I am kind of confused on what people think the Dear _____ thread is for. Last I checked, it was a place for us to post what ticks us off. I browse through and read em. I think many do! I agree with things sometimes. If I don't agree, I ignore it. I thought that the Dear _____ thread was for opinion, but it seems people are starting to take it way to seriously.

I think it's kinda silly on how people are trying to force opinions on everyone else. We have the right to say what we want and think whatever way we wanna think. I may come off as rough and bitchy, but I don't truly care if you like my opinion nor do I wanna shove it down your throat. Why would you do that to me?

I feel strongly about things. Who doesn't? It's part of human nature. I also don't care about your opinion. Sure, I'll listen to it. I'll try to understand, but I'm not going to care too much about it. You are entitled to your opinion as a human unless you live in Soviet Russia where PIKACHU CHOOSES YOU! DDD:<

Yep, yep. I take into consideration the fact that people are angry when they write this stuff. It thus may not make the best of sense and I may not really understand why they feel that way.

If they're flaming or getting close to it, I may ask them to stop or try to make them realize that they're being rude. Or sometimes I'll ask for clarification and that sort of stuff. But a rant is a rant.

I'm agreeing with December on this. People say sillyest things when they get all fired up. Soooo what else would you expect from a rant forum? lol

xD It's kind of funny how I end up starting arguments on the "Dear _____" thread. I say something that's angry, which a rant is supposed to be, and people get upset enough to say unnecessary things to me about how immature it is to get fired up about something small.
We all get upset over little things. And they don't have to be things that hurt us. If someone says something that offends you on a rant thread, take a deep breath, smile, and get over it!
I personally LOVE speaking my mind, and I tend to be a bit offensive. But really, things are only offensive if you ALLOW yourself to be offended. And then that's YOUR problem, not mine! ^^

I find the ranting forum relaxing because it feels like a big fat atomic bomb of tension that just got vented and now we can all cozy up to RP. We can leave our frustrations in the hunky dory ranting forum and forget them.

I hadn't noticed that about the Dear "___" thread, possibly because I've been too stressed to rant. I shall make a point of moderating it more closely, now.

Which means that conversations in the Dear "___" aren't going to happen, because it's for ranting ^_^
