Title: Old Habbits Die Hard

Insomnium - July 24, 2006 03:14 PM (GMT)
Hmmm... I'm just curious how many of you have "weird" haibbits. :D

I like to eat peanut butter... straight out of the jar. I tend to go through one large jar a week and that's only because I live outside of town and my mom only goes to the store once a week.

So what about y'all?

Hehe, I used to love eating chocolate spread straight from the jar, but it leaves a horrible taste in your mouth afterwards.

Strange, I can't think of any... although I do find it hard to sit still. My hands always have to be tapping or doing something, and if I'm sat at the computer every few minutes I'll run downstairs for something just so I'm not sat doing nothing at all. In my sleep I usually twirl (and in the past, knot <_<) a strand of hair around my finger, too. Oh, and I listen to music on my MP3 Player while I'm going to sleep too... and trust that it'll turn itself off when the batteries run out.

Nice topic, Sarah. ^_^

Gracias. :)

And chocolate spread is good... for a while. LOL At my house, we do the same thing with icing but have to chug the milk. :D

I thought of another one when I was eating lunch. When I'm trying to figure out what to eat, I lean against the bar and stare at the wall. Or I start walking around the kitchen, opening everything, not looking at it, and shutting it again. Heehee, I realized this when my mom starting giving me suggestions while I was leaning against the bar.

In addition to having actual tics that surface occasionally, I tend to burst out in spontaneous expressions from whatever world I've been writing about the most recently. I also occasionally simply spout gibberish which I then take bits of an apply meaning to create a language.

Interesting topic ^_^.

What do I do? Hmm. I really like gum and always finding myself having to eat or drink something. Not to the point that I'd get over-wieght or anything. A glass of water is fine but I just always like drinking or eating somehthing and it drives me crazy when I can't. I don't know why. It's not like a pig out on junk food everday (But, I admitt that I do sometimes *whistles*) I've been doing that as long as I can remember.

That's all I can think of right now...

Hmmm... When I was little, I used to eat margarine straight from the tub. And passed out. I swear it had some sort of sedative in it. Let's see.. I'mn ot sure I can think of anything else for now, not as far as food goes anyways. I mean I have habits, just not anything that really..centers around food or sleep.

..I have an urge to want to try to rodent food/treats, but not try new people food. ..Is that habit or just weirdness?

Haha where to begin?

I make bird noises while my mum's on the phone to my sisters.
I randomly call people to say 'happy birthday' and then hang up on them when they try to talk.
I'm really messy.
I have half-hour long showers, and use up all the hot water.
I make loads of other noises randomly, when I'm bored.
I scream out rude words when in the middle of town.
I too eat peanut butter straight from the jar, before anyone else gets a chance to have any.
I stalk people in Kmart/other shopping centres.
I play my music too loud.
I roll things down the stairs, just to see how far I can get them down.
I do randomly stupid things to freak my mother out (like jumping off the roof onto the trampoline, for instance).

That's all I can think of for now. And yes, they are all habits. I do them compulsively, and constantly. I'm such an annoying bugger

You stalk people in shopping place too? That's sooo much fun! Some of them freak out.

I do the same thing as well as a few other things in shopping centers. If I have a friend with me, we play soccer, football, or some sort of ball in the isles. And we play with all the kid toys that make noise while eating or drinking something.

Wal*Mart can be fun. :D

lol, once I went into a toystore, and set off all the Crazy Frog dolls (surely you all know the crazy frog, and how he must DIE!!), and got myself thrown out. It was funny.

Good times

mysticsea - July 27, 2006 04:56 PM (GMT)
OH man, I love Crazy Frog. I used to do that with the singing hamsters in Spencer's. My mom would shake her head and walk away saying, "She doesn't know me" ..But it was so hilarious! Why else would they put them all there, practically right in a row?

t7lildrummerboy - July 27, 2006 05:13 PM (GMT)
I bite my nails...

They get to the point of bleeding because I bite them so far down.
I sometimes bite my toenails too!

I also eat really really fast and I scrape my teeth on my fork.

Insomnium - July 27, 2006 08:41 PM (GMT)
LOL I've never gotten kicked out of a place for setting off all the toys at once. I just get odd stares. I can't stand crazy frog but my neighbor loves it...

My nails are always too short to bight! >< I'd probably nibble off my fingers.

I eat pretty fast too but that's because I have a short lunch hour at school. My mom thinks I'm going to choke one of these days.

Centa'az Alexander - July 28, 2006 02:54 AM (GMT)
Well, I like eating Milo straight from the tin when I'm hungry and sing whenever I walk back to my dad's office.

You hate Crazy Frog too? ;lol; I can't stand him either, especially after my 5 year old sister started to memorize his song as well.

ginny_harry1 - July 28, 2006 02:59 AM (GMT)
Ok, what is Crazy Frog? It is really sad that I don't know what it is, as I live with a four and three year old most of the time.

And I have turned on all of the toys once. My mom yelled at me for it.

Oh, and I thought of another one. When ever I am sitting with a pen/pencil in my hand and a piece of paper that I don't have to turn in for a grade at school. I draw a box and I keep drawing it over and over again. I hardly even realize that I am doing it when I do it... I'm wierd.
