What kind of RPG Forum would you want to see? Beocuse I really can't decide on an idea. So, i'd like to see everyone's opinion. Please tell me the genre (Fantasy, Human, Animals, Pokemon?) and some spacific htings you'd like yo see in it for a change. That would help me out a lot~ :green:

Haha, you would actually be surprised. However, they are getting more popular again because of Clone Wars. Wait a couple months, and most will have died off, just like when Episode III came out.

Anywho, I'm not into what genre I want, I'm actually more of a person who says, "This is what I want in a site..." Because, seriously, if I see a forum that fits all my needs, I'll be apt to join. I don't care what the genre is, I just want it to be a decent site.
However, I would like to see more rps based off of the move Jumper.
Just please, please, please, please don't make HP or real life. Slap me twice and hand me to my mama, I'm sick of those!

This is what I want in an forum, all of these things:
Real Life, Small Town. Present Era, and beginner friendly. No-app or short applications. And allow original characters. Invision-Free please. Humans only.

Create a game that you will love first and foremost. Other peoples' opinions shouldn't really matter, because if you create a game for other people before yourself...you're basically dooming the game to a very short life as, chances are, you'll grow bored of it and the game will suffer as a result.

So create whatever game you will have a blast on and know you can stay dedicated to for the long term. :3

I would like to see an RPG based off this Russian movie called "Night Watch."

I was actually a member of one like that, only it was before the movies came out, so it was based only on the books. You'd be amazed about how fast it died, since it has far too many complications and people can be so terribly lazy at times xD

Rhi-Rhi's got a point there. Other people who like Star Wars, or whatever can make those forums themselves, because they're interested in it. Find a topic you love and whatever it is, as long as you put effort into it, I bet anything that at least a few people will come. ^_^ Good luck.

I have to concur with the people that have said that it really shouldn't matter what people in RPG directory have to say. Two things matter...1) what your interests are, and 2) what sort of writers you want to attract.

Some of the most rewarding forums I've ever been a part of avoided the trap of catering to popular storylines (such as the endless sea of Harry Potter ripoffs out there- and I really don't mean offense to fan-fiction people- it's just not for me) and had admins that created something from their own mind and invested their heart and soul into.

As an admin you have to decide what you like because ultimately, the site lives and dies with your activity. Make sure it is a subject you feel comfortable creating in, and one that even when the chips are down and you lose most of your members you can see yourself writing in for a long time because utlimately the hardest battle is the one with your own interest.
