Title: Umm. How About Giving The Rest Of Us A Chance?
Description: A rant. Yeah, me again.

I'm not sure if this is just me being biased or anything, but I'll let you guys put your opinion on it. New member on a Twilight rp posts up a character ad, with all positions (friends, enemies, loves, ect.) open. You know, those, 'I need so and so for my charrie without the lyrical plot page?' Ok, you get it. Hehehe.

Well, anyway, this new member posted one of these. His Pb was HOT, too...about four people, including me, posted in that ad the day he joined. About four days later, he still hadn't replied to any of us. Then on the fifth or sixth day, he had already gotten himself a soul mate, as indicated in his lyrical plot page.

Ok, so I'm pretty sure this is just me, being jealous (the girl was Miley Cyrus, maybe that had something to do with it...) but what do you people think? There's also been a few cases where the player brings a few friends to the site and they smother said player's character in spots that cannot be filled twice.

I dunno. Ever felt a bit left out?

Well, I've never wanted to be anyone's soul mate, so I can't relate to that.

But I do understand about places that can't be filled twice. I have a theory about it too.

Firstly, I think you get people who do it because they believe in true love 4 eva, so OBVIOUSLY nobody can have no more than one true love.

Secondly, I think you get the people who are more comfortable plotting their characters' entire lives, so they get their friends to join as supporting cast and then they fix it up between themselves and their friends so that their characters monopolize the main plots.

....or I could be paranoid. whichever.

I've gotten a friend to join a site with me before and have them fill the romantic spots just so I don't get mobbed by everyone else. Less hassle that way. Maybe the guy just wants to fight vampires?

Well, alot of people do it because theyre scarred to find out what could happen if someone else that they didnt know filled in that spot. That,or theyre used to RPin with the person they got to fill it out.
