It all began in 1692. There was so much death and destruction that families were torn apart, and neighbors became suspicious of each other. Many began to see the ruin humans could cause and fled the countries and cities of their youth in search of haven elsewhere. Some found their way to St. Anthony’s Island and the town of Little Salem.
Those who were considered mythical beings joined together for protection and survival and so began the Treaty of Three, a treaty designed to protect the humans as well as the vampires, the werewolves and the witches.
The rules were simple enough: no harm was to come to any human; no human should ever learn the existence of these groups; and no member of the treaty was to purposely hurt another member of the treaty. Any violation of these rules meant death for all those involved.
Well, strange humans with the hell-bent intention of making myths extinct have begun arriving on the island. A vampire belonging to the more peaceful of the bloodsuckers’ families has been murdered, and found alongside an innocent human. And the Treaty has been broken by the ‘child’ of one of its original creators.

so lets say your a celebrity. your living the life nothing can go wrong you know it. but sometimes fame is to much especially if your a teenager you cant make your own mistakes with out the world reading about it the next day. now normal life is looking better and better every day. life in la is looking shittier and shittier as each morning comes and your face is in the papers. what if there was a school that promised normalcy where you can go to school with other celebrity teens and normal teens. where only the celebrities know about the schools secret and the normal kids are there for the schools arts program.

so now you have four years to be normal get a part time job make friends that youll keep for the rest of your life although they dont know your really the guy they crushed on from the movie. or the girl they fell in love with. or for that matter who they wish they were. they have no idea what they wish to become is something your running away from and that you wish to have their life.

even though your running from hollywood you still have to do premieres, make movies, put out records and interviews. right? or else hollywood would suspect something if 50 teen idols picked up and left right? so even though you've escaped your still pulled back in from time to time and when you go you remember why your in the crappy town in Indiana in the first place. stardom isnt all its cracked up to be.

but how long can you stay hidden with out hollywood figuring out where your coming from or for that matter the normal students to figure out that your the guy they have the hots for. and run you out of the school? when you fall in love can you trust the girl to keep the secret? or will she blab to her best friend and the entire town know? would you take her to a premiere? give her a wig and protect her identity? so many questions that will be answered.

We're a vampire RPG but humans are a very popular choice as well. It's easy to play a human who lives in NYC and never even gets into the vampire side of our tale, but where you take your character is entirely up to you. We love unique characters and have a great amount of gender diversity in our characters. We love new members and everyone is really friendly. This is the first site I've ever had where it was totally drama free.
We don't have a MILLION members but a good 15 of them are on daily and the really active ones each have around 4-6 characters, because they just can't get enough! Our standard for word count is 400+ words. Hope you like us and thanks for takin' a look ( if you do ;) ).

the parents arrive to take their ‘little darlings’ on home away
from the wreckage that was once the most prestigious and only
private school in charleston, south carolina.

unable to find anywhere else for the student body to finish their
education regency park’s four hundred or so population is shipped
off to the only other place in the town; charleston’s public high.
Have you ever walked into school in the morning knowing that
you’re one of the most hated people in the building? Have you
had your whole class ignore you because your father employs all
of theirs? The kids of Regency Park have. The difference between
them and you? They don’t care.
Raised as Charleston’s elite the rich bitches and spoilt brats of
Regency Park were brought up knowing they were better
than anyone else. They can wave their money at a problem and
it goes away; since birth they’ve never had to worry about a thing.
Now it’s all changed. Now they’re at public school and no one
here plays by the rules.
It seems like forever that the little Princes and Princesses from
Regency Park High have been lording it over you and your school.
They’ve strutted down the street, their families getting richer off
your family’s poverty. Apparently people couldn’t take it anymore.
Apparently somebody burnt down their school. And now they’re
here. Ready for you to take your revenge.
Everyone could take time to get to know each other like the principal
suggested; everyone could get along all happy and nice. And everyone
could have a fair chance at settling in.
But then it just wouldn’t be High School.

Ever looked around you and wondered about someones heritage? Sat next to the kid with the big canines and noticed a different kind of glint in their eye? No? Then clearly you need to expand your horizons. You must have heard the phrase 'not all that glitters is gold'. Well more adept term for this school would be 'not all that breathes is human'. Here in Sleepless Inch lives not just those who would claim themselves to be humans but those who would claim to be otherwise. There is no limit to what species of being one may find if they set foot in this slow paced village. But you may wonder what happens when families of such descents settle here, what happens with their children? Well those are the ones that find themselves enrolled in 'Inch Academy' a school that has no limits. All species mingle in the castle, those who are solely human to those who are very much far from it. But just because these kids rub shoulders everyday and sit together in history does not mean it is without conflict. There are those who think they are better than others and of course those who are just waiting to show them different. But what to expect in a high school that contains a multitude of beings?
Though even with these slight scuffles between species and the occasional battle of wills Inch Academy still remains one of the most prestigious and sought after boarding schools in Europe. It is noted that students from every corner of the Earth apply to the school and with luck they are usually accepted, such makes the school such a varied and versatile establishment. - Anyone who has walked through the front doors of North Hills, then down the posh, red carpet four years later at graduation, has, or will, somehow change the world. Whether for the good or bad, students at NHA have proved to be the nation's most elite. The alumni have made their marks in history books, and have changed the world. With ninty-nine years of graduating classes, the hundredth class to graduate North Hills Academy is getting restless. 'Souls is definitely active. We usually have around 10-15 people online, sometimes more (especially during the evening), and around 5 in the mornings.
It's set in a post-apocalyptic Nova Scotia, and humans are dead, gone. Werewolves and werecoyotes are the most popular species, but any creature of the genus canis has the ability to shift into a 'were' form.
There's a lot going on there, too! We have a lot of ooc contests and tons of ic contests and plots, as well as a decent amount of members. I think we have around 50 now, so we're not too big. We're extremely active, so there are plenty of people to plot with! :]

Our In Character environment provides an experience for both those wishing to roleplay wolves as well as those who wish to play a character beyond the average wolf. Our Out of Character environment is friendly and laid-back, with contests, games and other fun things for members to participate in. Discussions, debates, and questions are welcome and encouraged. Bleeding Souls is always looking to add new members to its ranks! 'Souls has been a consistent and favorable roleplaying environment for all roleplayers. The general game rating is PG-13. Our site is a freeform rpg. We do not limit the role-play with main plots but give our members the opportunity to explore exotic cultures, create characters of many walks of life and race, as well as indulge in the depth of our magic and Steamskills systems.

Seeing as we have a lack of main plot line, here's a bit about our current political situation:
The former King was lately found to have died of natural causes at the age of 35. Predicted cause of death was heart failure. Unknown to most, the result of his kingship's death was from a large quantity of Foxglove in his soup, which in small doses is classed as a drug used to aid those with weak hearts, yet large doses can prove fatal.
Following the death of the King, his child Alexander the III has taken up the role of monarch at the young age of 7 years old. Due to his age and inexperience, the Church has offered their services in helping run the Kingdom temporally until his 16th birthday when he can take his rightful position in the political world, seeing as his knowledge of the political world and faith will be up to acceptable standards.
Unknown to the public, the Church has lead the continent for the past 100 years by pulling such stunts similar to this one:
Monarchs have been used as political puppets, to be used when useful and discarded when posing a threat, much like the former king Alfred the IV. His Rule was cut shot due to a few outcries on his half against the Churches current place in the political world, (unaware, every decision he ever took as King was moulded by the Churches very hands). This lead to a momentary laps in the peoples respect for the Church. The Puppets strings were quickly cut away, opening a position for a new monarch, a new face for the church to hide there scheming behind.
