Title: Bioshock?

Takaro - August 26, 2008 09:45 AM (GMT)
I've been playing this game recently, and I honestly can't believe that no one has made a RP/RPG for this amazing game. It's premise is great, probably need a bit of a change but it's still great.

So, I come here to ask...Has anyone seen one?

I saw one once quite a while back. I was kind of curious and excited until I saw it was actually panfandom Bioshock, so it had an underwater city like Rapture, but that was kind of where the similarity ended. I think all the characters that were there at the time were plucked from various anime and just didn't really seem to mesh with the setting. I was pretty disappointed.

Anime...? Bioshock? Those two things are like pudding and tomato soup. they don't mix!

Shame. Looks like i'll probably end up trying to start one.

If you are searching for that kind of Steampunky Asthetic in a post apocalyptic setting, I stumbled across just the site for you:

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."
~ Albert Einstein

The year is 2118. It is four years after the Great World War.

The Earth has come under the rule of the self-proclaimed Emperor, Emmanuel Roth. In his plot to rebuild the Earth from the ruins, he has colonised the planet and runs the world from his base in the Aerium, Brandenburg, Germany.

Roth’s theory is that the foundations of a strong society in the future come from the past. It is for this reason that Roth has returned the world to the years of the Victorians; his native Britain’s glory days. But with the good – technology, employment, architecture – comes the bad – murder, poverty, illness and death.

Life and death can be a snap decision, like the flip of a coin. Will you survive to see the Earth restored to its former glory?

Fairytale Nightmares

No underwater city yet, but the plot is player driven, so, that may be you're part of the equation.

Check it out, it may be worth your time: Here!
