Might give us a look. We started in Rent fandom, post canon, but in the past two years, we've developed into an RL game based in New York which happens to have the canons from that fandom running about. . . You don't need to know a thing about the musical or the movie, since the characters are just characters, nothing more. We're grown up, decent writers, and friendly as can be. Have a look. The banner in my sig's the link.

You're living in America at the end of the millennia. . . and you're not alone.
Alphabet City
We're in the year 1996 and the colorful residents of the East Village in Manhattan are facing the issues which challenge poor Bohemian artists in the mid-90s. Drug abuse, HIV, prostitution, starvation, death, life, and love. However, they find that they aren't alone, friends are all around, and there is always coffee to be drunk, issues to be discussed, and art to be created, good and otherwise. Come join our cast of canon and original characters, featuring a strong sense of community and creativity and find that you're not alone either.
Other notes:Based on the Broadway musical RENT, set post-canon, though slightly AU to keep Angel alive. We have evolved and changed over the past two years from a fandom RP to a RL RP with some fandom characters.  We are lucky to have a great group of OCs who are keeping the plot moving and changing quickly, and we always welcome new writers and OCs with open arms.
We also have a brand new board!  It's pretty and blue and still has that new board smell!!  Come see.  It's pwetty!!!

Hi!

We are an alternate history HP site that you may want to look at. We are a small but loyal and friendly group who are committed to the site. We are welcoming to new members and new ideas.

Everyone made mistakes, even he, Lord Voldemort, did. And, it had been a gross and, at times almost fatal mistake. The Seer's prophecy about the Potter boy had distracted Voldemort from the real threat to his rise to power. But, the truth was, there had been nothing special about the boy. Potter had never really been a real threat. The real threat was and had always been Albus Dumbledore. The task was simple. Go back and eliminate Dumbledore before he could thwart Voldemort’s quest for power.

The world had been as it was when Lord Voldemort had retired that evening, But, the Dark Lord had awoken the next day to a delightfully different world. He needed no reports to know that the mission had been successful. The Dumbledores had been eliminated, and the whole world had awoken to a whole new reality the next day.

Grindelwald rules ruthlessly in continental Europe. And, following the wizarding coup de tête, Voldemort had gained control of England and was ruling from the Tower of London. Muggles served the superior wizarding. Muggleborns and the tainted muggles who produced them were being exterminated. Ganglike packs of werewolves roamed the streets, serving as brutal order-keepers. Hogwarts’ curriculum had been redesigned for the creation of future Death Eaters and Death Eater recruitment offices were everywhere.

But, pockets of resistance groups still exist and muggleborns are finding refuge in hidden groups of outcasts throughout the country and in other countries. The Americas and Australia are still considered safe refuges for muggleborns who can find a way out. Some feign allegiance to the Dark Lord while trying to undermine him. Some just try to keep a low profile in order to keep themselves and their family safe.

What is Fires At Midnight?

Our world takes place during the year 1997, when the main trio would be in their sixth year in the Harry Potter books of J.K. Rowling. We welcome folks that are new to the HP world and RPGing in general. While the basic plot of this RP is based on the HP world, there is plenty of room for original characters and for everyone to find their own storyline, even if they aren't caught up in the Harry Potter mania.

We have no beach. XD It's not canon HP, but we still have a lot of fun. :D

forget the uplifting line,
FOR WE ARE YOUNG AND FREE
they're taking everything we believed in.

They taught us to dream.
To believe in an equal society.
Werewolf among us.
Vampires beside us.
Together in peace.

Werrant Pierce is the most influential Minister that Magical Education has ever had.
And he's only had the job two months.
Imagine a man so stuffed full of the old prejudices in a position powerful enough to do something about it.
Imagine being a werewolf, a vampire, or any other 'creature' in what you thought was a safe world.
Imagine that world turning against you - again.

well may we say
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
because nothing will save Tallygarunga.

So throw away your hopes for a better life.
To survive, you have to play the right cards to the Ministry.
You can't be friends with the devils they hunt.
Shut your mouth and play the game.
They're watching us entirely too closely.

But Tallygarunga will not be beaten.
It will not back down.
It will not be silenced.
Tallygarunga will fight.
Whatever the cost.

A small town with about 8,000 good hard working Southern folk in it. Football Nights are like a religious holiday here. The girls pretty themselves up for a wild night of partying and sex every Tuesday and Thursday. When Monday rolls around, the kids are caught skipping to hang out at Montana’s or City Limits. Sometimes, the braver ones dare to go to McDowell’s Hole.

Twenty years ago, a program was re-introduced into Little Jimmy's perfect world. Honky Tonk Angels. An association where they took young high school students who had found themselves in trouble with the law and the harsher ways of life out of NYC into the country. There the students were placed with foster families for the year as they worked with the kids to straighten out their lives. The program still thrives today with the children of the original lifers and angels. Unfortunately much like the Little Rock, Arkansas disaster some of the folks in Little Jimmy aren't so...

Welcoming. The older families in town aren’t so welcoming towards the newcomers as some nasty words have been flying back and forth. It seems the town’s secrets of racism and prejudice seem to be leaking out at every turn. A team of low-end FBI agents has come to Little Jimmy in hopes of keeping the peace. However, can years of hatred and prejudice slip away like the wind? Or will relationships be tested and lines crossed?

We thought we had won. How were we to know the defeat of Voldemort would only lead to making a path for the new dark lord?

It's been over twenty years since the fall of Voldemort and the Wizarding world has at long last learned to breathe easy again. A memorial was constructed in the middle of Diagon Alley in memory of those who lost their lives in the epic battle. Their hero, Harry Potter now works in the ministry in charge of the aurors. Neville Longbottom has become the headmaster of Hogwarts and the children of our heroes are now adults working to ensure the continued safety of wizarding kind. Finally there was peace.

But for how long?

Whispers of a terrible artifact still flutter about Knockturn Alley. It is an item that bears a mark on witches and wizards that completely cuts them off from their ability to use magic by destroying the genetic connection one has with magic itself...but could such an item exist? And if so, who would be so bold as to use it?

The item is real, as is the one who would wield such a thing. A new dark lord is rising from the shadows left behind by the last but from a place no one ever expected. Could a muggle be more capable than previously thought?

Even the Headmistress and Deputy Headmaster who have been constantly discussing the recent protective charms failures among themselves and colleagues, are finding themselves gearing up for the school year and start of term feast.  One thing is sure, it will be a year to remember.

HP, canon friendly (trio, not next gen), set in 2011.

No schools.

No Voldemort.

No evils made of magic.

Muggles are the only thing you should be worrying about, and by God, you should worry about muggles.

Are You Ready For This?

"Sir. The woman who returned, Duhig? She's not...normal."
"Normal?"
"Her magic, Sir. It's...gone."
- The Ministry

Squibs were always born. Now they're made. Perfectly healthy wizards are vanishing from the streets, only to return with no magic at all.

"Side effects? What do you mean side effects?" - Megan Broker

"My analysts tell me they are encountering some problems with the tracking chip. Apparently some are causing problems: headaches, migraines, etcetera. One collapsed last week from haemorrhaging...keep your ear to the ground. We may have to intervene." - Charles Decker, Muggle leader of the British National Party

St Mungo's Shock at Sudden Death
- The Daily Prophet

Now these squibs are dying...

"What I can tell you, is her magic levels are off the charts. I don't think even the Ministry doubt the connection, they just want to avoid a national panic by giving all these new squibs a death sentence." - Remus Lupin

...All because Muggles are becoming a problem.

"This pill will stop my hallucinations?"
"Yes. But remember this is not a one-way street, Mr. Chambers. You can show yourself out, can't you? We will contact you when we need you."
- Gideon Chambers; Wizard, meets with Muggles.

Someone is giving Muggles access to the magical world. When the fragile barrier comes apart, when war is waged, which side will you choose?

"Our world is fragile and we have a duty to protect it; a duty to the people who live in it. That's why sometimes we have to do things that seem cruel but we do it for a greater good: The Rabbit Hole, this Task Force, our PM, this is all leading to war against these...Wizards. We're not ready yet but we will be. I consider you an asset to our cause...We provide for one another, don't we? Can I count on you for succour when the time is upon us?" - Charles Decker, Muggle leader of the British National Party

Memento Mori

A Post-War Harry Potter RPG

"The past six months have proven nearly as startling to the wizarding world as the years leading to the return of Voldemort - believe me, of all people I should know."

Harry Potter spoke these words at a press conference as he assured the wizarding community in Great Britain, and the wizarding world at large, that the Ministry of Magic was doing everything within its power to quell the brewing storm. Less than a year ago, everything had seemed calm - uneasy, but calm. The International Dementor Task Force was keeping the tide of despair at bay, and although elitist groups plagued Europe, they were neither a unique nor a new occurrence. While blood ties had been growing weaker and weaker, many of the few remaining Pure-Bloods were becoming more and more defensive. Then disaster struck.

An apparently concerted Dementor attacks on London, Paris, Hogsmeade and other wizarding cities in western Europe rattled the wizarding world, and although no magical government released a statement stating so, many are known to have lost their souls in the attacks. It was then that the Order of the Phoenix was recalled in secret, though few of its remaining members were still fit to fight the good fight. With rumors of dark wizards abound, the forgotten Order may have to pass the torch to a new generation who can fight the good fight.

Hiya! AG could be a great choice for an HPRP. It's an AU post-DH set in the wizarding UK in the year 2018. The focus is on witches and wizards above graduation age, rather than students at Hogwarts, so I think it would be good combo of Harry Potter and the RL you're looking for. PG-13, Intermediate/Advanced, originals-based with misc. canon stuff available, very active with an extremely friendly and chatty community. My co-admin and I make it a point to focus on the members and their plottage. Here's the site ad; if you have any questions or comments, feel free to drop a line in the cbox!

"I'm afraid that I cannot share the particulars with you. I work in the Department of Mysteries; you understand. Suffice it to say that we seek to understand the differences between magic and Muggle; moreover, why they are different."

"An Unspeakable? Humor me, are you really trying breed a new race of Super Blast-Ended Skrewts to use in a war against the French wizarding community?"

"The truth of our work is a great deal less amusing."

"I refuse to believe your work is boring. I'm sure you're working on something utterly fascinating, like trying to unlock the mysteries of the human soul."

"...Do you find the human soul fascinating?"

"Well, yes, I suppose I do. It is the very essence of who we are. It transcends death itself. That's what makes the Dementors so utterly terrifying. They weren't just destroying your body, they were destroying your very being. You can exist without a body, ghosts are proof of that...but your soul is everything."

WHEN HOGWARTS ISN'T ENOUGH...

• "I really like the site so far, particularly, the fact that you guys emphasize roleplays over anything else." •

• "I love to role play Harry Potter and this site is just... perfect! I've finally found an active site! Let me tell you I love it already!"  •

• "It takes collaboration to a whole new level." •

• "The admins aren't obnoxious, and they don't push around the members or make them feel like sludge. They constantly make an effort to improve the forum and it seems like every time I log on, I find something new to marvel over." •

• "I love that there isn't one set plot and that not everyone has to conform to fit one plot. You basically have free reign and that makes having a character here that much better. You're not limited to certain qualities. It was easy registering and everyone here is AMAZING. Friendly and inclusive. I feel welcome." •

• "I've never been to a higher level Harry Potter board that is so active! I love it!" •

At Boarding school...
...no one can hear you SCREAM

Owen Academy’s atmosphere used to be full of excitement, love, and harmony. Nowadays, however, it is infected with unease, tension, and hatred. When the school first opened, everything was fine. The girls took to singing or dancing while the boys took to band or drawing. Acting was unisex; no one really cared who went into that. Things continued in this manor for a while until one year, several new students came and crossed the unwritten gender boundaries of the school. The popular kids were furious and dubbed these new students “outcasts” because they cast themselves out of society freely.

The popular kids ignored these new students and made sure they knew they weren’t welcomed. For a while, the outcasts took this exile and put up with it all for the love of their art. There were some outcasts, however, that didn’t like this exile. They rebelled by attempting to date popular kids, socializing with them, and being all around rebellious. The popular kids were infuriated by this and retaliated.

They planned what was to be the ultimate prank. They would kidnap an outcast, tie them up, and leave them attached to a tree in the school court-yard. That would get the point across to the outcasts to leave the popular kids alone… or would it?

One of the popular kids involved in this prank took it to a whole new level. He started beating on the outcast- as they were tied to the tree- and ended up severely injuring her. She had several broken ribs, one of which punctured her lung, several deep cuts, and internal bleeding, all of which led up to her death overnight. The school’s dean found the body, still tied to the tree, the next morning and immediately expelled the students who pulled the prank and pressed charges against them.

Ten years later, it is almost the spring semester of 2008. Rumors of a ghost haunting the halls of the academic building flew around the institution like wildfire and sparked the interest of several students. they formed a group and called themselves The Silencers. As a group, they planned a ghost hunt of all of the academic buildings determined to find this ghost and put it to rest.

But the night they went on the hunt, a dark chilly night over winter holidays, something went wrong. No one knows what happened that night, only that it happened in the Acting Building. The students went in, ready to hunt this ghost, but never left. the building, as well as every other inch of the campus, was searched from top to bottom. Not a single trace that the students were ever there was found.

Police were notified and the school was forced to close down for the spring semester. Now, it is summer and the school has been allowed to open it's doors again to students with the promise that rules and policies will be stricter and security will be much heavier. Students are no longer allowed to be out alone at night, all buildings are required to have security guards at all times, and all student organizations must be heavily monitored by staff. There are lists and books on the new restrictions for the school.

The students hate it. They rebel at every possible moment. From practical jokes on teachers to simply outright breaking th rules, it seems the entire student body is banding together against one force: the rules. When students with some of the top creative ability in the country join forces, who knows what will happen. But what was that whisper from around the corner? Was it the legendary ghost, Isabella, waiting patiently for her next victim? Only she knows. Think you can handle it?

‘ and the candle burned out

professor albus dumbledore was the life and spirit of hogwarts.
with his death came the close of an era, and nothing was ever quite the same.
the halls of hogwarts witchcraft and wizardry grew colder;
it’s people somber.
and the final stretch of that final battle began, going down in history for time indefinite;
but while harry potter took one path, his fellow schoolmates took another.

everyone knows the tale of harry potter and the deathly hallows,
but what of the story that has gone untold?
that of the students forced back into a school run by the demonic carrows?
the story of those that didn’t give up on a single boy with a scar upon his forehead?

not all the candles went out with the passing of the greatest wizard ever known;
a good many more were lit, showing off the gleam of a single coin meant to symbolize him forever.
and within the halls of hogwarts that fateful year,
the students stood as one, coming together to say:
enough.

so while harry, hermione, and ron traversed the countryside in search of their final hope
their peers stayed put on the home front and staged a battle unlike any other.
it’s a tale worth hearing if you’ve the heart to listen,
and it’s a story worth reliving if you’ve the mind to try it.

MAKE ME LOSE CONTROL
OH BABY MAKE ME LOSE CONTROL

You think your generation was fucked? Have you ever heard of mine? No, that was a stupid question. Of course you don’t know about us. How could you? We’re the generation that was doomed before we ever began to live properly. Don’t believe me? I’ll just have to tell you the whole story, then.

I was fourteen years old when it all started. Items about the existence of wizards suddenly started appearing in the Muggle news. At first it didn’t seem like anything much; we used to get things like shooting stars and exploding toilets every time the Ministry couldn’t cover something up. Muggles just got used to the fact that not everything in the world could be explained. Besides, most of them assumed that some drunk, attention-seeking hippie was starting all the tales.

This time was different, though.

The reported sightings of magic increased in frequency and, more worryingly, in accuracy. You would think that all the giants and centaurs had reached a tacit consensus to come out into the open, but that was just the thing – they were just as isolated as they had been before. Adults were panicking like crazy, but the smarter ones were also beginning to wonder how and why this was all happening. If all the magical barriers preventing Muggles from discovering us were still in place, then why had Muggles suddenly become aware of our existence? There was only one explanation: we had a traitor in our midst.

But who would do such a thing? Who would betray all witches and wizards, possibly dooming us forever? There was no time to contemplate the truth of the matter; we had to act. The Muggle government was issuing edict after edict legalizing the brutal murder of any person proved to have magical powers. Muggles were angry after centuries of deception and were on the rampage. Wizards and witches were being murdered left and right. The bloodshed was brutal and terrible. Everyone lost friends and family members and it was obvious that no one was safe. Every day was a living nightmare. It wouldn’t be correct to say that we decided to go into hiding after a while, for we had done that centuries ago, but we realized that more desperate measures were needed.

A man named Tycho Rossi, who was one of the Minister’s senior advisors at that time, came to our aid. The death toll was rising to unbearable levels when Rossi announced his plan to move all of us underground. Desperate for salvation, we didn’t see the drawbacks to his solution at the time. That blissful state of ignorance didn’t last for long. For two horrible, chaotic, crowded days, all the magical folk of Britain were stuck inside the Ministry – which, thankfully, was already underground – and St. Mungo’s, which hadn’t yet been discovered but the rampaging Muggles. Some Ministry officials were working around the clock to excavate tunnels and caves suitable for habitation. The more patient Ministry workers endured the public’s complaints and tried to reassure everyone. After two long, grueling days, people began to filter out of the two safe havens and into the new city.

But our problems were just beginning.

There were, of course, the more menial things to deal with, like food. Although we had magic on our side, we couldn’t conjure food, nor could we somehow find a substitute sun to grow crops underground. It would have to be stolen above or imported from France. For a few months, there was a famine and even more people died of disease and starvation. Living quarters were another problem. All the purebloods, who found it below them to get close to the rest of us, built a gigantic palace-like structure to house all of them. Each family had a wing that was much smaller than any of their above ground manors, since they had lost financially during the move underground. Everyone who wasn’t supremely snobbish was cramped in the Quarters, a veritable dump with shack-like apartment piled on top of and around each other. The only magical location that remained the same was the Ministry. I guess it’s fitting that the main source of trouble came from there.

See, about a year after we moved underground, someone at the Ministry realized that Tycho Rossi, our savior, was behind the entire catastrophe. I’m not sure exactly who discovered the truth, but there was understandably outrage in the community. The Ministry was stormed and everyone ganged up against Rossi and his supporters. They were all killed, thankfully. Unfortunately, still more people died during that particular conflict.

Things calmed down after six months or so. People began to trust the Ministry again, since they managed to convince society that most of them had been completely unaware of Rossi’s treachery. And it made sense; who would really want to force our current state upon us? Ministry officials had to deal with the close quarters and the lack of sun as well.

Now, it has been three years since we moved underground, and the youth is getting restless. Even though doing so is against Ministry regulations, a group of people has started taking nighttime jaunts above ground “to feel free.” They’re almost like a gang, except that many of them go above ground separately. Most of them just do it for fun and to prove a point, but the Ministry is almost fanatical about catching them. They say that the law against leaving our new city is for our own safety, and they’re probably right. But everyone is used to an adrenaline-rich existence; living quietly underground doesn’t seem to be enough.

There’s a group of people who are breaking the law for a reason. They’re led by a man named Anton Selwyn, who, typically, wants to rule the world. Anton is tired of Malfoys and Lestranges, who have landed purebloods in nothing but bad situations whenever they lead the conservative group. Instead, Anton is working to infiltrate the Muggle government and wipe out all the Muggles so we can return to our former lives. He’s being very subtle about it, unlike most others who’ve wanted to take over the world at some point in history. I’m not even sure if anyone will try to save the Muggles this time. They tried to exterminate us; is there anyone noble enough to save them selflessly, even if it means condemning wizards to a pathetic existence for the foreseeable future?

You may be wondering how I know all the intricacies of society that most other people can’t see. Well, the answer is simple. I’m dead. My name was Isaac Longbottom, and I died during the anti-wizard genocide.

CAN YOU MAKE ME LOSE CONTROL?

CANONS PLOT SUBPLOTS

Zippy - August 15, 2008 06:48 PM (GMT)
Hi rrubyred,

I think I've got an HP RP for you. :)

Genre: The Black Pullet is an HP AU board in the sense that we do not discuss any of the stories or characters that are dealt with in the books. We have our own issues in Magical Ireland and our own troubles with dark wizards; we have simply borrowed the magic and creatures from Harry Potter. We have a general plot guiding our story as well as admin controlled devices (Newspapers, Gossip, Fate, Radio, Townspeople) that steer things in many new directions. There is freedom to explore your own storylines as well as to react to what is happening around you.

Difficulty: We are listed as advanced, but without the attitude. We want to see good story writers but we don't get upset about typos or patchy grammar. We have no minimum word requirement but we like to see at least two paragraphs. Most of our posts are in the 3-5 paragraph range.

Type(s) of Creature(s): Right now our characters are all human and three werewolves (who interact as humans), with the odd goblin, house elf or troll thrown in. We are open to any creature in the HP world.

Preferred Rating: We are ‘R’ rated, but mature threads are not on the main board and only the writers themselves can ever read them. Swearing is allowed, with only the F word changed to "feck" (we are in Ireland ;) ).

Preferred Number of Members/Activity: We're not huge but we are active. Since March we've been averaging about 15 posts per day. There is always someone around with whom to post.

Preferred Time where RPG is set in: The Black Pullet is set in 1969 and the town is very backward. There's no television -- people get their news by radio or the newspapers. They eschew cars and broom travel in favor of horses, trains and boats. Clothing styles date to around the Edwardian period, though young folks have been wearing more modern styles despite the bad looks the receive. Many who live here are fisherman or farmers. They like their ways and are suspect of those who want to rock the boat.

Note: Some forums are not visible until you are accepted

~ . * . ~ . * . ~ . * . ~ . * . ~ . * . ~

A personal note: I joined this RP in March and I swear it has taken over my life. I think one of the things I find so appealing about it is the plot and how easy it has been for me to make my characters fit. I honestly do not know what is going to happen from one day to the next. While your characters would never be killed or put in prison without your approval, lots of things can happen that you didn't expect and you find yourself having to use your imagination and come up with new ideas. The admins have really done quite an excellent job with this RP.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask or PM. You can click on my signature to take you to The Black Pullet.

we just opened a few minutes ago and hope you will take a look

the Dark Times Upon Us

The time of peace is over and a new war has begun. Those that sought refuge at Hogwarts were only greeted with the remains of what used to be the castle. Five years ago, after the Death Eaters had finally shown the Wizarding world that they have regained their power destroyed it.

A new dark lord has risen, taking control of the Ministry, and the Wizard World. Those whose ancestors were part of the Order and those who wish to long to have the peace restored have regrouped, calling themselves the Resistance and vowing to bring the peace that has been destroyed back into existence. It won't be easy, the Death Eaters are stronger than ever.

The Aurors, once thought as peace keepers, have started to hunt out Muggles and those they deem unworthy of using magic. Now they have focused on pockets of the Resistance, hoping to wipe them out before they have a chance to make a stand.

Battles and duels threaten to take place on a daily basis and spies are starting to infiltrate both sides. Although most members of the Resistance have their alignment unknown only a few are starting to make theirs known.

Act. Sing. Play. Dance. Four words- all verbs, Words in motion, dreams in action. To some people, they're just words. But to others, these words represent lifestyles. Countless hours spent in lonely rooms. Tons of recitals, waiting for applause and a 'job well done'. Failed tests, missed dates, unwatched movies. Devotion.

They came here to chase their dreams. There will be bumps in the road, along with injuries, drama, and stress. But these young people are willing to take that risk.

1998...

Years have passed since the day that the beloved Harry Potter graduated from the hallowed halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed from that day the dark lord was vanquished, all has been well. The ministry is running smoothly again, there is peace in the streets, and no fear in the Wizarding community whatsoever thanks to the great Harry Potter. The retired hero has moved to North America to live out a peaceful life.

2008...

Hogsmeade has grown so much that it has gained the status of a city and is now rivaled against places like London and Diagon Alley. It is a popular place for the young and old with bustling activity from the Village Square to the Park.

But this era of light must come to an end; there must always be evil to balance out the good. Said evil is still out there. After the final battle a few cowardice yet smart Death Eaters managed to escape the scene and make it alive. In one final meeting it was decided that it would be best to lie low until the time presented itself once again to make the world their own. Cast out all over the world it was assumed even by them that they hay day was officially over and that they would have to live the rest of their lives in solitude.

Thats what they assumed. Until one decided he would live under the Ministry no longer. That the hay day of the Death Eaters needed a desperate return. Scouring the Earth for his allies he is determined to finish what Voldermort started. To conquer both the wizarding and muggle world. Who is he? No one knows yet. But we will all soon find out.

Now

Another war is coming. Pick your sides quickly. The world we know is changing.

THE YEAR IS 2057

Harry Potter had a dream, and in that dream he saw purebloods, halfbloods, and muggleborn children getting along. After he defeated Lord Voldemort, he believed that that dream would soon become a reality. Peace came over the wizarding world, and everyone believed that things were finally beginning to come together. Harry had his children, felt pleased with what he had done, and stepped down to let those of the next generation continue what he had strive to achieve. Even Kingsley Shacklebolt, the Minister of Magic, stepped down and handed the reigns over to the next Minister. This Minister happened to be a Pureblood, but he was perfect for the job, or at least we thought he was.

Hidden agenda, that's what they called it. His name was Septimus Flint, and while he looked like the best candidate for the job on the outside on the inside Flint still had some of that Pureblood prejudice in him, though he honestly tried to suppress it and rule justly. Then there was, of course, the fact that Septimus Flint was too weak of a Minister. Enter Jove Montague, the leader of the Mors Mortis and best friend to Septimus Flint. For a long time the Mors Mortis was simply a club for Purebloods who believed that they were still, to put it bluntly, the shit. With Flint's love for his best friend, and Montague's need for vengence, Flint was thrown into a very deadly situation. He had the choice - the wizarding world, or his best friend. Unfortunately, he chose the latter which resulted in the little Pureblood fanclub to become a full-blown deadly force - much deadlier than the Death Eaters ever were!

Soon the halfblood and muggleborn people were being caught in raids, and rounded up like sheep. Septimus Flint could only look on in shock and disgust as his best friend went on this bloody rampage, but he could only do so much for the poor people. It was his decision to keep the now fearful people in the wizarding world instead of throwing them out to fend for themselves, its was his decision to keep Jove from killing them all off by having what he considered "a fair trail". Despite all of this, he was silently pleased that the Purebloods were once again on top, though he didn't enjoy the bloodshed. Many lost their lives in the first few raids, and it caused an uproar. Some time after those raids Septimus lost his wife, Drusilla. Albus Potter was brought to have a trail on suspicion of these charges, and was soon put to death - put to death by a bunch of Purebloods.

Since then, things have quieted down a bit. Those of "impure blood" are too afraid to do anything that may cause a riot, especially with the Mors Mortis as deadly as they are. However, one man has finally had enough. His name is Gideon Sloper, the son of Lily Potter who lost her life after a raid gone wrong. He is sick of this injustice, and since Septimus Flint refuses to do anything about it, he and a group of rebels have decided to take it upon themselves to bring this world back to the way that it used to be, back to the way that Harry Potter dreamed it would be. So the question is, are you born to resist?

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."
~ Albert Einstein

The year is 2118. It is four years after the Great World War.

The Earth has come under the rule of the self-proclaimed Emperor, Emmanuel Roth. In his plot to rebuild the Earth from the ruins, he has colonised the planet and runs the world from his base in the Aerium, Brandenburg, Germany.

Roth’s theory is that the foundations of a strong society in the future come from the past. It is for this reason that Roth has returned the world to the years of the Victorians; his native Britain’s glory days. But with the good – technology, employment, architecture – comes the bad – murder, poverty, illness and death.

Life and death can be a snap decision, like the flip of a coin. Will you survive to see the Earth restored to its former glory?

SCANDALOUS; VICIOUS GOSSIP

` the falkner institute for the gifted

Almost one century ago, Ralph Falkner, a middle aged man cam across a small group of people who were able to do things. Things that made them different from everybody else. He tracked these people and watched them, learnt about their special abilities, eventually approaching them. With the help of these people who'd been using their abilities for years, they were approached by others. People who were the same and wanted to learn about their abilities, and why they had them.

In the years following this, the original group of people set up a small school, if you like, for teens and young adults, teaching them of their abilities and whatnot, all away from the government. They taught them of the dangers of being exposed, and how to control their abilities fully. The interest became bigger, and even some people who'd heard about this new school wanted to enroll, but they were knocked back for they were just ordinary people. Then, Falkner and his friends became more careful about who they let in, with students eventually coming from worldwide they branched out, put their savings together, and worked for months to get the money they needed and bought an old building.

Because of this group of people, the school is what it is today, a large boarding school housing teenagers aged fourteen to eighteen. But a lot has chabged since the school first opened. Those dreaded social circles have formed, the once prestigious school spiralling downhill as the modern day infects the school. Students focusing on their social life more than their studies. Being more concerned on getting boyfriends and girlfriends, getting drunk, and the odd one taking drugs.

Do you have what it takes to attend The Falkner Institute?

fame hides her head in the clouds. but being normal starts here

"" RULES | CANON LIST | FACE CLAIM | ADVERTISE | AFFILIATE ""

so lets say your a celebrity. your living the life nothing can go wrong you know it. but sometimes fame is to much especially if your a teenager you cant make your own mistakes with out the world reading about it the next day. now normal life is looking better and better every day. life in la is looking shittier and shittier as each morning comes and your face is in the papers. what if there was a school that promised normalcy where you can go to school with other celebrity teens and normal teens. where only the celebrities know about the schools secret and the normal kids are there for the schools arts program.

---

so now you have four years to be normal get a part time job make friends that youll keep for the rest of your life although they dont know your really the guy they crushed on from the movie. or the girl they fell in love with. or for that matter who they wish they were. they have no idea what they wish to become is something your running away from and that you wish to have their life.

---

even though your running from hollywood you still have to do premieres, make movies, put out records and interviews. right? or else hollywood would suspect something if 50 teen idols picked up and left right? so even though you've escaped your still pulled back in from time to time and when you go you remember why your in the crappy town in Indiana in the first place. stardom isnt all its cracked up to be.

---

but how long can you stay hidden with out hollywood figuring out where your coming from or for that matter the normal students to figure out that your the guy they have the hots for. and run you out of the school? when you fall in love can you trust the girl to keep the secret? or will she blab to her best friend and the entire town know? would you take her to a premiere? give her a wig and protect her identity? so many questions that will be answered.
