Title: Not Sure What I Want
Description: but want something!
EmmiJade - August 31, 2008 04:55 AM (GMT)
Genre: I'm not sure exactly. No real-life RPs or Twilight, please. I tend to lean towards things with supernatural creatures (love werewolves especially) and magic. I'm not likely to join an HP site unless it's fantastically unusual and unique. I'm willing to try some alternate history stuff. I like Star Wars, but would be extremely picky about a Star Wars site.
Difficulty: any - preferably not beginner, but I'll take it if it's a good plot
Type(s) of Creature(s): any
Preferred Rating: skirting the adult end - PG-13 or R at least
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: any
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: any
Other Notes: I'm just looking to find a place where I don't have to be an admin, really. I'm doing so much admin work and no roleplaying and it's making me sad. Brownie points if you actually talk to me along with post your ad.
AshBeanNun - August 31, 2008 05:24 AM (GMT)
You could give AG a try, I believe it falls under the Fantastically Unusual and Unique Potter category. ^_^ It's an AU post-DH set in the Wizarding UK in the year 2018. We focus on adult characters and the happenings in the wider UK society/government/etc. rather than teenagers at Hogwarts. PG-13, Intermediate/Advanced, canon powers/creatures available, highly active with over forty active members and over a hundred charries.
We have a simple application and joining process--post a charrie profile and you're in. You can read more about that in the rules. There's a lot of great plottage to get involved in, wonderful members to RP with, and ultimately, I think you would have a great time! Here's the ad, which will give you a bit more information.

"I'm afraid that I cannot share the particulars with you. I work in the Department of Mysteries; you understand. Suffice it to say that we seek to understand the differences between magic and Muggle; moreover, why they are different."
"An Unspeakable? Humor me, are you really trying breed a new race of Super Blast-Ended Skrewts to use in a war against the French wizarding community?"
"The truth of our work is a great deal less amusing."
"I refuse to believe your work is boring. I'm sure you're working on something utterly fascinating, like trying to unlock the mysteries of the human soul."
"...Do you find the human soul fascinating?"
"Well, yes, I suppose I do. It is the very essence of who we are. It transcends death itself. That's what makes the Dementors so utterly terrifying. They weren't just destroying your body, they were destroying your very being. You can exist without a body, ghosts are proof of that...but your soul is everything."
WHEN HOGWARTS ISN'T ENOUGH...• "I really like the site so far, particularly, the fact that you guys emphasize roleplays over anything else." •
• "I love to role play Harry Potter and this site is just... perfect! I've finally found an active site! Let me tell you I love it already!" •
• "It takes collaboration to a whole new level." •
• "The admins aren't obnoxious, and they don't push around the members or make them feel like sludge. They constantly make an effort to improve the forum and it seems like every time I log on, I find something new to marvel over." •
• "I love that there isn't one set plot and that not everyone has to conform to fit one plot. You basically have free reign and that makes having a character here that much better. You're not limited to certain qualities. It was easy registering and everyone here is AMAZING. Friendly and inclusive. I feel welcome." •
• "I've never been to a higher level Harry Potter board that is so active! I love it!" •
• "This place is the awesome sh*t." •
WELCOME TO AFTER GRADUATION• AU Post-DH, post-Hogwarts HP RPG • • PG-13 • Intermediate/Advanced • Non-linear • APC • • RULES • PLOT • Q&A • TANGLED THREADS • ADVERTISE • • Innovative Plotting Center • Open Application • Originals-Based • Adult witches & wizards focused • • Over four months old • Never inactive or snobby •

Elenlond - August 31, 2008 06:29 AM (GMT)
Hmmm well, Elenlond is an original medieval fantasy Rp rated intermediate because the word count is set at 100. We are active, have super friendly members and staff who are also very helpful, and we sport a unique abilities system that allows you to have full customization over your character (for magic, especially). Our rating is PG-13, although that's more for sexual content than it is for cursing or substance abuse or violence. We have a plot in the works with one of the nations, and you definitely won't have to be an admin. XD I know the feeling of admining - it can really get to you sometimes. If you're interested, please see below. =)
Elenlond...
A land of mystery, beauty, and power.
In recent times there has been some upheaval as those of the free lands - known as both the Scattered and the Middle Isles - begin to fear the power that the deities exercise over the two main continents, Esiria and Soare. Although no god has endeavoured to conquer the free isles, the people still fear. And there is talk that some have formed groups in Esiria and Soare in support of removing the deities, those who invaded their homeland.
The deities did not choose Elenlond, although they certainly named it. After their original homeland, Mianor, imploded on itself and the world began to devour its own entity, the gods gathered as many of their surviving citizens as they could, pushing them through the largest of the rifts that had begun to form in Mianor. There they travelled, weary from their travels, uncertain of their future.
This time was known as The Great Migration.
It lasted for many weeks - perhaps even months; few kept journals of their journey, and many perished along the way - but eventually, there was an end in sight. The people of the old land plunged into the new and it was named Elenlond. Once they were settled, the people could only breathe:
Our Celestial Haven.
Elenlond has been around for several years, although it recently underwent renovations. Although we sport 60+ members, we are looking for active, dedicated people who will join and help activity to blossom. Our members are friendly, chatty, and we love new people. So, if you're interested, by all means join! We'd love to have you.
Badfaith - August 31, 2008 06:58 AM (GMT)
If your into Starwars...and supernatural creatures I think Angels is just right for you, if a bit different than what your used to. ; ) The plot is very in depth but the possibilities are nearly endless.
It's pretty much a huge ongoing EPIC sci-fi mystery with a dash of fantasy here and there.

Kwentra - August 31, 2008 11:20 AM (GMT)
Yay! brownie points for speaking. Hello!
The site that I run (and would love you to join if it's right for you) is Legends of Man. We are a medieval based fantasy board set in an alternative reality (so you don't have to know the ins and outs of medieval Enland or wherever to play)
We certainly allow races such as Vampires and Werewolves, along with all the other standard high fantasy races like Elves, Dwarves etc. We are also very happy to accept magic users.
Our community is good, our people are friendly and anyone can get involved. Despite the fact we have 300+ profiles registered, please don't be put off by the size. I don't delete people when they become inactive as they are ALWAYS welcome to return, we have a core group of players of about 15-20 who play on a regular basis with several characters.
We are original so not based on LOTR, Twilight, Potter or anything of the like. We have a main plot that involves two families and their supporters, we also have 3 rebel guilds trying to take the throne. There should be something for everyone.
I hope you enjoy having a look around and I am available via PM, MSN or Email if you have any questions, now or in the future.
Sam
Board Name: Legends of Man
Board URL: Legends of M A N"Fifteen Hundred Years have passed in the current age of man. The multitude of creatures I have created have come together to live in relative harmony. However, unrest has reared its ugly head. Two families fight for the throne: the Aloch family and the Mon'dia family.
Both families have a long history of conflict. From the moment I created both, I could see the world was not big enough to comfortably hold them all. However, by that time, it was too late for my intervention.
The Mon'Dia have many supporters, and they are popular. A family who base their ruling on the arts, on music, dancing and joy. A beautiful family- but of very little substance. They could not bring themselves to uphold laws.
The Aloch too have their supporters. The Aloch are useful; They are full of ideas and wisdom, and they are resourceful. In their own way, they too are a beautiful family. They ruled with more strength and upheld laws. As can be expected, they are not so popular amongst the criminal element.
Both families fight with force. Both wish to claim the throne. Both claim their right to it. Their hatred for one another has reached a fever pitch, and both families are using their sway to influence my creatures to join the fight. Treason, Murder, Tactics, Military Operations, Espionage. It has grown into a war.
A war for freedom, a war for Illiria, a war for their lives...
This world is not only for those that are human, for my creativity spans far beyond the simple human being. From those who cannot die, to those who are forced to walk the this world cursed to live in death. Those of pointed ear, winged back or beastly heart. All inhabit the earth I created, all live through me..."

» THESE HARBOR LIGHTS «IN A TURNSTILE, BACKWARDS WE FLY, LITTLE ONE, JUST A LITTLE WAY
You thought your life was boring. Dull. Normal. You live in Washington DC and you thought you're life was just a conglomeration of politics, bills, and gas prices. You thought that nothing extraordinary ever happened, that magic was dead, and that fantasy was something found in comic books and role playing games.
Well, you'd be wrong.
Welcome to the Harbor, a portal to another world. Another world, where magic reigns, where magical creatures roam free, and where a dark force is currently ruling. Euphrania, once ruled by two benevolent brothers, is now in ruins, a disagreement between the two sending their world into perpetual darkness. A man of non-royal blood now rules, creating dissent in the people and the very nature of Euphrania. His evil magic is too great to be reckoned with. The only hope for the people of Euphrania is to see a human of true royal blood on the throne once more, but where have they all gone? They've been scattered across Euphrania and the United States. These men and women of royal Euphranian blood are just like you and me, and most will live their life without ever knowing their true place. However, if found by the evil forces of Euphrania, these men and women will no doubt be disposed of... their only hope is to be found first by the good-natured people of Euphrania.
Of course, though, this is not even the beginning. This is the United States, so of course the government has to be involved.
The President has always known of Euphrania, and, since the creation of democracy within the Americas, each president has decided to keep the existence of the other world a secret. But these are different times. These are times of terrorists and murderers and thievery and rape. The current president has decided to create a faction, housed within the CIA, known as the Agency for the Betterment of US / Euphrania Relations, also called-- in a move of foreshadowing, perhaps?-- ABUSER. ABUSER is separated into several divisions, specializing in both research and reconnaissance. ABUSER's agents travel regularly to Euphrania.
But ABUSER is not, as its namesake would suggest, good.
The current President does not like Euphrania. Its existence threatens the very sanity of the world. And so, he has charged ABUSER with luring the people of Euphrania into a false relationship based on camaraderie and trade. When this is achieved, ABUSER will annihilate all of Euphrania, leaving nothing. No traces of the people, places, and magic that once existed. The good people of Euphrania already dislike these newcomers, considering ABUSER has decided to side with the Dark Lord in power for the time being. The Dark Lord has charged ABUSER with several jobs.
One: Destroy all who threaten his will.
Two: Destroy all of supposed royal blood.
Three: Using their technology, attempt to create a replica of a royal human in order to fully capture the throne or Euphrania.
ABUSER is, at the time, fully complying.
Where do you stand? Who are you? 'Cause, man, is this fantasy shit as real as ever, You better pick a side, before a side picks you.
Tapestry - August 31, 2008 02:39 PM (GMT)
Well, HTM can always use more werewolves! We are based off of the world premise of the Anita Blake series of books, but has basically just taken the concepts behind things and left the canon behind. We have two packs of werewolves to choose from (both could use some love!) alongside other shapeshifters, psychics, animators (capable of raising zombies) and we're in the process of bringing in vampires as well.
Description: It's 2008 and vampires and lycanthropes alike are legalized citizens of the United States, recognized as more than monsters and endowed with their own rights. But that doesn't mean everything is okay.
New Orleans is slowly but surely recovering from Hurricane Katrina. A city known for chaos, it is finally getting back on its feet thanks in part to its were community. But that isn't to say it's safe.
Hounding The Moon focuses on a city that's been controlled by shapeshifters for the better part of a century. Things change, though. Discrimination is never far, and with it the possibility of the day-to-day world coming down on you. The threat of a takeover looms on the horizon -- the vampires want their city back -- and out there in the swamps, someone is watching, and waiting.
Requirements: Hounding The Moon is an 18+ game which is focused predominantly between instant messaging (AIM) and message board role-play. The primary character influence in-game are currently lycanthropes (prone to change as the story progresses), but we are also looking for people to play the human variety as well: normal folks, animators, witches, psychics, RPIT officers, etc.
We are not currently accepting applications for vampires, but that will change once the game gets off its feet and the game-wide storyline progresses.

Everybody knows everybody
Everybody calls you friend

In the Appalachian mountains that are located on the very western edge of the state is located a small town called Clearwater, that was founded next to the Lake that gave the town it's name and on the main trade, Horsemanship. The town is centered all about horses and everything to do with Equine science; From horseback riding to horse racing in Kentucky. The town was founded in 1703 by Donathon Payne who's direct descendant runs his ranch and is the Agriculture Teacher at Clearwater High; But was founded on Ranching. It started with a small out lying ranch that drew in people and more ranches and soon because of the un naturally clear water that was in the lake the town was christened Clearwater, Virginia.
You don't need an invitation
Kick off your shoes, come on in

Here you will play the various people that in habit the town, from the crazy high school students that are horse crazy or the one's who are ready to escape their country roots and fly the hen house to the city. There is also other people available, from ranch hands to Equine vets and well everything else a community needs to survive and it's all up to you, will you step up and ride in the saddle of a teenager or the saddle of anyone?
Yeah we know how to work and we know how to play
We're from the country and we like it that way

How about all of those together?
take aglance over at roleplay refuge if you have time or inclination. we're a small, very relaxed, and open community, needing no applications or special registration styles for usernames, and we cover every genre. We haven't got any set difficulty level, though we have members ranging from beginners to intermediate at the moment, and usually the posts you get will be around the posts you give and what there is to work with in it. we have almost no limitations, save the usual no godmoding/metagaming/powerplaying, and allow every race you can think up. The site is pg-13, and higher ratings are permitted if well marked.

Well, I have magic for you- Lost in a Dream is set mostly in an original fantasy world that somewhat resembles Ancient Greece. It's one of three (currently) games hosted at Dreaming Out Loud. Come give us a look!
| QUOTE |
What if, one night, you went to sleep and woke up in another world? A world that in its own way is as real as the one you'd just left; where actions have consequences, where pain and hunger and joy are all felt. An unbelievable world of gods and myth and magic. For some, it's reality; each night as they drift off to sleep, they awaken in a world that they cannot resist. An ancient world of mystery and adventure, just waiting for someone to take up the challenge. Every night, it is their refuge, their haven, from a concrete world of deadlines and disappointments. But what happens when you don't want to wake up? What happens when you'd rather be Lost in a Dream? Set in an original fantasy world. Tammi - August 31, 2008 05:54 PM (GMT)
Werewolves, you say? Well,
'Souls is strictly a werecanine rpg-- we've got werewolves, werecoyotes, weredingoes, weredogs, and one werejackal at the moment. Any canine (of the genus
canis) has the ability to shift into a were form. All werewolves are 'luperci' and have three forms: their wolf form (Lupus), halfling form (Secui, a mix between the wolf and the were) and the were form (Optime).
It's set in a post-apocayltic world-- Nova Scotia, Canada, in fact. Humans are nearing extinction, and werecanines have climbed to the top of the food chain. It's an alternate current-era rpg, so it's set in 2008.
The plot is fairly simple, and a lot of what we do is based on in character events. We've been around since November of 2001, so a lot has happened since the board was created. We have a lot of boardwide plots going on, which anyone can participate in if they choose, which is essentially our 'plot.'
We're rated PG-13, but we allow mature threads if they are appropriately marked as such. We're a more mature board in this aspect, and we've seen all sorts of crazy plots in the past, trust me, haha.
We've got around 50 member and ~70 characters, so we're not huge in any sense. We're extremely active, so there's almost always someone around looking to thread or plot!
If you're interested, feel free to PM me for a bit more information. There's a lot I can cover, but it would make this post huuuge, haha. If you are interested in joining, we have no canons-- every character is an 'original' so to speak. We do have
open characters, which are mostly family of other characters currently played. :3
There's a lot to check out, and our
website contains all the rules and the joining procedure, while our
roleplaying guide has all the information on the werecanines we play (luperci).
I hope you take a look! (:
| QUOTE ('Souls RPG) |

'Souls is a post-apocalyptic world. Humans have long extinguished themselves with a military virus, yet the wildlife persists. The Canis family in particular seemed to adapt very well and evolved the ability to change into a bipedal from, the Luperci. Others have not, the Luperci Nonnisi. Some embrace this newfound gift, others loathe it with passion. Some treasure the shifting ability, some grapple with it...
Following the end of the cold war, a project to attempt to create a 'super soldier' through genetic modification was initiated. The test subject, however, contracted a common flu - or some sort of virus - and simple cold mutated. Whether it was sabotage or an accident, somehow the work made to improve the soldier neglected to address their immune system. The human could jump higher and run faster, but if they contracted pneumonia, or even the flu, it was all over for them. In six months, the human population was decimated; all by what was once the flu. Government efforts to contain the virus failed miserably, and ninety-seven percent of the human population died.
That same virus, however, had an altogether different effect on canines. Rather than killing them off, it gave the canines new abilities: that of shifting into a were form. With this newfound gift, wolves quickly rose to becoming the dominant specie in the world, calling themselves the Luperci.
Since 2001, 'Souls has provided an interesting and stimulating in character experience to roleplayers of many skill levels and ages. Our In Character environment provides an experience for both those wishing to roleplay wolves as well as those who wish to play a character beyond the average wolf. Our Out of Character environment is friendly and laid-back, with contests, games and other fun things for members to participate in. Discussions, debates, and questions are welcome and encouraged. Bleeding Souls is always looking to add new members to its ranks!
'Souls has been a consistent and favorable roleplaying environment for all roleplayers. The general game rating is PG-13. More mature threads are welcomed though, as long as they are clearly marked. The administration is experienced and fair. The general population of the game is more than willing to help out any newcomers to the experience.
Check 'Souls out today on our domain, bleeding-souls.com or on our forums.
We hope to see you soon! |

You're in luck, then, cause I hate posting the ad anyways.
Right-o then. Althea is a Pokermaz RPG, commonly translated to Pokemon by people who are probably much smarter than me. You go around beating the shit out of a bunch of screwed up animals with your flying clock or death turtle or whatever, and as you kill them, you get arrested by PETA experience to levelup, which grants even more brutal ways to beat the crap out of wild animals, new forms for your death turtle or other chosen partner in awesomeness (ex: even bigger death turtle with CANNONS GROWING OUT OF HIS FREAKIN' SHOULDERS), and probably a bigger e-penis or something.
If you don't just want to kill things, though, you could beat them almost to death then enslave them, which is obviously a much better idea than just killing them - the more things you almost kill then enslave, the better you can kill and kill some more!
Oh, uh, and there's some plot going on that's pretty much player-driven and cool, but I sorta want to keep rambling about the Pokemon so screw that. Rating is R for AWESOME, difficulty is beginner/intermediate, though we do have quality requirements to get rid of one-liners and other really short posts. We're the #1 Zetaboards RPG, Pokemon or otherwise, so... yeah, at least you know we're not a fly-by-night piece of crap that'll be dead in two weeks. For the time question, I'm going to say AU present; it's ostensibly 2008, but Pokemon has all that badass technology we don't... like LASERS. And TELEPORTATION and other things that make it awesome.
Also, we rock.

Both of these are a bit of a stretch, but I thought I'd throw them out there ^^;;

Humankind, at its core, is not always the kindest of races. More often than not, however, civilization will lean towards the side of peace, if not universal, then reasonably wide spread. It is in these eras that an outside force will move in, tainting the peace so carefully maintained and taint it with the purest evil they can muster.
In a time long before human recording, before the human race as we know it, there lay the Silver Millennium, a period of peace, advancement, and enlightenment. Such peace, though, will often have those seeking to destroy it. It just happened in this case that a powerful evil, the Negaverse, was the antagonist in this story, waging a seemingly endless war that resulted in the ruin of the Moon Kingdom and those around it. At this point, there was no chance of repair to the human race, and so was left a blank canvas on which the human race could recreate itself.
The Earth of today is hardly the peaceful civilization of an era past remembrance. Wars between countries, petty jealousies, and self-fulfillment seem to be in fashion, however the age-old practices of friendship and kindness die hard, and are still very firmly in place. It is into this world that the most prominent figures of the Silver Millennium – less its queen – have been reborn, without any memories of the past they once had.
Instead, they have been awakened as Sailor Senshi, fighting against the evil that, once again, has reared its head. Though the Dark Kingdom’s intentions this time are not to take over the world, the toll their endeavors place upon humanity to achieve their true goal – to free Queen Metaria, and to then make their world their own – is such that Sailors Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus have been left with no choice but to sacrifice a normal life in order to keep their world intact.
History tends to repeat itself, and in the thirtieth century, a new Silver Millennium has been created. Once again, though, an evil threatens to spoil the peace so carefully maintained. The Black Moon Clan, for reasons unknown, is systematically laying siege to the borders of Crystal Tokyo, looking for any give that they can use to take its core. Peace is again disrupted, slowly spreading seeds of doubt that a true utopia can ever be achieved. From princess, to modern-day teenager, to superhero, to queen, however, Serenity and those closest to her will not go down without a fight.
Time After Time is a multi-era, no-collision roleplay based on the Sailor Moon anime and manga. While we encourage canon characters, we will always welcome originals, who are free to involve themselves in the overall storyline, or focus simply on the “real-life” aspects.

200 years have passed since the immortals were sealed away. In the generations to follow, they exist only in tales to amuse the children of kingdoms such as Tortall. The country's capital, Corus, is filled with citizens from all walks of life, each living, from day to day, as well as they can manage - some more legally than others.
The palace is abuzz. Not only has one of the Conté princesses become betrothed, but her Carthaki fiancé has come to Corus – for all that the wedding is half a decade away. With him have come banquets, balls, a tournament, and scores of newcomers, from courtiers to slaves. Not all of the visitors, however, have arrived to wish the couple well; any good spy knows the best time to move in.
Too, mages bring bad news. Suggestions of a poor harvest come autumn leaves city residents unsure which would be worse: higher taxes in order to pay for food imports, or a winter starvation. With such uncertainty in the air, many have begun to turn to the Court of the Rogue for help – but at the moment, the Rogue isn’t the happiest of places, either.
Outwardly, the country is at peace. Inwardly, though, old prejudices die hard. While the war with the Yamani Islands has since ended, the Yamani who make their home in Corus still face residual bitterness, making a hard life even harder. Word of skirmishes along Tortall’s southern border reaching the streets has the potential to create another public enemy, Mithros slay any resident who suggests the true enemy might lie within the city’s walls.
In a place such as this, everything can change at a moment’s notice, and never shall any day be ordinary in CORUS |

Entry CXI'I lived in the City of Antigonus, Novus’ager; a medium continent smack dab in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. We were on top of our game; had the sewage system placed under out city with running water and even gas lamp for lighting. Things were looking up to us on our place called home. But if you are reading this then you will notice I said ‘
lived’…
Not long ago things started changing; our nights became starless and the wolves in our forest were becoming to come closer and louder in vocals and size. Sightings of large serpent like creatures, bears and even jungle cats were starting to show up at the edges of our City! My god, I though I ventured the forest through enough to know there were no jungle cats in the first place! How did they get there and how are they getting so big?
Then our idea of an apocalypse came; not fast but slow and torturing. Bodies drained of all of their life force; didn’t matter the age or statues, you could be a holy man or an innocent child; we kept finding bodies in the streets after a dark night. Some said psychopathic killers from another continent made it into the city walls as others; the elders of our humble city pointed fingers to witchcraft and things from storybooks and legends like Vampires. Though many laughed in their face… they are the ones laughing now if they made it out of the city.
It came hard and fast when a hurricane came off of the coast; bodies of some of our beloved and faces that had no name at all came from the darkness of the forest and sewers pale as clouds on a sunny day that combed the streets killing some innocence but it wasn’t to feed… no it was their way of luring out the strong to do the same thing they did to the innocent. We had no chance; we had to run and hide. Many went out of city limits and into the forest; but they were fast almost too fast. Many fell from exhaustion to be captured and dragged back to the city but by sunrise the city was sealed off from other escaping.
For the rest of us, we were lost in the wilderness incapable of fending or feeding ourselves. Through our exhaustion and hunger we were found by humans that lived in the forest we thought were hermits. If only we paid more attention. Fera they called themselves; looked, acted, ate and felt like humans but angered or other circumstances, they changed into animals. They aided us to get back on our feet and fight for what was ours in the beginning but most of all they gave us
hope…
Some of us will survive and fight; But for others they will be Left behind…

I have a werewolf one...
Under the hum of the power lines and on the beaches of the city, there is an explosion getting ready to be set off."I didn't do it! I don't even know her!"
It all started this past summer when the body of fifteen year old Sarah O'Connely was found brutally mutilated and raped. One of the last words she uttered was "Kale". Kale Sherman is the president of the local Kappa Sigma fraternity chapter, and unfortunately Sarah was the little sister of their rival fraternity Delta Thi's president Allen O'Connely. This case became weirder as the DNA that was collected from the crime scene came back as wolf's DNA. The case was immediately covered up and rendered close, so as not to damage the reputation of one of the town's most beloved families. It was soon forgotten by most."Our Pack is our Pride, betray one betray us all"

Almost, see what only a few people know is that the most prestigious and exclusive fraternities Kappa Sigma and Delta Thi and their sister sororities Sigma Kappa and Delta Gamma are actually underground organizations of werewolves. The two rival packs have been at each others throats for years, and now with the death of Allen's little sister the fuse has been lit, so it's only matter of time."You're too close to matter, let it go. Let this school year be different."
With the new school year starting for both the high school and the college. The one question on everyone's mind is did Kale kill Sarah? Is there perhaps another killer on the loose? and How long will it before some one sets of the war between the two clans?

Set It Off is a intermediate role play that combines; mystery fantasy, and drama all into one big game. Come enter this land and see what will happen, when some get's ready to light the fuse and

Alternate History, you say?
---
Board Name: Age of Destiny
Url: http://z4.invisionfree.com/Age_of_Destiny/Theme: Cold War AU featuring superheroes and supervillains.
Description:Welcome to a world where men in capes can fly.
Welcome to a world where the Cold War wasn’t cold.
Welcome to a world where the theories of a German Expatriate hold to power to destroy the fabric of reality itself.
The year is 2008.
Welcome to New Atlantis City.
---
In the wake of the 1989 “M-Day” bombing, the world has been transformed. When a Russian missile destroyed New York City, it also tore holes in the fabric of reality and gave birth to a generation of meta-humans… a generation of potential super-heroes, composed of irradiated mutants, castaways from other worlds, and victims of both mad and terrifyingly sane science.
New technology is on the rise, as well as a whole new scope of possibilities. But also on the rise are crime, poverty, and corruption. The city of New Atlantis, once a haven for the lost, has turned into a grandiose slum, slowly tearing itself apart from the inside. Enter the masked revolution – a movement of vigilantism that has been sweeping the nation. Villains and Heroes have clamored from the dust of M-Day and the Dark Wednesday earthquake.
It is here for you to decide:
Will this be an age of chaos?
Or an
Age of Destiny?

Heya! We're an original sci-fi fantasy board that has a lot of creative plots and characters, as well as active, helpful members and staff. Being that you're interested in werewolves and the like, there is a race that is human/psionic ( mutant ) spliced with animal DNA- for certain reasons of course. Take a look around and if you have any questions or just want to get to know the people, feel free to stop by the cbox. =)

The world is caught in a vicious cycle, and left to
the new generation are the sins of the past.
Out of greed and sloth, a new enemy was born.
The dragons rose from beneath the earth, woken
to find their own
murdered for reasons unknown.
Their wrath destroyed the world, leaving humanity
with only one hope for salvation.
Considering themselves the new master race, Psionics
took their
proper place as the reluctant protectors of humanity.
Equally powerful, the dragons and Psionics fought for years.
Each coming to a standstill, neither gaining any ground.
Using forgotten labs, experiments were created, designed
to take over the fight.
While the children of humanity were being born as second class citizens,
treated as little more than slaves to the people who saved them,
a small group fought for freedom. With too many failed attempts
and spies in their midst, their only prayer is to find allies among Dragons,
the Suwani people and their clever
nésemóono.
Allies that could potentially change everyone's fate.
It is a weak world in a flux of change.
Just remember,
No one is safe - everyone is at risk.
Friendly staff + Encouraging members =
An addictive and fun time for all!We are all caught up in

mkay. i know we look like a fandom based site.
(maybe 'cause we are ... but minor detail)
and it's terribly daunting to join such a thing
when you may know next to nothing about
the fandom, but seriously, we don't care if you
know the fandom or not. why? well ...
one; we're AU. since i made the site, we're going
by what i feel like. and i don't feel like following
the rules. ' when stars collide is about sailor moon,
yes. but that's not our main focus. we're looking
to get into these characters' heads and hearts.
we're looking to roleplay their everyday lives
before the magic and earth saving business
begins. monsters and mayhem are merely
two; originals are always welcome. they're
the people we'd really like to see. they're
the ones the canons get to interact with and
develop those crazy love interests, drama filled
frenemy spats, and the teenage rebellion with
hard working parents .... we want the teenage
drama. we want adults that sigh and roll their eyes.
we want fights to break out, relationships to blow up,
and a whole lot of interacting to go on.
three; the staff likes to answer questions whenever
you have one. the members like to tackle you for
simply lurking around. and yea, we'd love you like you
wouldn't believe if you joined. there's always someone
on, and there's always someone willing to post with you,
whether you take slightly longer to reply back or not.
trust me, we should have you covered.
' ' fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight
never running from a real fight, she is the one named sailor moon ' '
. . . . . .
there is a tale as old as time
that tells of the ultimate battle between good and evil.
during the reign of the silver millennium
the majestic silver queen banished the vile negaverse
to the far reaches of the universe,
destroying the moon kingdom in her unyielding fury.
and rather than see loved ones die a tragic death
she gathered their souls to cast them to earth
knowing that one day they would be reborn
and a new era of peace would begin.
but as was said before, it is only a mythical tale ...
yet we all know that with every tale there is a grain of truth.
it is now the twenty-first century in tokyo, japan
and those once mythical souls of old are awakening
to a slightly darker reality.
the dark alliance of old has come
to occupy the final frontier: earth.
the only ones that can stop it are an ancient class of warriors,
the sailor guardians, united under a new leader.
so the tale goes on, and history begins anew,
for the next battle is set to begin ' when stars collide. . . . . .
' when stars collide is not strictly a fandom based site. we also offer forums for a simple, almost free form real life style roleplay. your characters can simply enjoy our version of tokyo and interact with canons in their simple lives, or create your own destiny with other original characters. make a subplot just for you, or join up with others. this site is what you make it to be.

Gah I know, being an admin sucks, especially when you really like the story but you can't rp cause you have to play admin. Or when you get those really difficult rper's where you're the admin so you try to be nice but I mean seriously there's only so far... What was I doing here oh yeah I got a site or whatever, it just opened. I really like the story and plot and everything but it seems like it'll be a bit... hassle to rp and admin at the same time so what I think I'm going to do is give up my canon. :( . Its my favorite role too, but that's why I wanna give it up cause I'd rather see it get played to its fullest y'know? To be honest I'm not even sure if I have the chops for him anyway. He's a Boston detective, straight form Southie, South Boston, in this love hate relationship with his job. He loves finding the clues and tracking down the bad guys, he's good at it y'know, but he hates the politics of it all. Well that's normal for any job right, but it just feels like an whole other level of hypocrisy when your job is suppose to be all about justice and righteous. Well he's not that naive as to believe all that but he does think they as police should be held to a higher standard. So what happens when the biggest case in the news gets tossed in his lap. The story starts off with an National Hero found dead in his home a day after accepting the metal of honer on national tv and becoming the new media darling. Well if this was just a murder case that be easy right? To bad the guy had to blow his own head off. Now that can't get out to the media, the metal of honor recipient committing suicide and worst yet, the letter he left behind was riddle with nation secrets, and by secrets I mean crimes. Crimes the hero himself took part in, and just when you thought it couldn't get worst he starts rambling off about the existence of witches. Yes witches, and the secret government organization formed to hunt and capture them for experiments that are nothing short of crimes against humanity. The type of things you can't even do to animals without getting arrested. And if everything in this letter is true there's a little girl being held there, forced to participate in these crimes, that needs your help. So what do you do, what does he do. His superiors wants all this to just disappear, of course he was just an old man who saw to much action and it all just caught up to him which lead to his suicide. Protect his honor, call it all an accident and close the case. It sounds so easy, the right then to do right? But what if it wasn't just the ramblings of an old crazy man, and there really is someone out there, witch or human, that you swore to protect needs your help? Do you risk your job, your life? All this on just some average Joe from South Boston who saw crime everyday when he was a kid and how much it hurt and wanted to help stop it. And that's just from one aspect of the story, there's the view of the witches that are being hunter, the hunter that are being investigated and just the normal day people who have no idea whats really going on in the world around them... I guess after all that for me to just leave without even posting a link or anything would be kinda weird soooo. You can ignore the plot if you want its more of the same of the above but its from the other point of view and a good read if you ask me. The links at the bottom, maybe I'll see you there.
I offer you Project: Salem.
Set in the near future, Project: Salem is a modern day witch hunt. Rated N.C. 17 for the big kids in us, I think this might be what you're looking for.
To whom it may concern,
However I'm not sure whom would be to concern with the ramblings of this old man any longer. But I still sit and write, I suppose we all want our story's told one way or another, for a man with no family I assume this type of letter is the obvious choice... Choices, the ones we have and the ones we do not, isn't that how these stories always being. For me, a man of my position, to speak of such explanations as the god or the devil is out of the question. However I have no choice for that is the only way I can even begin to phantom what I've witnessed during my time with Salem.
How that word brings back memories, ones not even this old corpse can forget. They told me I couldn't speak of it, S.a.l.e.m., the "Secret Association in League towards the Exploration of Magic." That was our official title but I'm no longer sure if I can believe even that anymore. Is what we were doing really exploration? The more I think about it the less I can accept it. No, I've always known somewhere, deep down, that wasn't exploration, it was extermination.
Oh god how many have I killed? How stained are these hands, that fumble to write these lines, in blood? It sickens me, just the thought of the pain I've caused, and the horror of her face keeps me from my sleep: hunting my nightmares. Its gotten so hard to even shut my eyes, that face, that face of an angle and a demon torturing me. Damned hand, stop your accursed shaking how many times will you force me to write this letter. Let me continue before I lose what little nerve I have left.
You may find this next part hard to believe, even after what I've witness I still have troubles believing. Enough with the run around, I've always been a direct man, that's how Ive lived my life, there's no reason to change now. Salem was created with the sole priority to hunt and capture witches. After they were caught they were taken back to our labs where they were probed, prodded, and experiment upon until ultimately there was nothing left to test: at which then they were disposed of permanently.
Then I believe what I was doing was protecting my country like any good soldier, and believe me I was damn good. You see I say was because; a good soldier never questions his superiors, he carries out his orders without hesitation and most importantly he keeps his country's secrets to himself: yes I was damn good once upon a time. But after what I've seen, at the end of my life I've begun to doubt what is most important. Is it being a good soldier, or a good human. I know I'm going to hell for the sins I've committed, there's no doubt about that, so this letter isn't the redemption of my soul but a plea for the rest of the ones I've destroyed.
I can't name them all, hell I can't even count them all, the live I've ended. But one, it stands out, I wish it didn't for it hunts me so, but it stands out. Her name I do know, Anisette Marie, I made sure they spelled it right on her tombstone. Beautiful girl with the saddest eyes I've ever seen. I suppose anyone's would be so sad witnessing there parents murdered before them. She was but a mere child and yet she still stood up to her parents' killers and in front of those monsters she summoned what little power she had to keep us away from their lifeless bodies.
I reacted like a soldier, like I was train to when facing a threat. No matter how big or small you crush it. I remember her name, I remember her face, I remember the weight of her lifeless body in my arms. She bleed the same blood, she cried the same tears, as did her parents. And from that day on I was no longer a good soldier. I questioned, I disobeyed, and now, on this tear stained pad I'm telling the secret: to whomever will listen. Here is my secret, here is my country's secret. I still felt heart beat...
I sincerely wish I hadn't,
Sergeant Major, James T. FieldsImagine yourself a detective, you stumble upon a scene of an decorated officer in front of you, and a little over here and a some more over there on the wall. He no longer looks familiar but the name still rings clear, how couldn't it its been everywhere in the news. This years metal of honor recipient put a bullet threw his head a day after accepting the damned thing, how the news'll love to get a hold of this story. Sometimes they can just make you so sick you need a ci... right, right no smoking in the crime scene.
As you put that rectangular box of heaven back in you nameless officer one hands you the blood soaked letter in a plastic bag. Great your job just got tougher, "James T. Fields is a national hero... he will be missed dearly... the cause of death was accidental... a gun malfunction..." Gah who would believe that, a decorated soldier accidentally shoots himself in the face while cleaning his firearm. And this letter just put the final nail in the coffin, although you're sure that the higher up's will make this disappear too, they already have there story so why are you here. Well to keep up appearances no doubt. You have that promotion coming up and you'd hate to be passed by again, right?
So you do like a good little flunky should; you keep your mouth shut, when they call the press conference you stand there as the detective heading up the case, you give you sincerest condolences for the loss, and you rule the case as an accident and close it. That's what you'd do right? That's what Detective Avery Nickolas did, or was suppose to do. Stepping up to the podium he clear his trough repeating his sincerest condolences for the loss when his chief by his side nodding in agreement. Just the sight made Avery's stomach turn into knots so when it came time for the ruling he paused before delivering the phase that lunched a news frenzy.
"Ahem, James T. Fields was and is a national hero who's unexpected death affect the lives of many... he will be missed dearly. As of now the cause of death will be ruled as an accidental... gun malfunction.... However during the course of the investigating there was a discovery of possible evidence to a different crime. That is all the information we have until further investigation, any questions please addressed to the chief. Thank you."
