Hi to everyone,

okay here is my problem. Time ago a friend of mine opened her Forum with another friend, at the beginning it was all so cool. Everyone was active but then it started to turn down, and not just later it was still at the beginning. Anyway one of the girls (the one who played with me) came online on messengers but she never was on the forum and replied. I m a very calm person, but then she did that for months.

After some months i discussed it with her, i talked to the admin but she couldnt help me somehow. And they asked me to wait..My patience was away, i just didnt care to rp anymore. If she wanted to reply then i would reply back and so on. I was so happy at the beginning but then i really despised to rp.

One of the active people (one who played with me too) opened a topic cause she saw how much i suffered because of the lack of the other girls replies. But then everyone attacked her as well, that they couldnt rp 24 hours a day like us (what we didnt of course). The girl who did never rp with me left...

The active girl as well (but for other matters that came later on the forum, like the admin yelling at her cause her chara kissed a chara who was already together with hers) , and 2 others followed and left.

Then i made a bad boy and everyone was against him, they even made a topic for me that i had to stop to make him such a troublemaker...

Then something worse happened, a boy joined (everything was fine at the beginning), but then girls started to like him and stuff. And when one of the admin of the forum came together with him, the girls who liked him or her started to not be so active anymore (they had fighted), i was angry and had a fight with the boy and the admin. I apologized of course but then the admin...took my banner away of one of my charas and changed it with a really offensive one.

After this nobody came back anymore. Now its just me, my sister, one of the admins, and another girl. I made so much advertisment for that board but nothing helps. And i cant move the others who are still members to come back...the other admin (the one together with the boy) doesnt feel like rping anymore. When i say something they take it immediately bad...

I dont know what i can do anymore...i even cried out of frustration because of this. Cause my charas cant develop...

New people who wanted to join said that they dont want anymore because the forum is so unactive..

Am i wrong? Should i just stop to advertise for this Forum?

This makes me suffer a lot and now that i opened my own Forum...its also unactive. Cause the same unactive person from before joined...i dont know what to do. I advertised a lot and asked even people if they wanted to join. I already had to delete two members. One because nobody wanted to play with her, she was fan of a couple and that person just said to her that she personally didnt like them and therefore she will not play with her. After that this person didnt come anymore.

Please help me i need advice and im sorry for the long post ><

Leave the board. The admin changed your signature to something mean? No, get the heck out of there and never look back. You're putting way too much energy into a board that doesn't appreciate you. There are so many good boards out there; don't waste your time at a board like that.

I'm with December. You should leave. The board you describe is not a good place for you. Frankly, it doesn't sound like a good place for anyone.

RPing should be fun. It should be something you enjoy and look forward to. It should not be something that reduces you to tears of frustration and stress.

And switching someone's sig? Absolutely unacceptable abuse of admin power. A case could be made for deleting a sig, but changing it to something offensive? No.

Seriously, get away from those people. They are not good people.

Yeah, wish I could say otherwise, but this is one of the few cases where you really can't do anything to help, and should just leave. You gotta leave to preserve your pride and keep your mind intact; already your stress levels are visible.

I agree, get out. It causes you to suffer which isn't what RPs should do. Admins have no right to do mean things like that to a member without any proper reason...and even with a reason they should handle it in a very different way. The board just isn't a good place to be.

When it comes to your own board...don't ask inactive people to join. And just work on your board, see what might be wrong with it and try to fix it. Inactivity always has a reason. Sometimes some board ideas just don't take off. All you can do is try and get connected and get players to join. Advertising and talking to RPers is the way to go. Maybe even getting a good co-admin ith connections and interest to your board could help your board to take off.

Any role play that causes you a lot of stress or to cry isn't worth it. Admins that do that kind of stuff are also not worth it. I've been there with the forum thing. This is the internet. If being on any website or forum is causing you THAT much stress, leave. Seriously. If people on the internet are causing you that much stress, tell them to take a flying leap off the grand canyon and put them on ignore. Seriously.

That admin is a prick.

With that said, you should leave the forums if an admin is that petty and that vindictive to do crap like that. Some people should not admin a site. EVER.

Why did you even stay? I'm very patient as well, but I would have left after the first two problems. They are hypocrites and jerks. Don't worry about them, they're going to get what they deserve. Crying over an RP site is a sign to get as far away from it as possible. You should make another one like it, and try to keep that crowd off.
