I've recently been working on an IPB forum, and I've been trying to adjust some things in the profile, but I don't know where in the template html I need to be looking, or what specifically I need to adjust. What I'm trying to do is get rid of the "About Me", "Comments" and "Friends" tabs in the My Content section. Also, I'd like to make the first column with the Personal Photo thinner, as well as the column with the Recent Visitors and Comments and Friends.

I just recently finished editing the User Profile part of my IPB forum. ^.^ It is quite simple because each area/tab is labeled from when it starts and when it ends.

I can easily get you some screenshots if the following doesn't make sense for you.

I'll guide you through the links to get to the template bit you need to edit.

1.Look&Feel
2.Click the dropdown box for the skin you want to edit.
3.Click "edit Template HTML"
4.scroll down to "Profile View" and click it.
5.click "personal_portal_main" and you are at the template bit you need to edit, this one bit will control the look and organization of the user profiles. Best thing to do i play with it.
