Hi there!

Figured I would introduce myself, as suggested by the rules. I'm not really a Secret Agent Man (had you fooled though, didn't I? haha) or even really a man. I'm a girl, 22 years old and counting, and my name is Manda ^^ short for Amanda, of course. (I'm not really sure why everyone started dropping the 'A', but they did and now here I am!)

I've been RPing online for about 8 years now. I started with X-Men right after the first movie came out and then branched out to Harry Potter when I learned that there were HP boards in existence. HP grew old though, and I found myself once more in the realm of comics, RPing Batman and X-Men. Good times.

Over the years I've had a few boards of my own. I also eventually learned how to make acceptable graphics. I'm sittin pretty in Boston these days, trying (unsuccessfully) to save money and write a book. I really should quit RPing so that I ahve more time to write stories and such but OH WELL. I'm much too addicted to do that.

What sort of book are you trying to write? That'd be pretty cool to do, but I don't think I could give up roleplaying either. XD

Why hello there! I'm an X-men fan myself, currently running mine finally. And it's working well. Anyway. Welcome to RPG-D, I hope you have fun! :) I'd like to finish my book too, but the RPing is kind of taking over my life as well. ehh...I'll get to it one day. :)

Thanks all! So good to have another Amanda around haha. I know... umm, too many Amandas to count, including my best friend.

I also expected there would be other people here also trying to write books xD I dabble in sci-fi for the most part, but my favorite time period in history is turn of the 20th century, so I've written stoories that take place there too.

But you know, it's SO HARD to get anything published. I have half a mind to start my own publishing company. I want to go back to school first... so we'll see!

Yeah, when I actually finish something that I want to publish, I'm going to have to work my ass off. But then again, that's why I'm not going to work as a writer full time. :p

And if you do start a publishing company, let me know. ;)
