I often get inspired to easily, which is why I have over 10 RPG forums, most of which have died etc. Well, Now I have a new idea, which I think may be a good one, all I wonder is, would anyone join? I don't want to make more and more forums, and then no one join them.

The forum in my mind is this;
Due to recent findings, paleontologists were able to find a living source of DNA from a perfectly preserved dinosaur in the sea. When fishing it out, they discovered it was a Dracorex, (yes that IS a real dinosaur) and immediatly set to work on trying to make a copy of some sort, of this creature. Through trial and error they were able to, and they had the DNA of this dinosaur, able to be used, but they did not have any body for it. Using a skeleton they had found earlier of the Dracorex, replacing the plaster parts with robotic prothestic parts they were able to create a robotic dinosaur. For muscles, anf organs, wiring and mechancal mechanisims were powered by batteries located in the head, along with a mircochip which mimicked a brain of a chimpanzee.

Now, they began to alter the DNA of the Dracorex, after the success of the original. For dinosaur's whose real bones could not be found, they were replaced by mechanical robotic parts, giving the dinosaurs a Frakenstein's Monster appearance.

What happened after that was something unexpected, the Chimpanzee Microchip, soon began to learn and adapt. It even began to make its own electricity and work like a real brain. Soon, the dinosaurs began to talk, and question the humans authority.

What I am planning after that (thats not the plot really, just a genreal summary) is that
-A, the roleplay is the war between the Dinosaurs and Humans.
-B, The humans in a hasty effort, moved the Dinosaurs into a South American Rainforest, were the dinosaurs begin to take over and even adapt more, slowly traveling over to the other continents, taking over and destroying the human populations. The RP would be the dinosaur's lives.

What do you think? Any other ideas for the RPG can be suggested as well.

If the Dracorex requires a robotic body, why involve the DNA at all? Why not just kinda do Westworld with dinosaurs?

I personally don't like the idea, and wouldn't join a game like that, but that's not saying that no one else will.

What I'd say is; are you getting responses when you tell people about it? Have you got members waiting to join? Is it an original, but also wanted idea? If yes, start it up. If no, don't let yourself set up something that can never work.
