Description: Admin(s)Writer(s)and/or Grafics Maker(s)

Tinn - August 22, 2008 12:35 AM (GMT)
Name of Board: Drawing A Blank
Link to Board: http://z10.invisionfree.com/DrawingABlank

Requested Position:
-Admin
-Writer
-Grafics Maker
How many positions available:
Preferably 1 person who can do it all, if not I'll pick however many people I need for it.
Information:
Admin
Basically, you'll be on the staff. I would really love to have some sort admin that could answer questions or sort of take over when I'm not available. You will be Accepting/Rejecting Applications, helping to create sub-forums(Journals and Dorms/Homes for each character), and answering guests questions when I'm unable to. For this one, you'll have to convince me that I can actually trust you with my forum since I REALLY don't want to scammed...

Writer
This will basically be helping me write up things on the sidebar, helping to make creative advertisements, perhaps some sub-plots and News/Notifications. Once again, you'll have to convince me to trust you if you want admin/mod powers.

Grafics
This should be pretty obvious, but you'll be helping make banners, buttons, etc. And if you can make GOOD skins, that'd be FAN-fricken-TASTIC. However, I know that's very complicated. Basically, you'll help me make our board look nice and orignal.

Alright, that's it. So...post please. <3

I'm totally interested & I'd be able to fill all three. I literally just posted with my skills and such -- check it out here and get back to me :]

Oh your grafics are fabulous. Would you happen to know how to make skins or is that milking it a bit too much?

Also, could I see some sort of plot or any sort of written thing just so I can see about having you for all 3 jobs?

But as far as I'm concerned you're down for Grafics and Admin. :3 And probably Writer too. ;]

I can do basic stuff with skins -- incorporate custom graphics and change colors, but I've never attempted to make an entirely new one. Sorry :[

As for an example of a plot, the first thing that came to mind is the plot for a boarding school RPG I wrote for a friend. If it seems kind of rushed it's because it was :] I can find an example of an actual post at an RPG if you don't like this.

QUOTE
Crack open a Waverly pamphlet and you'll find something like the following --

"Wavely is an accredited boarding school with an emphasis on creative expression and Right-brained thinking. The school provides a small, safe and intimate community where students are able to explore and express both their intellectual and creative abilities through challenging academic classes, music, studio art, theater and photography. Outdoor education, community service and athletics are an important component of the educational experience.

Waverly sits atop 450 acres of beautiful land just outside of the town of TOWN. The school is 10 minutes from the ocean and 20 minutes from the mountains. The Waverly campus offers boarding facilities for both boys and girls. The residents are housed 2 to a room in bedrooms that contain study and storage facilities for each student. Dorm parents live in each wing of the dormitories and supervise the boarding students with the help of student prefects.

Other facilities include a modern dining hall, tennis courts, volleyball court, basketball courts and soccer field, theater and music rooms in addition to a studio art center, ceramics room and large dark room. More information and tours available from 7AM - 7PM through 1-866-WAVERLY.
"

But that's not the kind of crap you want to know, right?

Waverly High wasn't always Waverly High -- back in the day it went by the name of Waverly Academy for Girls. A few unfortunate mishaps and a lot of budget cutting later, Mrs. Adele Jameson (that would be the headmistress, for those of you who are new to WH) was forced to open her beloved academy to the boys. Waverly caters to grades six through twelve. Welcome to 2008 where boys and girls board together at Waverly. Should be interesting.
