(Yey my first time requesting!)
...is there a Stargate SG-1 RP out there? Or maybe something with a similar feel to it?
I'm curious if this kind of RP board exists. Would love to take a look at it and maybe join.

Genre: sci-fi, Stargate SG-1 (I'm willing to take a look at other sci-fi boards too)
Difficulty: I don't care, I can do it all. Just...please...no one liners.
Type(s) of Creature(s): erm, pretty much anything
Preferred Rating: As long as I can have at least a little violence, I'm fine. (mature rating would be great)
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: I don't care about the numbers as long as it's active
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: Stargate time! :D (I accept things from present day to futuristic)

Other Notes:

Please, no Stargate Atlantis, I dunno anything about that show since I've never watched it.

If you are going to try shove Star Wars RPs at me then at least make sure it has good amount of descriptions on things because my Star Wars knowledge is very limited and it's been a few years since I last watched one of the movies!

with awesome features and countless ways to develop your
writing. there are character battles where participants are
given prompts to base characters off of concepts as offbeat
as the kitchen table or adapt the star crossed lover romeo
montage for modern times. there are writing challenges
where all the community members post responses to a given
prompt or writing battles where two members go head to
head and much, much more. radio war is always looking for

TAKE TO THE SKY
tensions are high since the announcement of the sighting of a possibly inhabitable moon. add in the possibility of alien attack and the risk of a viral epidemic in the form of a plague, and you've got the most dangerous space station to be on.
bad luck, compadre

The year is 2087 and the Earth has degraded to the point of inhabitable. The air is nearly toxic and due to global warming, the worldwide temperature has risen to exponential amounts. and turned Earth into a death trap. Humans were dying at an alarming rate, the population had dropped nearly 75%, and in an effort to combat this veritable Armageddon, the United Nations instilled Project Indigo. In March of 2050, they launched the first space station, STATION ALPHA, for long term testing. A decade later, after it had been announced safe for long-term stay and habitation, STATION ALPHA opened to the public. A huge metropolis free of pollution with its own greenhouses for food and replenishable oxygen supply? People signed up in droves for the first crack at living in space, eager for a new adventure and happy to be finally leaving the barren rock Earth had become.

Twelve years after the first initial launch, twenty space stations have been sent into the abyss with more than ten thousand people on each one. The last of its class, STATION OMEGA, was launched in August 2071 and has followed its brothers in its slow and easy orbit of the earth. However, as stations move on into the galaxy, crawling at a snail's pace towards hopeful horizons, OMEGA remains behind as a last ditch effort to get all the humans off before our planet crumbles into oblivion.

FRANCIS THOREAU, known only as CAPTAIN to the citizens of OMEGA, has grown weary of space life. It shows in how he begins to treat his crew. And many are becoming angry. Unbeknownst to the captain, a rebellion has begun in the depths of the station. Only a few people at first, but now, this has grown into a problem. No one knows who's a part of this rebellion and who isn't. And if it's allowed to carry on, chaos will break through the careful barriers the captain has erected, and OMEGA will be plunged into anarchy.

Anarchy on a space station isn't the best idea.

To add confusion to an already confused time, a moon has been discovered seven light years that could be habitable. It's close enough to a star, and initial scans show promise. The appearance of this moon has given the people hope, has given them a light at the end of the tunnel. But is it coming soon enough? A lot can happen in the time it'd take to get there. Too long, for some. Doubt is spreading; is this just another ploy from CAPTAIN to keep his people at bay? Or is it real? Is it within reach?

But that's not all; a desolate space ship was found in orbit around the moon. It's not human, that's for sure. All life signs are gone, there's no residual heat, there's nothing to suggest whatever was on that ship is living now. Of course, we aren't dealing with humans anymore, so nothing is certain.

And to make matters worse, a sickness has sprung up from one woman. No one knew how far it would go, how quickly it would spread. But within months, about a third of the ship had this illness. And within months, a third of the ship began dying. This modern day PLAGUE has taken them all by surprise, and fear begins to spread.

Everyone thought SPACE STATIONS were man's greatest hope. Instead, they may be man's greatest downfall.

WHEN THE EARTH CRUMBLES AROUND YOU, TAKE TO THE SKY.
AND WHEN THE SKY BEGINS FALLING, START PRAYING.

It's a Doctor Who and Torchwood board, which the former is on the Sci-fi channel. If you need help with anything, you can just PM me. But it would be nice if you check it out ^_^

Each thought, each dream, and each story creates a separate universe. There are billions and billions of parallel universes created by our own actions. It’s no surprise where there is an alternate universe where two people’s original roles are switched.

The Doctor and the Master, last of the Time Lords. The Time Lords were once an ancient and powerful alien species that was wipe out during the last Time War. We all ready know that part right? The Doctor goes around, saving people while trying to control his friend the Master. We have all seen how evil the Master can be. Everything is set into motion, nothing can be undone. The Doctor is always good and the Master is always evil. End of story, right?

Oh, very wrong my dear friend.

In this plane of existence, it just took one thing to set everything upside down. Just two people changed the universe that we knew. The Doctor took off in his TARDIS after he being deny one and the council set his best friend the Master after him. Originally after that, the Master turned evil and the Doctor kept saving people. It didn’t happen like this. The Master abandon his long time friend, going to help other people that fell victim to the Doctor. And the Doctor, he turned as evil and dark as a black hole.

Now, the actions after this were still present, only the roles were reversed. The Doctor made the universe fall victim to his sinister deeds and the Master tried his best to stop him and save the universe with the friends and companions he made along the way. This happened for years.

Then the Time War started and the Doctor was asked to help the Time Lords. He did that, only in hopes of taking over Gallifrey. But he didn’t get his way. When the Daleks took control, he panic and ran and turned himself into a human at the end of the universe. He changed his DNA to where he was human and kept his Time Lord self inside a fob watch. He was human and took up the name Professor Yana. He grew old and older, helping humans try to reach a new galaxy. Utopia.

He was happy and carefree then, actually being normal. Then the Master arrived in his TARDIS with Martha Jones and Captain Jack Harkness. Then everything went to Hell when Martha Jones pointed out his pocket watch, somehow knowing what it was from when the Master turned himself into a human. When he was able to open the pocket watch, he change back into his old self, the Doctor. When his, or rather Professor Yana’s, alien assistant got scared and shot him, he was force to turn into his current form.

The Doctor once more, he found his own T.A.R.D.I.S. and made sure to damage the Master’s, at least to stop him from following him for awhile. He traveled to the twenty-first centenary and took up the human name of James Bishop in the British Empire and used his charm and powers to get into the Prime Minister election and of course won under the name James Bishop.

In the hopes to stop his once time friend and save Earth, the Master joined up with Torchwood with Jack Harkness. But the Time Lord couldn’t even save one of the members from falling into the Doctor’s grip.

Ianto Jones went to the dark Time Lord’s side with the promises of more power and has his way. Ianto was tired of everyone talking down to him and treating him like a tea boy and errand boy. He hoped to be with the Doctor to prove Torchwood wrong and gave him their secrets in exchange.

In replace of Ianto Jones, Captain John Hart-ex Time Agent joined up with Torchwood. With two ex Time Agents, one Time Lord, and the power of Torchwood behind them, they hope to stop the Doctor once and for all. But can they do it?

I don’t know. But what I do know is that this parallel universe is one of the few...

Shattered Realities.
