I've literally been sitting here for like.. two hours, looking over baby name sites and just thinking for a first name for a female detective. Nothing's seemed to just click, but maybe you guys can help me out. For the playby, I'm using Evangeline Lilly, if that helps.

For some reason, the name Alexis comes to mind XD. Ha, I just looked up the meaning. ALEXIS: Feminine form of Greek Alexius, meaning "defender."

Hm. Hadn't seen / thought of that one. I'll keep it in mind and see what else people come up with. =)

Abigail is another maybe ( another A name too! ) Don't really like the other two though.

I've never really like Jessica ( reminds me of this one brat I knew long time ago ) or Brianna ( too close to my name.. ) but Sophie is nice. It just sounds a little too.. nice? And I can't imagine her really having it.

It's some variant of Jasmine, or Jessamine. I had a friend with that name when I was really little, about three. I don't remember her, but I do remember her name. It's pretty, and unusual, and hopefully not too Mary-Sue-ish.
