Okay so I just set up a forum for a place I role play in when I mess with second life. I created forums before but it was years ago so I might as well be a newb. Anyway I have it all set up and such but I have no idea how to make it look better and all that jazz. So, if people could point me towards tutorials, explain how I could make it look better, give me tips, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated and feel free to PM me thanks

Which sim?
And you said Invision boards, but that might not mean Invisionfree, so are you using a host, and if so, which one?
The SIM's name is the Republic Of Hayao. Don't tell anyone I'm trying to suprise the owner. Also I have no clue about any of this technical mumbo jumbo and directing me to a bunch of other places really wasn't what I wanted.
Basically I am looking to make the board look prentable. Adding side bars, getting it skinned, making a banner, etc. So basically its just your basic average forum but I want to make it actually look decent and presentable.I pretty much have the forum all outlined and set up so the next two steps are getting people from the SIM to join and making it look pretty.
Its not a place to role play its a community to help people connect, stay informed, discuss things, etc regarding that SIM in Second Life.
I have all my categories done, all my forums, and all my sub forums set up and ready to go. Other than that its about all I have come up with. I have a banner idea and a color scheme which is RED, BLACK, and YELLOW but I don't know hwo to change the colors of the skins or even how to set them up.
