Title: *chirp* Where You At...?

Serris - July 24, 2008 07:18 AM (GMT)
Right so I'm Serris, yeah 's my real name probably because my parents wanted a girl. Pff, as if you could tell the difference. Anyways, I've been roleplaying for about 5 or 6 years now. I stumbled on a MUD called Arkheim Winter and after a couple years, became a staff member which got me into programming and design unfortunately that died after another year so I got sucked into forums.

Most of those forums I got into are either medieval fantasy or Naruto-based (got into anime after watching Inuyasha). 'm also into Japanese Rock/Pop and've been to Japan three times now (I cant wait to go back); My 3 years of college Japanese helped but theres nothing like being thrown into that culture. Yeah, college - I went in way early and am at Washington State University right now - and very much broke. *taps lips* Oh! I'm a criminal justice major though the whole eyeliner, effeminate style and such probably doesn't settle too well - happens when your REALLY into that whole visual kei thing.

I guess I can be proud as saying I've never cursed but I think thats gotten to me since I tend to use slang more than a REALLY white guy should and its a bit more awkward considering I can never keep a straight face. Rahahahaiiight. So, theres probably more about me but I'll spare you for now.

Anyways, hope to talk with y'all soon and be able to share my forum here as well. Since I'm on a muse hiatus I'll probably be popping into a few threads; hopefully my insight can be helpful. *bites lip* Or whatever.

I can teach you some fun swears in German. :p Actually, I don't really swear that much either. It's so much more fun when you can make up bizarre little phrases instead. Anyway, hi. I've taken one year of Japanese, but I sucked so I didn't continue. (Of course it didn't help that my teacher didn't know how to teach me grammar.) I'm much more into German, though I don't take that anymore, either and I can barely remember it. Oh, I'm in Spanish right now.

At any rate, there's a brief overview of my languages. Because you really wanted to know.

I'm December, Esq, also known as Dec. Welcome to RPG-D and I hope you have fun browsing the forums. It's a pretty cool place; if it wasn't, I wouldn't be here. Or rather, if I wasn't here, it wouldn't be a cool place.

I crack myself up.

Hey there, Serris! Your real name is one letter off of my real name! :] But anywaysss.
Welcome to RPG-D! I'm Pandex.
I myself loved InuYasha when I was younger and it led me to the glorious Japanese language. However, I've never had the chance to learn it. I only know a few phrases. I wil be learning Latin next year, though. -nodnod-
And I hope to learn German as well.
But anyways...
I hope you like it here! <3
And it's true what December says. December makes it awesome.

Aheh, thanks. This forum has the most content and activity that I've seen so far plus the threads are kinda interesting, kinda odd but thats not saying odds a bad thing, adds to the interest. ^-^; *awkward smile*.

Right, so hopefully I'll have something to add here.

As for my Japanese, I could probably break out with some cursing though there tends to be a lot lost in the translation - which usually turns out to be more humorous than intimidating which I lack anyways but thats hard anyways when your red dye fades leaving your hair kinda pink. *sigh*

InuYasha was great when I was younger also, not sure I'd feel the same about it now but it got me started. Learning Japanese definitely helps since you can watch and read the original manga/anime - the music makes sense too. Have to point out my favorite artist, Gackt and Yoshiki. Yupyup. Progressive kind of rock with a Victorian? twist.

Thanks for the welcome!
