Every freaking time I install Windows on this god daggen tree shagging heaven forsaken BOTTOM OF THE FOOD CHAIN COMPUTER *breathes* I end up having to clean out a load of Trojan viruses, theres a teddy bear again... the malware... email worms... spyware and adware... automatic adware junk downloaders... All in under a month of fresh installation. And not just pop in the CD and tell it to reinstall kinda installation, I mean full on rip this hard drive out, Kill Disk it several times so there's absofreakinglutely nothing on it, and THEN install.
Does anyone else find this god freaking jesus freaking cream filled christ bloody ANNOYING!? I mean, I'm sitting here and typing this and as I am theres about four new ads on my task bar because SOME STUPID INTERNET EXPLORER DOESNT FREAKING UNDERSTAND WHAT A POP UP BLOCKER IS. I don't know maybe it's just me, but is it seriously so freaking hard to protect a damn computer from viruses and crap? Windows has this, that and the other freaking thing when it comes to guarding your computer from harmful software downloads! But NONE OF THEM FUCKING WORK! WHY IS THAT! HE'S THE RICHEST GOD DAG COMPUTER NERD ON EARTH!
RG!
And then I decided, just to see, to install Ubuntu Linux 7.04, Feisty Fawn. And guess what? The wired internet immediately connected, the pen tablet immediately functioned, all buttons programmed already to their proper equivalent, the screen size was the way it was supposed to be instead of that random "lets stick this extremely powerful graphics card on 800x600 just to piss this guy off!" crap Windows pullled on me. I mean, it goes to 2560 x 1600, WHY PUT IT ON 800 x 600!?!? FOR THE LOVE OF CREAM CHEESE!
So I install it and whatnot. Photoshop doesn't work on it of course because they changed some of the fucking binary files for Wine. [Yes, Photoshop can indeed run on Linux... has been able to since PS7....] and if I choose to upgrade so the files for Wine function properly and I can install PS, my tablet's functioning goes bye bye because someone thought it was a great idea to fiddle around with the xorg.config file.
Umno some of us depend on that file kthanks...
And I still no matter what don't have pen pressure. I DID YESTERDAY.
I really need a cigarette. Must resist. Must also resist the urge to destroy every computer on earth as well as the urge to drink myself stupid. Cause neither of those will solve anything. O_o -__- technology is such a double-edged blade.
