Redwood House School is an old private boarding school in the southeast of England, fifteen minutes away from the port city of Dover. The main school building and three of the houses were built in the 1600s, with the additional buildings and houses being built as the years went on. Originally, Redwood was an all-boys school, but it was eventually opened out to both genders.

The school offers a wide range of subjects, including 29 at GCSE level and 21 at A-level. Sports facilities include tennis courts, swimming pool, volleyball court, hockey/lacrosse pitch and football/rugby pitch, as well as an indoor gymnasium, fitness room and pool. There are also excellent music and art facilities. There are clubs for almost anything you could think of, too.

As the board is just getting started, we don't have a fixed plot yet, so why not just get settled in?

Heya SunnyPie,

We are a PG-13 rated over four year old RPG, and only have a 200 word minimum... or, in others words, two decently sized paragraphs. We are currently in the middle of a site wide plot that everyone is having so much fun with, and would love to welcome you into the family.

Hope you like what you see. If not, hope you find what you want elsewhere. Lol.

A lot has happened over the course of time, strength and growth clearly seen, as a new school year will inevitably bring more of the usual danger a resident of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters often faces. It seriously doesn’t help that Magneto‘s decision to open a new school of his own has seen many new mutants drawn to the Master of Magnetism's ideals. The Brotherhood Superiorum continues to grow strong, however, it's about to become no longer a school. Erik Magnus Lensherr cannot continue to inculcate his anti human ideals into the next generation if he has to constantly be looking after the duties being Principle entails!

No, it's time to simplify things so he can once again focus solely on the dream that mutants WILL one day reign supreme!

Who really wants to take sides though? Who really cares about either of their ideals? If that sounds like you, then DME is where you belong. Mana4X2's own concept created faction, Damien-Myne Enterprises, stretches over several cities, with its main office in New York City. Your boss is Colin Damien Myne, AKA Boilmet, founder and owner of this Freelance faction;; he offers you great accommodation, excellent pay, and the freedom to do whatever you want…

Cross him, though, and your life won’t be worth living! Boilmet will do whatever it takes to make sure nothing gets in the way of furthering his business… NOTHING, not even you.

And then there is talk that the Friends of Humanity are working on something to eradicate mutant kind and that The White Queen is slowly rebuilding the ranks of the Hellfire Club. Will the FoH succeed? Will the new HFC be stronger, or will it once again fall apart like it did the first time?

Who knows, because only time will tell…

Hi there! I'll shove Fairytale Nightmares in, though I don't know if its exactly what you're looking for. We're a post-apocolyptic RP set in the not too distant future. Our characters are humans, as opposed to faes or mutants or anything else, but other than that, I think we should be fine. FN's just opened, so it's a bit quiet at the moment, but there's always someone online, regardless of the timezone. (:

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."
~ Albert Einstein

The year is 2118. It is four years after the Great World War.

The Earth has come under the rule of the self-proclaimed Emperor, Emmanuel Roth. In his plot to rebuild the Earth from the ruins, he has colonised the planet and runs the world from his base in the Aerium, Brandenburg, Germany.

Roth’s theory is that the foundations of a strong society in the future come from the past. It is for this reason that Roth has returned the world to the years of the Victorians; his native Britain’s glory days. But with the good – technology, employment, architecture – comes the bad – murder, poverty, illness and death.

Life and death can be a snap decision, like the flip of a coin. Will you survive to see the Earth restored to its former glory?

Humanity is in a constant metamorphosis, however the basis of human nature stays constant. The truth is grim, for humans fear what they cannot understand, what they cannot control. What was once lost, can never be recoverd, for the innocence of many has diminished. Darkness swallows many, and rare are the times of salvation, of light. After the events at Liberty Island many witnesses the horror of the world, that something beyond their control and understanding.

The past conflict upon Ellis Island has brought various consequences. The Government marches onto the scene, issuing more control concerning Xavier's Institute for Gifted Youngsters. Emma Frost, a successful business woman and entrepreneur, is offered the position as Headmistress. Miss Frost has many surprises for the group of students, who no longer would be able to be an independent force and openly fight the remaining members of the brotherhood

The great wheels are ever turning, each event pushing forward and effecting each one in turn. A series of small events would be essential to make the Brotherhood to come back more powerful and terrible than ever. They will leave humanity in tears. Humanity will never be the same again, and the question is if Humanity is in need of a change at all? Chaos upon chaos, but the changes are inevitable, or is it just evolution? Will the X-MEN be able to stop the events that will cause
‘the butterfly effect’?...

Damascus Road might be worth checking out. We have a minimum of 400 words, which I suppose equals two solid paragraphs. Give it a look, it might be to your liking.

We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal.
That they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.
That among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Four years have elapsed since both X-Men and Brotherhood faced the blazing fury of the Phoenix on Alcatraz Island. Time enough for Jean Grey’s death to be mourned by those who cared for her, and for those tears to be wiped away in turn by the wondrous reappearance of Charles Xavier. Reinstated as headmaster and leader of the X-Men, the future once again looks hopeful – periods of darkness will always be interspersed with light, however faint. Proving that medical means could never offer a real solution to what some humans saw as a threat, reports that effects of the ‘cure’ were wearing off were confirmed to be true; mutants everywhere regaining total use of their powers with the fullness of time, whether they had volunteered to be stripped of their x-gene or otherwise. Maintaining a civil relationship with the government and tolerated by the public, it would appear that mutantkind and Xavier’s own dreams of acceptance might finally stand a fighting chance.

Diversity makes tolerance more than a virtue.
It makes it a requirement for survival.

Scattered and disconcerted after their metal-manipulating leader was deprived of his gifts and with no one else resolute or willing enough to guide them, the Brotherhood lay in tatters. Still licking the wounds of Magneto’s stinging betrayal even after regaining her mutation, Mystique’s staunch and unwavering belief in the liberty of her kind remained evident even while forced to live the life of those she detested; perpetually driven by the thought of slavery at the hands of humanity and ideals that had been imprinted into her mind by the very man who would abandon her. Believing it to be a cause worth fighting tooth and nail to uphold, the metamorph set out to regroup the Brotherhood under her own reign, rebuild the underground organisation from its roots and fill her ranks with the like-minded – those who are willing to do anything to ensure that homo superior inherit the earth.

Courage is poorly housed that dwells in numbers;
The lion never counts the herd that are about him
Nor weighs how many flocks he has to scatter.

Yet even the most tenuous balance can never truly be held firm for long, and not all humans are quite so accepting. Those with the utmost faith will prove to be mutantkind's greatest detractors.

so lets say your a celebrity. your living the life nothing can go wrong you know it. but sometimes fame is to much especially if your a teenager you cant make your own mistakes with out the world reading about it the next day. now normal life is looking better and better every day. life in la is looking shittier and shittier as each morning comes and your face is in the papers. what if there was a school that promised normalcy where you can go to school with other celebrity teens and normal teens. where only the celebrities know about the schools secret and the normal kids are there for the schools arts program.

---

so now you have four years to be normal get a part time job make friends that youll keep for the rest of your life although they dont know your really the guy they crushed on from the movie. or the girl they fell in love with. or for that matter who they wish they were. they have no idea what they wish to become is something your running away from and that you wish to have their life.

---

even though your running from hollywood you still have to do premieres, make movies, put out records and interviews. right? or else hollywood would suspect something if 50 teen idols picked up and left right? so even though you've escaped your still pulled back in from time to time and when you go you remember why your in the crappy town in Indiana in the first place. stardom isnt all its cracked up to be.

---

but how long can you stay hidden with out hollywood figuring out where your coming from or for that matter the normal students to figure out that your the guy they have the hots for. and run you out of the school? when you fall in love can you trust the girl to keep the secret? or will she blab to her best friend and the entire town know? would you take her to a premiere? give her a wig and protect her identity? so many questions that will be answered.

At Boarding school...
...no one can hear you SCREAM

Owen Academy’s atmosphere used to be full of excitement, love, and harmony. Nowadays, however, it is infected with unease, tension, and hatred. When the school first opened, everything was fine. The girls took to singing or dancing while the boys took to band or drawing. Acting was unisex; no one really cared who went into that. Things continued in this manor for a while until one year, several new students came and crossed the unwritten gender boundaries of the school. The popular kids were furious and dubbed these new students “outcasts” because they cast themselves out of society freely.

The popular kids ignored these new students and made sure they knew they weren’t welcomed. For a while, the outcasts took this exile and put up with it all for the love of their art. There were some outcasts, however, that didn’t like this exile. They rebelled by attempting to date popular kids, socializing with them, and being all around rebellious. The popular kids were infuriated by this and retaliated.

They planned what was to be the ultimate prank. They would kidnap an outcast, tie them up, and leave them attached to a tree in the school court-yard. That would get the point across to the outcasts to leave the popular kids alone… or would it?

One of the popular kids involved in this prank took it to a whole new level. He started beating on the outcast- as they were tied to the tree- and ended up severely injuring her. She had several broken ribs, one of which punctured her lung, several deep cuts, and internal bleeding, all of which led up to her death overnight. The school’s dean found the body, still tied to the tree, the next morning and immediately expelled the students who pulled the prank and pressed charges against them.

Ten years later, it is almost the spring semester of 2008. Rumors of a ghost haunting the halls of the academic building flew around the institution like wildfire and sparked the interest of several students. they formed a group and called themselves The Silencers. As a group, they planned a ghost hunt of all of the academic buildings determined to find this ghost and put it to rest.

But the night they went on the hunt, a dark chilly night over winter holidays, something went wrong. No one knows what happened that night, only that it happened in the Acting Building. The students went in, ready to hunt this ghost, but never left. the building, as well as every other inch of the campus, was searched from top to bottom. Not a single trace that the students were ever there was found.

Police were notified and the school was forced to close down for the spring semester. Now, it is summer and the school has been allowed to open it's doors again to students with the promise that rules and policies will be stricter and security will be much heavier. Students are no longer allowed to be out alone at night, all buildings are required to have security guards at all times, and all student organizations must be heavily monitored by staff. There are lists and books on the new restrictions for the school.

The students hate it. They rebel at every possible moment. From practical jokes on teachers to simply outright breaking th rules, it seems the entire student body is banding together against one force: the rules. When students with some of the top creative ability in the country join forces, who knows what will happen. But what was that whisper from around the corner? Was it the legendary ghost, Isabella, waiting patiently for her next victim? Only she knows. Think you can handle it?

Hello,

Check us out, it may just be what you're looking for. We are not overly complicated, and give you the freedom to create your own character and carve out their story.
The Tel'Ranaemyn Inn. Here's our general theme:

user posted image

Located in the northeast section of Rhydin in the city of New Haven, a city that has no regulated law enforcement, and no ruling government, the Tel'Ranaemyn Inn seeks to be a refuge to those in need, or those in need of a place to lie low.

Rhydin is the name of the country and the name of the continent. It is a unique place and exists in a Nexus. This means that all manner of creatures, from the year 2285 or 10,000 BC could potentially find their way here. Perhaps they were driving their car in modern-day Manhattan, made a wrong turn, and suddenly found themselves in a very different place? Or maybe a caveman ran inside a cave to hide from T-Rex and found himself in this strange new world. A sailors ship is tossed about in the seas and he finds himself here. The possibilities are endless.

Not all the inhabitants of Rhydin get along, no place is as peaceful as that. Different races and cultures make for a vast myriad of belief systems and political views. It's possible that some may have ideas to another, as people learn to find comparisons and compromises. Everyday life in Rhydin can be not so ordinary.

With a forest to the North and the ocean and docks bordering the East, New Haven is a steadily growing city that is ripe for almost anything.

Thanks for the consideration!
