Title: Bats,clowns And Creativity!
Description: -is kind of picky-

Twenty-three - July 25, 2008 02:27 PM (GMT)
Genre: As long as it isn't about boring real life, I'm interested. It really doesn't matter the genre, as long as you have something different and with some action! No Highschool/Boarding school/Harry Plopper games, please.
Difficulty: Medium/Advanced...as long as you have good posters.
Type(s) of Creature(s): humans with powers/mere humans...again, if it's original and fresh, you'll get my attention.
    Preferred Rating: Mature
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: I like new boards who are still starting. I really ain't crazy about BIG boards. But, if you have a good plot, I'm in!
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: Present // Future

    Other Notes:
  • I just saw the new Batman movie, and I loved it. Heh, so, to celebrate, every Batman related board is welcome!
  • I'd really, really like to find a RPG with an original plot...I tend to create quite...weird characters. But insane characters like the ones I make up wouldn't fit so well in the real world. Good and creative plots really call my attention. And although mom always said 'never judge a book by its cape' I do judge the boards by their general aspect.
  • The perfect game, would be one with action and adventure. Maybe a superhero game. I'd, once again, like to stay away from X-men RP. Merely because I've been in so many, for such a long time that I got tired. So...sorry about that folks.
  • What really matters is that the Admins of the game show dedication to their site. I like to interact with other characters, it's fun. But if there are no exciting subplots, or if the admins simply seem to be there to accept and deny our applications...the place seems to lose its charm. Good plots, dedicated admins, good posts and a pretty skin are all I ask for. ;)

    And that's about it.

    Hit me!

Although Meliora does not take place in your preferred time, I think it may interest you. Meliora is a classic fantasy roleplay with a lot of opportunities for people to get involved and be creative. There is a long list of accepted races, and a deity system that provides a lot of interesting occupations (priests/priestesses, mages, and gods/goddesses). If you have a crazy character, we probably have a place for him/her. Also, the land has a mixed government of royalty and divinity, which obviously comes along with some interesting problems.

We're currently in the process of developing two site-wide plots. One involves a secret mages' guild which threatens the balance of Meliora's government and the importance of its deity system. This will force all of Meliora's citizens to rethink their opinions on how magic in Meliora is kept under control. The questions here are: who should have the power to use magic, and who should decide? Also, there will be a rebellion in which people will be forced to side with the imperials (royalty), the deities, or those who wish to keep the government the way that it is (mixed jurisdiction). These plots have something for everyone.

Meliora isn't a new site (I joined in '05), but it was revamped when I took over management in May. Prior to its revival, the site had two remaining members (including myself). Now we have about 20 friendly people in the Meliora family. They're all very enthusiastic about the game, and eager to welcome new people into the community.

If my contributions to the site aren't enough evidence to show that I'm committed to it, I don't know what is. XD In addition to roleplaying with the members (I have three characters, one of which is a deity), I handle the development of Melioran culture, the reviewing of applications, and just about everything else that needs to be done (another admin helps me with applications, and one does a lot of the advertising). Meliora can be a lot of work, but the members have shown that what I've put into the site has been greatly appreciated. Therefore, I find that it's really a pleasure to work on. I don't plan on leaving it anytime soon.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me here at any time or contact me on the site. You can enlist the help of any of our members through the Cbox or Questions and Suggestions forum. :)

. . .There Are Many Paths to Tread. . .
In a land governed by royalty and divinity, how will you choose to live? Will you devote your life to your deity, serving them as a priest or priestess? Will you live independently, giving up the protection of the divine? Will you reside within one of the cities of the eight under the watchful eyes of the god you trust? Are you one of the extraordinary who can earn the right to share in the powers of the gods as a mage? There are many choices to be made, for in Meliora, all things are possible.

. . .The Power of the Eight. . .

Long ago there was a battle with the mighty Leviathon that changed Meliora forever. The greatest mages of this time joined their power to destroy the Leviathon, but paid a great price. They perished. Their power was lost, but the land was restored. Years later, individuals from across the land began displaying powers greater than those of the mages that restored Meliora. They became the eight deities of fire, water, earth, air, day, night, time and fate. Since then, some deities have come and gone, but the spirits of nature have chosen others to rise in their places. The Eight are the most powerful beings in Meliora. Your fate is in their hands.

. . . Nothing Lasts Forever. . .

Meliora has prospered for many years, but all good things must come to an end. The Leviathon proved that tragedy can strike when it is least expected. It is only a matter of time before peaceful Meliora is, once again, shaken to the core. Will you be the change you wish to see, or will you step back and watch as others control your destiny? Even the smallest person can change the course of the world. Every soul counts.

Join us and find your way. . .

We have several members, since the site was started only a couple weeks ago. But definately expect replies dished out for new members. We absolutely love them, and we really like to bring them into comfortable standing with everyone.

So expect to join our family, haha.

We rely heavily, but canon or originals in this rp. So, we leave the choice open for you =D

Las Vegas is where anything goes, and everything stays. All the secret affairs, gambling, it's where people go for time to just have 'fun'. But then, there's always cheaters to this system and sometimes, it's not always fun for everyone else.

Casino: Fatale is a Literate To Advanced roleplay forum about transparant societies underneath all the lights, and the fancy colors that Las Vegas holds. Two teams, FALCON, and RAVEN, oppose each other in pure hatred for one another, or at least, their leaders due to beliefs about the way things should be run. Main mission? To destroy one's organization before the other destroys yours. Some may think it's simple, and each group puts the main goal as 'Protecting Vegas'.

But there's more to the story than a simple fight and protect scenario. It goes into a deep history between the leaders of each team, and the original goal that both teams shared. Differences create enemies, and now you must decide on where your loyalties lie. And is what you're fighting for truely noble?

AND WHERE HELL IS, THERE MUST WE EVER BE
ALL PLACES SHALL BE HELL THAT IS NOT HEAVEN.
WHY THIS IS HELL! NOR AM I OUT OF IT!

SO, LET'S SAY YOU'VE JUST DIED. YOU KNOW YOU DID, YOU CAN REMEMBER THE BLOOD OR THE PAIN OR WELL, HOWEVER IT IS THAT YOU JUST SO HAPPENED TO HAVE KICKED THE BUCKET, BUT THE THING IS, THE AFTERLIFE DOESN'T LOOK ALL THAT DIFFERENT FROM, SAY, ANY INCREDIBLY SHITTY LITTLE TOWN IN UPSTATE NEW YORK. BEFORE YOU GO THINKING YOU'VE GOTTEN STUCK IN SOME SORT OF PURGATORY THOUGH, DON'T WORRY, BECAUSE YOU SEE THOSE CHEERFUL PEOPLE ALL DRESSED IN BLACK CLOAKS? THEY'RE HERE TO INFORM YOU THAT THIS ISN'T PURGATORY! IT'S HELL'S WAITING ROOM! HELL'S GOTTEN A LITTLE FULL AT THE MOMENT, AND WHEN GOD CREATED HELL, HE HADN'T ANTICIPATED US HUMANS BEING SO INCREDIBLY SELFISH, SO HE DIDN'T MAKE IT QUITE AS ROOMY AS HEAVEN. WELL, GOD, THE POWERS THAT BE, WHATEVER YOU FEEL LIKE BELIEVING IN RIGHT NOW, HE AND LUCIFER ARE WORKING ON IT FOR YOU, SO FOR NOW, YOU HAVE TO SIT AND CHILL. APPARENTLY MAKING PITS OF FIRE AND HIRING DEMONS OUT TO RIP THE FLESH FROM YOUR BONES IS A TOUGH GIG.

SO, YOU'VE GOT A COUPLE YEARS TO KILL IN HELL'S EQUIVALENT OF A WAITING ROOM. WHAT DO YOU DO? WELL, YOU COULD GET A JOB. CRAPSHOOT OF A PIZZA JOINT DOWN THE ROAD SEEMS TO BE HIRING. OR YOU COULD MILL ABOUT AIMLESSLY CONTINUING TO BE AS USELESS AS YOU WERE BACK ON EARTH. EITHER WAY, YOU'RE STUCK HERE WITH HUNDREDS OF OTHER MISFITS THAT JUST COULDN'T QUITE GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER.

---

THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE TOLD WHEN YOU GET TO BRUGES, LIMBO, ANYWAY. SOLEMN REAPER TYPES BRING ALL THE LOST SOULS IN ON CITY BUSES, TELL 'EM TO GIVE IT A COUPLE YEARS AND HELL WILL HAVE A NICE TOASTY SPOT OPEN, BUT UNTIL THEN, BE GRATEFUL THAT THEY'VE BEEN ALLOWED TO CHILL. PUN INTENDED. THING IS, BRUGES IS NOT HELL'S WAITING ROOM, IT'S A JOKE BETWEEN GOD AND LUCIFER. GOD DECIDED PURGATORY WAS TOO EASY, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PEOPLE KNEW THAT THEY WERE THERE JUST LONG ENOUGH TO PLAY NICE. SO HE REDECORATED WITH THE HELP OF LUCIFER, AND RENAMED PURGATORY BRUGES AFTER AN ENTERTAINING MOVIE THEY'D WATCHED TOGETHER ABOUT AN UNHAPPY HITMAN. BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT. BRUGES WAS SET UP SO THAT GOD COULD SEE IF ANYONE REALLY WANTED TO CHANGE, WOULD THEY GIVE UP THEIR HUMANITY AND SIMPLY GORGE THEMSELVES ON ALCOHOL AND DRUGS, DROWN THEIR SORROWS AS IT WERE? OR WOULD THEY TRY TO SHAPE UP, EVEN IF THEY WERE TOLD ALL HOPE WAS LOST? IT WAS A BETTER WAY TO TELL THE USELESS FROM THE USEFUL.

ALONG WITH THAT, GOD SENT DOWN SOME ANGELS TO HELP TEMPT SOULS HIS WAY, WHILE LUCIFER SENT UP SOME LUCKY DEMONS TO DO THE SAME. IT'S A LONG RUNNING GAME WITH LUCIFER AND GOD, WHO CAN WIN OVER THE MOST SOULS TO THEIR PART OF THE SPECTRUM. LUCIFER USES COOKIES TO TEMPT, AND GOD... HE CHEATS. HE USES PRETTY WINGED ANGELS OF THE OPPOSITE SEX BEHIND LUCIFER'S BACK. COURSE, HE'S GOD, SO HE CAN DO WHAT HE WANTS, RIGHT?

---

SO WHAT WILL IT BE? TRADE REASON IN FOR MADNESS? OR DO YOU STILL HAVE THAT LAST LITTLE BIT OF HOPE LEFT IN THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD THAT MAYBE GOD HASN'T FORGOTTEN YOU? REMEMBER, GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES. LUCIFER'S ALL ABOUT INSTANT GRATIFICATION AND ETERNAL DAMNATION. UP TO YOU.

Well, sounds like you could give CtS a try~ We adore 'strange' characters though there's very few. We're set 70 years into the future from now an have both humans and 'gifted humans' as well as 2 other playable races. We're semi sci-fi / fantasy and would love to have you stop by. =)

Welcome to the Steampunk world of Legend Makers.

The former King was lately found to have died of natural causes at the age of 35. Predicted cause of death was heart failure. Unknown to most, the result of his kingship's death was from a large quantity of Foxglove in his soup, which in small doses is classed as a drug used to aid those with weak hearts, yet large doses can prove fatal.

Following the death of the King, his child Alexander the III has taken up the role of monarch at the young age of 7 years old. Due to his age and inexperience, the Church has offered their services in helping run the Kingdom temporally until his 16th birthday when he can take his rightful position in the political world, seeing as his knowledge of the political world and faith will be up to acceptable standards.

Unknown to the public, the Church has lead the continent for the past 100 years by pulling such stunts similar to this one:

Monarchs have been used as political puppets, to be used when useful and discarded when posing a threat, much like the former king Alfred the IV. His Rule was cut shot due to a few outcries on his half against the Churches current place in the political world, (unaware, every decision he ever took as King was moulded by the Churches very hands). This lead to a momentary laps in the peoples respect for the Church. The Puppets strings were quickly cut away, opening a position for a new monarch, a new face for the church to hide there scheming behind.

In the mists of time, long before Saetan was called to make his legend in the realms, wearing the darkest of jewels, the Black. Long before he used that power to rub the entire territory of Zuulman out of existence. Long before the coming of the most powerful witch to walk the realms. The dark weaving of Mother Night calls you from the comfort of the Darkness to bring you forth into a world of light and conflict.

In the glaring Light you see edges and differences that had no meaning in the Darkness, differences in race and social status, leading to conflict with ones self, your neighbors, sometimes all the world. You have been born into a world where violent emotions of hate, fear, jealousy and anger, especially anger, can erupt for the smallest offense.

You are Blood. Mother Night has given you more, a caste and the ability to wear a jewel. Your caste and jewel are yet more means to differentiate you from your peers and bring more hate, jealousy and delicious anger. Yes delicious anger, for your jewel can channel your anger into power, power to strike your enemies and power to frighten your friends. It is indiscriminate, cold, and dark, the darker the more powerful and frightening.

Simply by being Blood you are dangerous to all around you, everyone sensitive to the chill in the air that announces one of the Blood tapping into the dark depths of their jewel. It is the calm, cold, still moment before all that anger and dark power erupts upon the world in dark violence destroying all that are not protected by the power of an even darker jewel. There is no jewel darker than the Black. When Blood wearing Black go cold all you can do is summon your courage. There is no place you can run to, no one to whom you can pray. You have to summon the courage to take the anger that fuels the Black away, to lead the Blood gone cold from the killing edge.

It can't be all anger, hate and conflict that the Light offers, for Mother Night could not be so cruel to call you to a world so harsh as to offer only pain. The jewels gifted to the blood respond to, enhance and violently manifest all emotions not just the destructive ones. Blood will sing to Blood, jewels will sing to jewels, lords will sing to witches and Princes will sing to Queens, the darker the Blood and the jewels the more violent the passion and the more beautiful the song.

What will be your song? Will be a song of pain full of the wild notes of war, conflict and death? Will it be a song of celebration strong enough to stir the ancient hearts of the dragons still rumored to live in the realms, thanking them for the gifts they bestowed to the Blood? Will it be a song of sorrow, a keening howl or mournful dirge, deep and dark enough to blunt the edges and ease the anger? Will your song call to all the Blood of the ages resonant with a violent joyful power, transformative to all it touches and born from the deepest love?

Somewhere a weaver of dark webs calls the silken strands of joy, pain, sorrow and celebration left in your passing and the passing of all the Blood. Black strands of the darkest power fitted one to the other into the darkest web, forming the shape of a dream, and one day that dream will be made flesh, calling Witch to the realms.

Welcome into the world. Welcome to the Darkest Web.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Darkest Web is a mature, advanced role-playing board based off of Anne Bishop’s Black Jewel Trilogy. In a time of blood and tribulation, we are forging our own tales about the men and women that make up the Blood Race. Romance, war, and scandals fill up the pages of our book as we tell the stories of those that could become legends. The Darkest Web has been an active board for two years now, and we plan on being around for many more to come. We have wonderful administration team and very active players. We are always looking for new players and new ideas. We would love to have you.

We're active admins, brand spankin' new, and we're REALLY excited to get some members! We're in the Charmed Fandom, though an extensive knowledge of the show isn't needed; if you seen maybe two episodes you're good to go!

If you have ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL, feel free to PM me!

It seems that whenever the world is finally spinning the way one desires it, something comes along and knocks it off course once again. For the Halliwell Sisters, the world had been spinning wonderfully for over twenty years. Their powers had become unmatched, even by the infamous King of Good Magick, and they alone had nearly purged the Underworld of magicks that were to be of a danger to their children. They each had three beautiful children to carry on the Warren blood and spread good magick. True these children held no special powers beyond that of their blood and they aren’t Charmed Ones or anything close, but they shouldn’t be counted out. They have something that the world has always been after. Something even good is after.

Great power flows through those pages and the rights to claim it is solely yours would give you rights to the entire magickal world, or at least that’s what one mislead boy thought. Wyatt Halliwell was supposed to become the King of Good Magick, and though he was well on his way, the Elders gave him three hoops to leap through. The First Task; prove to three whitelighters that he had a mastery over his powers. This was easy for the powerful young man to complete, and the first hoop had been leapt through with ease. The Second Task; reach the age of thirty, a point at which the Elders believed he would be ready to receive their blessing. The Third and Final Task; have something to which he could prove his greatness. In this, the Elders meant only that he needed to commit some great good deed or prove he was truly good. To him, it meant getting something of great power. Though Excalibur, the sword he was to wield, was eventually to be under his control, he lost the ability to use it around the age of fifteen. The reasoning is still unknown, though many believe a new guardian has been born. With no other options, he turned to the infamous Book of Shadows.

He approached his mother, the matriarch of the Halliwell Line, and asked for the book. She refused to give all its power to one Halliwell and leave the others without it. Upset, enraged and confused, Wyatt left the manor and was found by a rather...dark man. The Oracle told him that if he was to remove his mother and her sisters from the world, that he would become the Patriarch and could thus imbue himself with the Book. That night, Wyatt returned to the manor and confronted his mother once more, begging her for the book. Her refusal caused a rage to burn within him, but yet he couldn’t bring himself to do it. He couldn’t kill Piper Halliwell; he couldn’t kill his mother. However, someone could. The Oracle arrived behind Piper and stabbed her, managing to avoid her detection.

His aunts, having been guided by a premonition of Phoebe, arrived to see their sister dead and the two drew a rather obvious conclusion; Wyatt had killed her. Paige sent a bolt of electricity that resembled that of the Elders toward her nephew who blocked the blast with a shield. Consumed by his own magick and rage, the boy threw an energy ball at his more passive aunt only to find a familiar figure in his life blocking the shot; his father. Leo had charged in front of the energy ball and died saving one of his charges. Phoebe, who didn’t have her physical strength about her at this age, rushed for the book while calling out the name of her husband. Coop arrived with Henry (the two had been working on convincing Henry Jr. to ask a girl out) only to find their deaths awaiting them. Henry tried to take down the boy and did so, but a mortal can only do so much against a witch. A blast of energy threw Henry back, breaking his neck and leaving his body lifeless. Paige tossed another blast of electricity toward her darkening nephew as she rushed toward her husband’s lifeless body. Her hands rested over him as she tried to heal him, but no magick came. There was no way to return this dead mortal.

Phoebe called out for her sister to start the spell as Coop used his powers to stop the wicked man. The two Halliwell witches both knew what spell they’d be calling on; the one they had used years and years ago to destroy one of the greatest evils ever known. However, the Oracle had different plans. His athemae found another sheath and Coop fell to the floor, dying at the hands of a rather wicked creature. Though the sisters had started the spell, Wyatt managed to end their lives as they tried to finish the spell. Emotionally destroyed, afraid to hurt their nephew and confused, the Charmed Ones fell and Wyatt took a leap into darkness.

the king has left

The magickal world is in shambles. Good and Evil have both suffered from this. Good magick no longer has a hero or a hope to turn to and Evil must suffer the burden of changing age old taboos about Warlocks and Demons. Killings have become a common thing as beings of darkness try to get enough power to challenge the Warlock King. Good beings are dying at a rate unseen in years and there’s little they can do without the infamous Charmed Ones running about. Mortals are still chugging along, but even they are starting to notice things are changing. The future is unclear and though we know that every hand will change the course of history, the hand that ends this chaos is still shrouded in darkness. It could be yours or that of your killer. Darkness is coming and the time of light has passed. Take a stance and get ready for a ride; no one is coming to save you this time.

Have 2 that might interest you. Both are sister sites, and work in conjunction with each other.

http://z6.invisionfree.com/DC_Heroes_2027/index.php?act=idx

That's DC Heroes 2027. Set in the DCU some time around 2027....actually, I think, technically, we're into 2028 by now...but shhhh....details....

Both sites allow for canons, so long as their activity 20 years later is properly explained. And both sites encourage originals, or new takes on old concepts.

http://z6.invisionfree.com/Marvel_2027/index.php?act=idx

That's Marvel 2027, the recently restarted sister site. While it does have X-Men....it has a whole lot more, focusing on the entire MU, not just the mutant drama.

Both sites run kinda like they are comic book companies, with series of comics, and sets of issues....Both sites are kinda small for member numbers, but pretty easy to become comfortable with, as we're pretty friendly.

Feel free to check us out. I'm Green Lantern on DC, and Captain America, on Marvel, if you have any questions. Both sites also use a linked cbox...

»this world of ours holds many secrets. for generations they’ve been carefully hidden and we continued our lives in ignorance, oblivious to what was under our nose. now everything’s in jeopardy; now everything is about to be exposed…

»we are shapeshifters. two species of the same race. those who follow a human heart and those led by an animal’s. we hate each other and have been fighting the same war for over thousands of years, perfectly balanced in power. now the odds are different. and it’s all because of tyrander.

»tyrander. a man so powerful, he claims the gods bow to his wishes. his takeover was so quiet, it almost was unnoticeable. almost. he started in africa, working his way to power and soon combining all the clans of the anthos within the african nation. he then spread to europe and asia. his takeover was not hostile and his ideas won him many supporters. and that’s one thing that can be said for the man: he keeps to his word.

»now it’s 2008 and america has been relatively untouched by his developing empire. his south american bases are secure and he’s begun moving north… at risk of exposing everything. but oh, he doesn’t care. tyrander’s ultimate plan is to have the anthos metakinos rule the world with humans as their personal slaves and the faunos wiped from the earth for good. the only people standing in his way are the faunos themselves and the few underground rebellions, started by the anthos against his dictatorship.

I know you said no boarding school roleplays, but it's not the typical "ohemgee look at the highschool drama" crap or Harry Potter, and I think our plot is pretty original, so I thought it couldn't hurt. We have a lot of members, but activity has started to die down, and we're undergoing an activty check to weed out the people who are just taking up space, so [regrettably] I think we're going to be a little smaller soon. >>

The phrase "once upon a time" has been around for who knows how long. No doubt you've heard it in your own childhood. The thing we associate it with the most is the fairytale. You know how it goes; they start with our four words in question and almost always end with a "happily ever after" of some sort. Their characters, good and bad, live in infamy. Of course you've heard of Snow White, Prince Charming, the Fairy Godmother, and let's not forget others from non-fairytale favorites like Alice, the Big Bad Wolf, and Merlin. Some stories have grown in popularity thanks to a certain Disney fellow. Some have yet to earn an animation deal but survive by children's books and the like.

But you know that already. Teach you something new, right?
All right then.

get ready to be schooled.

When most children turn eleven, they have a birthday (obviously) then continue on with their regular lives. For a select few, they are cordially invited to attend the Grimm Institute for Fairytale Characters, known shorter as just Grimm's. This school, located in an uncharted, picturesque countryside in a castle right out of tales of knights in shining armor, educates the reincarnations of the world's most renowned fictional characters. Someone has to make sure the stories are told, after all. At Grimm's, those who have inherited the spirits of these characters are taught how to harness their inner powers and to properly tell their tale. Princesses-at-heart learn to be proper princesses, Princes to fight heroically and save their damsel in distress, fairies to work their magic, and the list goes on. Even pirates and lost boys come around every now and then. It's the kind of school that every small child dreams of.

However, Grimm's is a boarding school. This educational process continues for seven years. Therefore, the castle houses students from the beginning age of eleven all the way to some of eighteen years old. Even at a school for the world's favorite stories, drama can and will arise when you stick that many adolescences under one, albeit very large, roof. The stories can be hectic enough on their own, let alone with modern-day mortals studying to play the parts.

So at the request of Grimm's students, you can cram your "once upon a time" and "happily ever after." They're getting all of those they can take. The middle of fairytales always involves a struggle or turmoil, and in this fairytale, they're about to be schooled.

Sorry guys, I'm always on the run in these days xD
I'll just say a few things:

  • Foolonthehill I love the idea of your RPG. It sounds amazing...but some of the posts I saw seemed to bring me down. Short posts I mean. I've got no problem about them! I myself like writing quick posts every now and a then! But right now, I'm searching for something more advanced =/

Thank you very very much anyway! I love Greek mythology! xD
  • Squeechan I've been on your site once! I didn't actually join I lurked around...it sounds also very interesting, I also love the idea of having fairy tale characters living in the 'now days' heh! I might join, but not just yet. I think I'll spy on you guys for a while. But, consider you guys on my fave list!
  • Kitay interesting idea. Beautiful site, but I'm not really interested...sorry >_<

  • Renegadenm thank you. I love superhero sites. Although I prefer DC comics I also love Marvel! I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll join 'em. I'm really sorry...I have no good justification and I feel dumb since you're the first to give me sites that involve superheroes. Oh well. Sorry again.
  • .cooper thank you very very much, but to tell you the truth, I never watched Charmed and I am not very interested in watching it any time soon xD

A young Bruce Wayne spent his adolescence and early adulthood traveling the world so he could hone his body and mind into the perfect fighting and investigative machine. But now as he returns to Gotham City, he must find a way to focus his passion and bring justice to his city- a city that has fallen into the darkness of evil. Fighting injustice as a costumed vigilante, we watch as he chooses a guise of a giant bat, using his own former fear to bring terror to those tormenting the citizens of a once great place. Few bonds along the way, respect both ways with lieutenant James Gordon, a twisted working relationship with the feisty Catwoman, all in the struggle to bring down the corruption infesting Gotham.

Well not superhero, you may enjoy a Halo based board. The good thing is, its not based on the games at all really, and therefore you dont need to have ever played any of the Halo trilogy to really get started. Although it is recomended you read up on the story on Halopedia, as long as you grasp the universe its set in, you can do fine.

Based after the events of the Halo Trilogy, Conflict adds a totally new story to the Halo Universe. After the Human-Covenant War, most thought that the storm had passed and Humanity could become peaceful agian. However, thats not how we tend to work. Like the troubled times before the Great War, civil strife and rebellion started up agian.

With the governments of Humanity in shambles, early attempts to rebuild them were met with corruption and lack of authority. The UNSC took it upon themselves to become the Government of Humanity instead, leading to some rejection by the people under it.

Around 2559 a splinter faction named the United Colony Command split from the UNSC, claiming that the UNSC was corrupt and was not the government of the people. In the first round of the war, nuclear warfare was used on colonies. This was in the Paris Battles. This consisted of skirmishes across the Paris Colonies that ended up in nuclear warfare being used.

Lord Valieon, the UNSC Fleet Admiral was kidnapped by the UCC, and was killed infront of a number of UNSC officials. After Crystal McKay filled the spot, the Orgion Conventions were started to stop nuclear warefare. By 2569, both sides are locked in a seemingly everlasting battle spanning all of Human Controlled space.

You must join the fight, and pick between two sides that are neither good nor evil. Will you be able to participate in a Civil War and kill your fellow humans only 13 years after the end of the single most horrible war in Human history?
