Hnn..it's been a while since I've role played but I think my muse has run dry. I'm debating on whether or not I should retire with eleven years or so under my belt. Nothing seems to catch my interest these days.. Ho hum. I guess it happens to old seasoned role players?
I'm working on my own site but so far..no such luck with finding staff. I don't know..it seems tedious to find people, or interest them for that matter. Ehh..this is more of a sad..sort of moping-rant rather than an angry one. Heh.
So my question to you, dear members is..should I give up and retire? Or should I stick around for a while longer, try to find staff? I'm not getting any younger, after all. Hahahaa. Help out an old timer like me, and offer your advice?
Maybe all you need is a break?
When I start to lose interest it's usually for other reasons, but I do find a nice month or two break from role playing can help. If you start to really miss it, then you know you're not ready to give it up. If you don't miss it at alla nd forget about it.. well then you would've answered your question on your own.
I always miss it so much I have to come back. It's my little addiction <3
Hnn..perhaps it is time for another long hiatus. That sounds nice, actually. Thanks..
Ha! I agree with what the other people have said. Maybe you just need a break off of RPing. Just sit back and enjoy life without roleplaying. I've done it before - very recently, in fact, where I took about two weeks off of serious roleplaying just to get other things I needed done. And I'm back and feel... oddly energized with all of it now. Weeks or months... just come back whenever you want, if you want. If you don't miss it or don't feel a want to come back, then don't. It's as simple as that.
