This has never happened to me personally (for some reason I never dream about anyone I know in RL, much less any of my characters), but I know it's happened to a bunch of other people. They have dreams about their roleplays.

For example; two different members on AG had dreams about the same character in the same week. I HATE this character that I created, but these were utterly hilarious...

So, how many other RPers have had this happen? Have you dreamed about your charries and site before?

I thought I was the only one! The only crazed, deranged, psycho, lunatic one. Apparently not! I usually have administration nightmares. Where members go haywire and do all sorts of ghastly things to infuriate me. Then I awaken and find that all is well. Not sure if this indicates anything about me personally, buuut...

Well, I use my RP characters occasionally (or derivations thereof) in stories, and I definitely dream of those... in addition, take this with a grain of salt, because I've been known to dream about Charles Darwin. Extensively.

But recently I did have a long and involved dream about one of my characters from Thiasa, and, more puzzlingly, someone else's character. It was highly dramatic. It would have been horrible if we'd RPed it, but in my head, it was lovely, and it did give me a nice plot idea.

It was also very disturbing in many ways, so I will not go into detail.

quite often for me, actually. XD i get a lot of plot ideas from dreams, and they're immensely fun. XD

I think I had a few before, but I had forgotten what they were about. I have many administration nightmares, though. Then one night I had a dream that my forum is eating itself, that the posts started to disappeared and I was hurrying to try to save my members posts and worrying if they would blame me. I think the cause of this dream is because I found the cbox's new messages disappeared itself...

Yup.

Pathe-thingy plays this awesome character called Llew, honestly I've never considered him much of anything beyond an interesting, complex character. He'd never struck me as attractive, I've never fangirled.

Then I had a dirty dream about him that came completely out of left field. I went all. @_@

Besides that, the last dream I had was about an AU version of Mary Jane Watson that I haven't played since I was 16/17. She was a mutant herself and a big part of a futuristic resistance. Very awesome, could acquire metals. I dreamt about her hopping over a fence and landing on someone. But that is all I can remember.

I have crazy dreams about my brain children all the time. XD Dunquareiel shows up often (she was my first character EVER), and Riley's a frequent cast member. Natalie, a character that's played by Amanda at Meliora, sometimes accompanies Riley. Dunquareiel's family members occasionally pop in, but her kids are rarely in my dreams. Her son was in a good one, but that led me to plotting with him until I decided to kill him off in a really depressing way. Perhaps it's better that my characters stay out of my dreams. 0.0 Bad things happen.

Would daydreaming to plot out what a character would do IC count as dreaming about roleplays?

I had a dream the other night about being on a plane back from Guatemala with the kids that went down there with me and M. Night Shyamalan sat down next to our friend who is allergic to peanuts and has to wear a mask on planes. And started talking to her while the lot of us are turning around being like "OMG I THINK THAT'S M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN!"

.... so the answer is usually no.
