it’s always mentioned along with the heiress who might be dating the popstar who wears those skimpy skirts.
Though not all of the headlines are what they could be. January 5th a body was found off the coast of Sicily of all places, later identified to be one of the resort’s former customers. Reports suggest he may have gotten into a bit of trouble with loan sharks since there are gangs of them roaming around the casino freely since it’d be wrong to kick someone out because they look sketch. But not to worry, the man was later found to have overdosed on some nasty little drug, leading people to believe that there might be a drug ring somewhere within the resort. And while Des Baroches denies this, well, let's just say common sense will lead to think otherwise. Which may just say something about the clientele since they’ve gotten more visitors yearly since then.
After all, a small threat of drug dealers or winding up in a ditch somewhere with all your limbs broken is worth it to some of the visitors. Worth it to say that you stayed at the greatest place on earth and hit it big. Or perhaps you lost it all? Really no on will know until you man up, book a trip and take the risk. Des Baroches promises to make it a regrettable mistake you want to do again and again…

How about taking a look at Closer? We're a modern real life RPG, set in the fictional city of Bishop, North Carolina. We do not specifically aim for college aged characters: rather, we'd like to have characters of all ages on the site, but we do have a college for her to go to, and there are plenty of characters around her age that she can interact with.
We do require an application prior to joining, but it's mostly the general questions of appearance, personality and history, plus a few other small questions. Also, you'll be happy to know that we're an invisionfree board =)
Anywho... here's our ad:
C L O S E R
Bishop City, a place where corruption and crime thrive under a leadership that is so crooked, it’s a miracle it's still standing. For years, this corrupt leadership has ensured that the city has remained informally divided into four: West Side, where the powerful and wealthy settle down and build their families, North End, where the young businessman can climb the corporate ladder, South End, where the average Joe lives his average life on an average salary, and East Side, the realm of crime, violence and poverty, where every day is a struggle to survive. It is not an ideal situation...in fact, it is the exact opposite, but that is today's situation in Bishop City, and it is the way it has been for many years. But there may very well be change on the way...
While the four mafias of the city are stepping dangerously close to war, the people of Bishop City prepare for the upcoming election, which may set in stone what future the city faces. It is a chance to rid of the old - the corrupt leadership of Mayor Ian Anderson - and replace it with a new, possibly one determined to change the city for the better, someone who can make a change in every citizen of Bishop City's life? Or perhaps it will go the other way, and "the new" will be an ever greater evil, which will ensure a formal division of the city for all days to come. The criminals have already chosen their candidate - the one who will benefit them the most - but the criminals are greatly outnumbered. It is in the hands of the people that the power still sits; the power to mould tomorrow. Amidst all this corruption in crime, there is a bright light shining. Is there still hope for Bishop City? Only time will tell.

Located in the northeast section of Rhydin in the city of New Haven, a city that has no regulated law enforcement, and no ruling government, the Tel'Ranaemyn Inn seeks to be a refuge to those in need, or those in need of a place to lie low.
Rhydin is the name of the country and the name of the continent. It is a unique place and exists in a Nexus. This means that all manner of creatures, from the year 2285 or 10,000 BC could potentially find their way here. Perhaps they were driving their car in modern-day Manhattan, made a wrong turn, and suddenly found themselves in a very different place? Or maybe a caveman ran inside a cave to hide from T-Rex and found himself in this strange new world. A sailors ship is tossed about in the seas and he finds himself here. The possibilities are endless.
Not all the inhabitants of Rhydin get along, no place is as peaceful as that. Different races and cultures make for a vast myriad of belief systems and political views. It's possible that some may have ideas to another, as people learn to find comparisons and compromises. Everyday life in Rhydin can be not so ordinary.
With a forest to the North and the ocean and docks bordering the East, New Haven is a steadily growing city that is ripe for almost anything.
Thanks for the consideration!

morosely: I think my character might be a bit young and might be a little out of place with your site's theme. Brilliant idea though, Good Luck with it =D
Catastrophe86: Your site is almost what I'm looking for except your member count might be a little high for me but I'll bear it in mind and think it over if I don't find anything else.
Epiphany: It's a really orginal idea but I don't really think that its for me. I was thinking more just straight real life without anything overly unrealistic. Good luck with your site.

AshBeanNun - September 9, 2008 08:50 PM (GMT)
Hey there! I think AG would be a good fit for an HP site. It's an AU post-DH set in the wizarding UK in the fall of 2018. Our characters are ages seventeen and up (there's
a large twentysomething population, so the charrie you mentioned would fit in well). PG-13, Intermediate/Advanced, invisionfree. We have about 45 members right now with over 100 charries between them--but everyone isn't on everyday, of course, and the site doesn't feel crowded or impersonal. We're a friendly, creative bunch and we'd love to have another fashion-savvy charrie on the site. (If you check out Apollo and Artemis Sinistra you'll see what I mean!) Our registration process is simple and outlined in the rules. All-in-all, I think you'd have a good time at the site! Here's the ad to give you some more info.

"I'm afraid that I cannot share the particulars with you. I work in the Department of Mysteries; you understand. Suffice it to say that we seek to understand the differences between magic and Muggle; moreover, why they are different."
"An Unspeakable? Humor me, are you really trying breed a new race of Super Blast-Ended Skrewts to use in a war against the French wizarding community?"
"The truth of our work is a great deal less amusing."
"I refuse to believe your work is boring. I'm sure you're working on something utterly fascinating, like trying to unlock the mysteries of the human soul."
"...Do you find the human soul fascinating?"
"Well, yes, I suppose I do. It is the very essence of who we are. It transcends death itself. That's what makes the Dementors so utterly terrifying. They weren't just destroying your body, they were destroying your very being. You can exist without a body, ghosts are proof of that...but your soul is everything."
WHEN HOGWARTS ISN'T ENOUGH...• "I really like the site so far, particularly, the fact that you guys emphasize roleplays over anything else." •
• "I love to role play Harry Potter and this site is just... perfect! I've finally found an active site! Let me tell you I love it already!" •
• "It takes collaboration to a whole new level." •
• "The admins aren't obnoxious, and they don't push around the members or make them feel like sludge. They constantly make an effort to improve the forum and it seems like every time I log on, I find something new to marvel over." •
• "I love that there isn't one set plot and that not everyone has to conform to fit one plot. You basically have free reign and that makes having a character here that much better. You're not limited to certain qualities. It was easy registering and everyone here is AMAZING. Friendly and inclusive. I feel welcome." •

Claire Littleton - September 9, 2008 09:22 PM (GMT)

"Oi! You're Neville Longbottom, You're the boy that lived!" A ginger haired Ron Wealsey appointed excitedly as Harry Potter sat at his side, not nearly as impressed - he was more wrapped up in the minature Snitch that flew between his fingers - he was going to make the Quidditch team just like his father. The Hogwarts Express was packed and that had been the only empty compartment left - the one that held the boy who lived. "D'you have, you know-" Ron began slowly and sheepishly as Neville shyly lifted up his hair - sure enough there was a flesh colored scare the exact shape as a lightning bolt...
• I won't hit on the next girl I see. •
• I won't hit on the next girl I see.•
It had all happened so fast – it had passed by and Harry wasn’t able to do anything, and just like Sirius, because of it, Dumbledore was now dead. Hogwarts was without It’s favorite and most beloved Head Master. The funeral had been one of the most dreadful things in a long time – the sad and tear stained faces lined the seats as the Great Albus Dumbledore was laid to rest. It seemed the students of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry was ending early, thus making the summer even longer. The students were ordered the pack their bags as the Train would be picking them up the day after his funeral. Things were supposed to go as planned.
•"Hiya, Harry" •
•”Lavender, you’re looking good today. “•
Hermione Granger was up in the girl’s dorm when things began to go off course. It was all fine – she was tearfully packing her bag to go home and reflecting the year in her mind. To most, she was rather out of it. Slowly she moved her winter cloak as something golden caught her eye. Hermione hadn’t a clue what it was… She didn’t have much gold… Her hands wrapped around the object as she pulled it out – a gasp flew from her lips. No.. She’d returned it back to the head master himself, Dumbledore had taken it straight from her hands, she remembered. Baffled and still beyond upset – Hermione headed over to the boy’s dorms to see Harry and Ron.
• I REALLY won't hit on the next girl I see. •
• I REALLY won't hit on the next girl I see.•
“Hermione, can’t you see! He knew this was going to happen or something… He knew we’d have to fix it, just like before with Sirius!” Harry stated frustrated that she hadn’t agreed off the hop. “No – Harry, we –“
“What if we can save Sirius this time, AND Dumbledore!?” The expression on Ron’s face held complete and sheer confusion , “What the bloody hell are you on about?” A look from Harry quickly shut him up as his eyes turned back to Hermione. She was convinced.
• “Potter! What are you doing?”. •
• “Erm, you’re looking lovely Professor McGonagall….•
“Luna, that’s brilliant!” Neville said in a hushed tone admiring the coin in his hand. The Trio were pressed up against the wall only feet away from them, each of their hands clapped over the others mouths. Both Hermione and Harry’s over Ron’s. Merlin, they were getting too big for the cloak. Neville pocketed the coin and looked into the corridor, in only a matter of moments the two were gone whispering about something else. “No.. This can’t be right.” Hermione said, her face as pale as a ghost. “Hermione, what’s wrong?”
“D-d-idn’t you see? Neville has your scar….”
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
James and Lily Potter never died that night – instead, Neville’s parents were the ones that suffered the killing curse from the Dark lord himself. Harry had instead been raised up in his incredibly loving family, with the help of the egotistical Sirius Black. Many things had changed that night – many that completely altered history. When the Trio had used the time turner, they’d done something wrong – something that completely messed it all up. But what? Merlin only knows.
Come join ‘STRANGER THAN YOUR SYMPATHY.’?For what hopes to be an incredibly interesting role play, that allows absolutely everyone to use their wildest imaginations and create the best characters (And expand upon canons into your own creation.) We’ve all lived through the fabulous novels, but now that they’re sadly done – we need to make our own stories, and really – what better way then altering the original so hugely?
(it's proboards, but it's worth it?)
Faux Romance - September 9, 2008 09:39 PM (GMT)
fishycrackersxo: I'm not really too keen on the club idea as I don't really think that any of the clubs advaliable would be suitable for my character. Good luck with the site.
AshBeanNun: After Graduation is a really cool site but it might be a little big for me to find somewhere that I could fit in. It looks really good and I hope that it carries on with such great sucess.
Claire Littleton: This site sounds really interesting and I think I could find somewhere that I could fit my character in. I'll give it some thought and probably will join at some point.
Blue Bloods - September 9, 2008 09:43 PM (GMT)
You should check out BB :)
Friendly • Our staff are welcoming and our members are just the coolest. You should come by the chat and meet us while you browse. ^.^
Active • We've been open since January and we're still kicking. Members come and go like every site, but we usually have around 15-30 people active weekly, if not daily.
Variety • We don't like the cookie cutter Mary Sues and John Does. Psychos, Drug Addicts, All around A-holes, Old, Young, Males, Females... diversity is king!
Navigate with Ease • We try to make the skin and set up easy to navigate and organized. Everything is updated weekly so you won't get confused, and if you still need help staff's always on call
Creative Freedom • While our overall board is rated PG-13, there is a mature threads forum where you can be free of censorship and write your heart out
Plot with depth • Our vampires aren't your average run of the mill characters. They are the fallen angels, cast out of heaven and sentenced to being reincarnated on earth as vampires. They live life cycles, but when they reach puberty they start to get the memories of their past lives and realize what they are with the help of The Committee, the vampire undergound of NYC.
Book you don't have to read • While we are based on the Blue Bloods novels by Melissa de la Cruz, you don't have to have read the books to get it. We give tons of information threads for you to get a good idea of the world our characters live in.
Multi-dimensional • While you can get into the vampire aspect of the board, you can also choose to be a human with no contact to the vampires at all. Rpers have done this quite well and had fun too. So this isn't just a site for vampire lovers.

Deep in the heart of NYC, amongst the high-end shops and ritzy museums lies a secret hundreds of years in the making. The rich and powerful are not as they seem. In fact they are from an ancient lineage, that of the Blue Bloods.
They are vampires who's memories have been preserved through their past lives, making them extremely smart, strong, and lethal. They have more power than you can imagine... but something is hunting them. The Croatans, vampires that feed on others of their kind, hide in the shadows and for now it seems Blue Bloods no longer hold rank at the top of the food chain.

Not to be pushy or anything, but we operate with one account per character in the game, so our actual member count is much lower than the number that appears in the board statistics. There are 13 people listed in the who's who thread, but the reality is probably 15-20 members.
Angel-girl - September 9, 2008 10:17 PM (GMT)
Hi there. Our member count may look high, but it represents multiple characters made by around 30 writers. Your girl would fit right in with our mish mash of fun and interesting artistic characters. We started in Rent fandom, post canon, but in the past two years, we've developed into an RL game based in New York which happens to have the canons from that fandom running about. . . You don't need to know a thing about the musical or the movie, since the characters are just characters, nothing more. We're grown up, decent writers, and friendly as can be. Have a look. The banner in my sig's the link.

You're living in America at the end of the millennia. . . and you're not alone. Alphabet City We're in the year 1996 and the colorful residents of the East Village in Manhattan are facing the issues which challenge poor Bohemian artists in the mid-90s. Drug abuse, HIV, prostitution, starvation, death, life, and love. However, they find that they aren't alone, friends are all around, and there is always coffee to be drunk, issues to be discussed, and art to be created, good and otherwise. Come join our cast of canon and original characters, featuring a strong sense of community and creativity and find that you're not alone either. Other notes:Based on the Broadway musical RENT, set post-canon, though slightly AU to keep Angel alive. We have evolved and changed over the past two years from a fandom RP to a RL RP with some fandom characters. We are lucky to have a great group of OCs who are keeping the plot moving and changing quickly, and we always welcome new writers and OCs with open arms. We also have a brand new board! It's pretty and blue and still has that new board smell!! Come see. It's pwetty!!!

so lets say your a celebrity. your living the life nothing can go wrong you know it. but sometimes fame is to much especially if your a teenager you cant make your own mistakes with out the world reading about it the next day. now normal life is looking better and better every day. life in la is looking shittier and shittier as each morning comes and your face is in the papers. what if there was a school that promised normalcy where you can go to school with other celebrity teens and normal teens. where only the celebrities know about the schools secret and the normal kids are there for the schools arts program.
---
so now you have four years to be normal get a part time job make friends that youll keep for the rest of your life although they dont know your really the guy they crushed on from the movie. or the girl they fell in love with. or for that matter who they wish they were. they have no idea what they wish to become is something your running away from and that you wish to have their life.
---
even though your running from hollywood you still have to do premieres, make movies, put out records and interviews. right? or else hollywood would suspect something if 50 teen idols picked up and left right? so even though you've escaped your still pulled back in from time to time and when you go you remember why your in the crappy town in Indiana in the first place. stardom isnt all its cracked up to be.
---
but how long can you stay hidden with out hollywood figuring out where your coming from or for that matter the normal students to figure out that your the guy they have the hots for. and run you out of the school? when you fall in love can you trust the girl to keep the secret? or will she blab to her best friend and the entire town know? would you take her to a premiere? give her a wig and protect her identity? so many questions that will be answered.

"Welcome to St Mary's/St Peter's Catholic school. Situated on the outskirts of Little Rock, Arkansas we are devoted to serving God. Our little angels of this school are blessings and each one will learn about the Almighty. Maybe they came here on their own whim, or maybe they have gotten on trou-"
This is the typical letter to these two schools. St Mary's has been designated as the girls' school, and St Peter's for the boys. The schools have seperate classes and campuses, but mix when it's time for clubs and dances. The nuns and ministers all claim their children are saints, but everyone knows what goes down in Catholic schools. Either the sexy uniform of plaid skirts with white shirts and red ties that the girls wear get the boys of St Peter's "excited" or the girls are enticed by the boys habits of smoking behind the bushes. The churches and schools really have no idea that their students don't live by the precious Bible. But by their own motto...* Live, Laugh, Love !

We're a reasonably new site, but tend to have 2-3 of our four players on each day, according to British time, although i myself am an insomniac, so tend to keep British and american hours to RP. Welcome to Cairbre Ives Academy
You're here because you're talented in the wrong ways. You know how to pick a lock, hotwire a car. Maybe you can crack a safe, or maybe you've just got a talent for annoying people. You're here because the people who care about you just can't handle you, and want you straightened out before you do something dumb enough to get you thrown in jail. Or maybe you're just here because nobody else will take you. Doesn't matter to us, we're going to rehabilitate you into society.
But not in the way you think.
By the time you leave Cairbre Ives, you'll be a fully functional member of society. JUst not necessarily the society everyone else thinks. By the time you graduate from the Academy, you'll be able to serve in any government agency you care to name. We're not just talking as a spook here either, although there is an element of James Bond to the whole thing. Politics, Economics, even the stuff you need to get you on the NASA space programme; the curriculum at Cairbre Ives is as secretive as it is exciting. So forget grade school and juvenile hall, forget life on the streets and come to Melbourne, Florida. Home to the School for Scumbags |

Blue Bloods: I'm not really looking for a vampire roleplay but thanks for the sugesstion
Angel-girl: Really interesting site but unfortunately I'm only fifteen so I'm too young to join. Really nice site though.
zuca1988: Really nice looking site and interesting plot but I don't really think the site is for me. Good Luck with your site.
ThoughtlessEpiphany: Sorry but I said that I only wanted sites that required an application. Looks like they are both really active sites though. =D
JEUX D'ENFANTS: I've never watched Gossip Girl so I don't really think that I know enough about the site to make a character that works and fits into the setting.
Rokkan: I'm not sure that I could get her to fit without completely veering away from the fashion design thing that I was going for. Really unique idea for a site, good luck with it.

Hi Faux Romance,
With one exception I think we fit your criteria fairly well.
Genre: The Black Pullet is a Harry Potter AU board, but only in the sense that we do not discuss any of the stories or characters that are dealt with in the books. We have our own issues in Magical Ireland and our own troubles with dark wizards; we have simply borrowed the magic and creatures from Harry Potter. We have a general plot guiding our story as well as admin controlled devices (Newspapers, Gossip, Fate, Radio, Townspeople) that steer things in many new directions. There is freedom to explore your own storylines as well as to react to what is happening around you.
Difficulty: We are listed as advanced, but without the attitude. We want to see good story writers but we don't get upset about typos or patchy grammar. We have no minimum word requirement but we like to see at least two paragraphs. Most of our posts are in the 3-5 paragraph range.
Type(s) of Creature(s): Right now our characters are all human and three werewolves (who interact as humans), with the odd goblin, house elf or troll thrown in. We are open to any creature in the HP world.
Preferred Rating: We are ‘R’ rated, but mature threads are not on the main board and only the writers themselves can ever read them. Swearing is allowed, with only the F word changed to "feck" (we are in Ireland, after all).
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: We're not huge but we are active. Since March we've been averaging about 12 posts per day. There is nearly always someone around with whom to post.
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: This is the only area I see there being a real difference with what you requested. The Black Pullet is set in 1969 and the town is very backward. There's no television -- people get their news by radio or the newspapers. They eschew cars and broom travel in favor of horses, trains and boats. Clothing styles date to around the Edwardian period, though young folks have been wearing more modern styles despite the bad looks the receive. Many who live here are fisherman or farmers. They like their ways and are suspect of those who want to rock the boat.
Note: Some forums are not visible until you are accepted.
If your character is into fashion design she'd probably still fit in. We have a character on board who is a tailor and is very interested in fashion.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me here. You can click on my signature to take you to the Black Pullet. Hope to see you soon.

We are big. I know this. But -- we are yet to lose anyone who didn't want to be lost! Drop into the CBox and introduce yourself if you'd like to get an idea of how we roll, or read through the testimonials linked in the advertisement. We're maximum activity, with a great community behind it -- so don't miss out for the sake of numbers!
oh yes we're on our own and
THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO
They taught us to dream.
To believe in an equal society.
Werewolf among us.
Vampires beside us.
Muggles.
Wizards.
Halfbloods.
Together in peace.
The headmaster's daughter is dead.
The headmaster has been fired.
Werrant Pierce has taken control
and he's not a nice little cupcake.
----------------
so we don't need no one like you
TO TELL US WHAT TO DO
Imagine a man stuffed full of the old prejudices
in a position to do something about it.
Imagine being a werewolf, a vampire, or any other halfblood
in what you thought was a safe world.
Imagine that world turning against you - again.
Throw away your hopes for a better life.
To survive, you have to play the right cards to the Ministry.
You can't be friends with the devils they hunt.
Shut your mouth and play the game.
They're watching us entirely too closely.
----------------
we don't refer to the past when
SHOWING WHAT WE'VE DONE
We are not a school just for the rich.
We are not a school just for the pure.
We are not a school just for the smart.
We are not a school just for the human.
We are not going to apologise for that.
We will not be beaten.
We will not back down.
We will not be silenced.
We will fight.
Whatever the cost.
----------------
the past is in your head; the future's in our hands. we are
TALLYGARUNGA
ACADEMY OF WIZARDING MAGIC
and we have always been proud of it.

rewind ten years or so. a fellow named banner, another named
hudson, and a snappy woman named wayne, all lawyers, got
together (not like that) and decided to start their own law firm.
none of them imagined that banner, hudson & wayne would last
one year, let alone ten. certainly none of them imagined that their
firm would become one of the biggest and the most formidable in
the whole of america.
known for it's eccentricity (the BHW christmas party makes the
newspapers every year for it's theatrical nature, don't even get
me started on the halloween party), the firm is going as strong
as ever. behind the murder trials and the environmental lawsuits,
the lawyers themselves have been known to get themselves in
some 'dramatic' situations.
as one person put it, they fuck like rabbits.
on that note, hop on your jet plane, get over to the big apple, and
try not to get yourself into too much trouble.

THOSE DIRTY TRICKS
IT'S TOO LATE FOR JUBILATION----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have two for you.
The first is a Harry Potter site. It is set in the 2021-2022 school year in peacetime. There's tolerance for blood types, no new wannabe Dark Lord, no need to round up the Order. Life is good...unless you are a resident of Hogwarts Castle. A long time ago something was hidden and sealed within the castle and it has recently woken up. This entity is causing strange things to happen all over the school. At first it was minor and included things like jerking the staircases around or moving the trick stairs but in September a bludger went rogue during a practice and went on a rampage inside the castle, injuring a student. A few weeks later the DADA professor's wand suddenly started shooting spells on its own causing mayhem in the classroom full of sixth years. Currently the suits of armour are acting up and a pair of students are trying to fight their way off of the third floor while a group is being attacked on the sixth. Aside from these weird and so far unexplainable events, life is going on as usual. Quidditch teams are holding tryouts, students are trying to avoid being the next target of Lily Potter and Fred Weasley, gossip is running rampant over who's dating who and there are curses over the mountain of homework that's piling up.
Try to ignore the member count at the bottom which reads somewhere around 50. We have an activity check going on and a few accounts will be cleaned out soon bringing that number down. Many players also have more than one character which also belies our size. We're a very friendly bunch and unless it's midterm season we're pretty active. Depending on where your character would fit in, there are a few ways to jump into the site such as class threads, flying notes, Accident 3 (or 2 if the character is a 6th year) or just post an open thread.
The other site is a hybrid site. It's based on the Sailor Moon fandom, but the creator wants to try something new so it's very au. In addition to the fandom aspect, we need civilian characters and there are many forums that could be used for a RL style roleplay. As a fashion design student, she'd be a perfect friend for the character of Trista Meioh. The site is based in the present year and is set in Tokyo, Japan. The summer is winding down and a big beach party is coming up as a way to celebrate and farewell the summer. The Sailor Scouts are for the most part not awake or active and the monster attacks are yet to come. Another neat aspect of this site is that you can give your character a previous life of some kind. Most characters are reincarnated members of a long ago interplanetary alliance, even the civilian canons, and there is a forum dedicated to the distant past.
There are currently 30 members but again some members actually have more than one characters. The site has only been open for about three weeks so we're just picking up steam. It's another friendly bunch and strange cbox conversations are the norm. Either site would love to have you and if we don't fit, then i wish you luck on your search.
