Preferred Time where RPG is set in: Eeeee... Well, modern is okay, I guess. Alternate reality is good, or in the, like 19th century maybe, as long as France is not involved. Before the seventeen hundreds is win. Don't want futuristic, really, unless it's really good.

Hi! Well, I represent the Abydos Quest, which is an advanced fantasy board. It doesn't perfectly match your description, but I will tell you that you would be able accomplish what you want to do on our board. Our setting, however, is medieval fantasy, so I'm not sure if that's too different from what you're looking for. As for the rest: we have numerous members with excellent senses of humor, all of the creature types you listed are allowed, mature content is fine, and we have about 30-40 active members.

The Abydos Quest is an advanced free-form role playing board for writers interested in cooperative fantasy storywriting. There is a short application (respond to one of several posted RP scenarios as one of your characters). No word minimums, shops, canons, or restrictions - write the stories you want and make the characters you want. The provided fantasy 'world' is extremely large, so there's lots of space for you to be creative!

• Relatively new board, and small community
• Only advanced writers accepted. Core members average 700-1500 words/post or more, with good depth, detail, spelling, and grammar (less is fine, this is just an idea of what we're like).
• All stories are original - there are no set plots or canons. A world with geography has been established for your use, you can create what you will within that.
• The setting is fantasy - medieval with magic, dragons, knights, etc. Other races/species ok as long as they incorporate into the setting.
• Most content is PG/PG-13, but there are no word filters.
