Is there much interest in a Superhero, Villains focused game? I've had the idea rolling around in my head for a while and I think it'd be interesting.
I'm picturing a thematic cross between Aberrant and Marvel (ALL of marvel). There would be no restriction on origin of your freakish ways but there would be power restrictions. Mostly on time travel, because those storylines are rarely done well.
The problem I'm facing is that Villains aren't typically the most social bunch. Would focusing on a single group of villains be a good idea, or several groups that give their members a free reign?
((Note: If a mode could go delete the other thread I accidentlally posted in Reqesting Rpgs, I'd be most appriciative.))
My friends had one, it died, was reborn, died, was going to be reborn, erased. Now I think I'm just going to start a new one and get them to help. I'll get it to you if we go on with it.
Well, most RPs I've seen have villains, and there are many comic bookish sites out there. So, it's been done, but it's a proven formula.
RE: Sashokun
Thanks, I'd appricate it.
RE: Wildething
You misunderstand me. I'm aware that there are lots of games with villains/bad guys. Indeed, they drive most conflict in the story. I'm talking about a game that focuses on Superhero villains, as in the people who rob banks and what not. Heros, if there were any, would be in the minority. I'm checking for interest for people who would like to play in such a game, and how to pull off a RPG with a type of character who are normally socially maladjusted.
